From all you have been through it was a good courage you took because most people in gambling always knows were there main financial issues comes from but could not bring themselves in making a decision against it, but however you should really be very determining against any temptation of going back to gambling because if you have gone very deep the feeling will definitely come back. In my opinion you shouldn't have close the betting account because I prefer the self exclude to be more helpful because is the only thing that would give you more guarantee that you are never using those casino.

The decision to quit gambling completely is never easy, and for you to be able to do that is a very good thing because you are able to decide to stop gambling completely and start thinking about your priorities.

Actually, I don't know how your life is, but I hope that you can get your life back in order and commit to this decision that you will not return to gambling again. Since deciding to stop gambling may be possible, but to stay away from it permanently is often the hardest part.. many may only last a few months, but when they experience a strong temptation, they eventually return to their old habits.. Hopefully, you won't be like them.

It would not be the first time I have seen someone trying to quit gambling and ending up relapsing and going back to gamble again. In the end, what truly matters is one's will power in order to stay committed and eventually completely forget about gambling.

If I was OP I would try to find something completely different to distract my mind with, which does not have anything to do with gambling and betting. He mentioned he wanted to work on his own personal economy and such, that is good, but he may eventually need something different so he won't pay attention to gambling. Perhaps a hobby or some activity he could do with other people.

Thanks again everyone for your replies, it has helped me stay strong with my decision to quit gambling.
I hope I can grow my business and succeed with this project.
I just received my paycheck, and instead of buying crypto and gambling, I've stashed it away to save up.
Thanks again for the encouraging support

If gambling interferes with business, then the decision to quit gambling completely was absolutely correct.

I also lost a considerable amount of money at a casino at one point. After that, I forgot about it for many years. I had to do it because I had no choice. I was given strict conditions. The choice was: family or gambling. It's obvious.

Just know that it takes a while to completely heal from gambling addiction. Even after you’ve decided never to gamble again, you’ll always be tempted to hope on the screen again, just to go try out if luck would be on your side that day. And this is the part where a lot of folks end up going right back in, even after promising to stay away. But staying true to your word and decision and always holding yourself back no matter how serious the urge may be can really help you recover faster.

It's hard to quit, even after closing your accounts, you could always come back.
This is true, it's very hard, I even tried closing my Roobet account a couple weeks ago, and I failed to commit back then.
But now, it's official. I've quit and do not want to come back to gambling.

Good luck with ending your gambling journey. The first few weeks would be really hard(not that I speak from personal experience, I still haven't quit gambling). Try to find a hobby that would distract your brain from the constant thoughts of opening a new casino account and gambling again. Always remind yourself about how much money you have lost via gambling. The pain of losing money is always bigger than the joy of winning money. That's the way it's supposed to be, but perhaps some gamblers are more risk averse and their brains function in a different way. I'm still a gambler and I still gamble, but I can offer nothing but support and encouragement for the people, who have decided to quit gambling.

And I think that could the only thing that we can to him, as for the majority of us who might have quit at some point. But then there are too much temptations that we go back to gambling again, and it could be worst that when we quit.

For the majority who still gambles though, they could have learn a valuable lessons like trying to control themselves as not to fall for the habit of being addiction. In anything in life though, not just gambling, everyone needs to have self-discipline so that we won't go to the extremes.

It's good that you have a plan to protect yourself from the possible temptation to start gambling again - maybe it would be good if you could block yourself in the place where you used to buy cryptocurrencies? Something like a first line of defense, considering you've already disabled some gambling sites yourself.

You can always grow your business and get back on your feet, the good decision you made was to cut all ties with gambling, that's a good start, ensure you disable ads in apps and site you use so there's no chance they remind you of gambling, lest you may be tempted to click again. Sending you much strength and encouragement as you strive to get back your life together.

If you have a problem and sounds like you do, i understand if you want to come back for support in replies.

But honestly, i would rather avoid all things gambling, even the forums. It's like going to bar sober, telling customers that i don't want to drink anymore.

What you need is peer support of ex gamblers, who learned to cope with addiction. Not messages from active gamblers without same situation. Just google gambler anonymous and your local area.

I wish you luck and good life. And remember that you made a right call for you.

Yes, it's very difficult to stop since they designed the games to keep us glued to them as if we were trapped
congratulations if you managed to defeat your inner demon
not everyone has this strength to say no and stop, which is truly commendable.
