A child that have not gotten to the age of 18 should not be taught about bitcoin as this is the normal age a child will get before he or she will start looking into some certain things and not even all. It's just like as it is in gamble that under 18 should not gamble because they know a child within the age of 15-17 can be so naive and they can easily make mistake.
I know bitcoin investment is far from gambling but even at that we are supposed to apply that rules of under 18, because there are some certain things that kids are not meant to know not until they grow up.

Is there a law that states and prohibits children under the age of 18 not to use bitcoin, I don’t think there’s such law and at such children should be allowed to learn about bitcoin even if they’re not making money from it yet but they should be given the opportunity to learn and develop their knowledge and mindset towards bitcoin to enable them approach it in the best possible strategy when they eventually start . Bitcoin is volatile and it doesn’t wait for anybody so if there are kids who are interested to learn about bitcoin then they can learn without restrictions due to age, what matters most is that they are learning and being taught in the right way so they won’t use it wrongly or abuse it.

We live a age where information flies. If we fail to teach our kids early in life about Bitcoin and other crypto currencies alongside how the work and the right choices to make, they will get the information outside or from a random platform and there is no guarantee to how legit the sources of their information will be. We don't have to wait for our kids to declare interest before teaching them. Once we see their inquisitiveness has risen its best to educate them then and all them make their decisions on how the handle the information.

I like your words. I think it is better to give children the right idea according to their age rather than keeping them away from Bitcoin. However, at the beginning, instead of telling them stories of profits, they should be explained the value of money, savings and risks.

For example, if a child learns to save some money from their pocket money every week, then he will gradually understand that earning money is difficult, and it is also very important to hold it properly. Then he can be gradually explained that just as there can be profit if the price of Bitcoin increases, there can also be loss if the price decreases. I'll teach my kids about Bitcoin but they'll only be allowed to have access to a wallet I created for them when they're of age and wise enough to keep their seeds safe.
 So, informing them about it before they're of age is not a bad idea since they'll fully understand it before they're ready to adopt it for different usecase but using it before then is a big risk.

Children are meant to learn about what their parents want them to learn and have understanding about and there in no need of trying to make it look the other way. There are rich families that have created a separate accounts for all their children and even month they continue to send money to their children bank account so they can build person wealth for them.
You can teach your children about Bitcoin and while they are learning, you can be buying Bitcoin and be keeping for them in a separate wallet you must have created for them.

Kids can also carry out transactions if they are taught. That depends on what they were told and the wallet they were shown to handle. Kids are fast learners; if they can learn every other thing about Bitcoin, why not the wallet aspect and how to do transactions.

A good reason for not teaching them how to make transactions from their wallet is if I suspect they lack good financial judgment. Any child with bad financial choices will not value the bitcoins in the wallet.
