That’s a good question. I know there are restrictions on family and close friends betting on matches where they may have insider information but I’m unsure about how that would apply in local leagues. At least I know in my country, the restrictions are not enforced in the local league.

Most of the games I bet on, I don’t even watch them, except in fewer occasions that I decide to do so. Majority of the games I’ve spent time to watch is basically for entertainment and fun, especially when I’m watching the games with some friends, because that’s the way I enjoy watching the games more. The reason I do this is because I feel really tense watching game I actually bet on and I really do not like feeling that tensed.

I don't think so that's the reason. Many people watch sport matches because they love it and enjoy watching them. If someone is a fan of football or cricket or baseball or any other sport they will still watch the matches even if they can not place a bet or there favorite team is playing or not. You definitely cannot tell if some persons are secretly betting amongst themselves, I mean it's not something they'll go around announcing but that aside, before sports betting became this popular alot of person had genuine love for the game even till this present day, so I'm not shocked when I hear people spending their time to watch a football tournament or even watch players practice. I something watch our local street football which is not even a tournament just some friendly game and it's feel good doing that even without having anything to bet on, just supporting a side is OK.

I don't need to be gambling to enjoy football, as long as I enjoy watching that league I will watch their games regardless of whether or not I place bets on their games, my obsession is with football and not gamble, I do sports gambling because I watch football, I don't watch football because I gamble so I would never be too busy to watch a game from a league but then not be busy to gamble, I just don't see that happening with me.

That is the point.sometimes it may not even be the matches I bet on that I will watch their match. I am not watching matches for the sake of betting; I am watching matches for the sake of entertainment. That is why I focus mostly on matches I feel will be tough and interesting.But I don't know why I am like that  Maybe it is because I gamble for fun, and that is why i don't always care that much about what the outcome of the bet will be. I also believe the same applies to some people; they don't always feel the same way about matches that may not be interesting.For instance, if I bet on Championship League teams, I don't think it is that necessary to watch the match, even when I am less busy, because the league is not as competitive as the Premier League, La Liga, and other top leagues.

If someone only watch match where they can bet then gradually they will become a consumer of betting market rather than a fan of that game.
I still watch many match where I don't have any bet because I enjoy the team, tactics, development of young player or the decision of coach. Rather watching these match gives me good idea of ​​​​what to bet on in future.

Majority of times, I mostly watch game due to my passion for the team involved.. Sometime I go out with friends to watch neighborhood football and it's local league.. And I do it not because of what I hope to gain from it, but because of the joy and happiness it brings to me.. To be honest happiness is bigger than any kind of financial gain whatsoever.. And for those folks that tend to always be selective of their games, most times I think it is because they have limited time due to their jobs or due to their different personal engagement.. And so for the little time they have they tend to only focus on where their money is .. By this kind of ideology simply mean that that individual is simply all about the profits..

Let me be specific to football sports, the sport wasn’t invented for gambling sake only so we cannot limit our watching to only the match we are stacking on. It should be more of an entertaining sport than pure gambling even though some people are saying gambling is also their form of entertainment. The moment  you make gambling main reason of you watching a sport,  you never get to enjoy the sport because you’ll always be pressured and frustrated as your main goal is to get a win based on your predictions. For me  personally I sometimes prioritise watching local team matches to those international club matches,  And it just because it entertains me more. I support Chelsea, but I could skip Chelsea’s match for a local team match I enjoy watching even if I had placed a bet on the Chelsea match. I consider football as a sport that’s meant to just give us that refreshments after a hectic week and not make gambling our sole reason for watching matches, atleast  we should enjoy the games too.

Personally, I also mostly watch some few games just because I like the team. And secondly, I don't really select games to watch just because I'm the busy type. I always don't find watching football interesting, mostly if I'm not supporting any team. And the funny thing about me is that I don't even watch games that I actually bet on, because the pressure will be too much for me. I always tend to panic if am watching a game I bet on and I might end up cashing out even before the game will end.

And I think it's not nice to let bet become the only reason a person should enjoy football. Once you passion for sports is replaced with the desire of winning money, every single time you lose a bet, it will feel like football itself has become disappointing. Also, betting on local league competitions can be offline, perhaps among friends who watch the match and it's all cash. Nothing online or any house edge vig to play a part in it.

I see both sides. Some people watch games purely for the love of it, while some only watch when they have a bet on. That's just how things are now. I still enjoy watching teams I can't bet on, like local matches and even some lower leagues. No stress about winning or losing money, just enjoy the flow of the game itself. I agree with you, soem people place bets on matches they dont even watch, all they do is to analyse and hope for some profits, i once did that some time in my life, at that point i was just after some profits  i didn't really care about watching the match all i wanted to see was the after results.
But when i stooped gambling for money, my gambling rate doped so low, sometimes i can stay more than one week without even getting to gamble. i just watch football, support the team i want and hate on the team i want getting ready to banter their fans, there is a lot more to sport than betting,

Right now whether you bet and enjoy the game is entirely up to you, because I bet on this World Cup match and enjoyed the game. But here if I win then I can enjoy the game in a very enjoyable way, but when I lose then I find it very boring to watch the game. And currently I bet on cricket matches but it is a very long game that I don't watch it.
So there is no need to enjoy the game if you bet on the match, here it is suitable for the way we can enjoy it.
