EVENT HORIZON
The New Era of Blockchain Banking

DISCORD  •  WEBSITE  •  TELEGRAM  •  X / TWITTER  •  GITHUB

TABLE OF CONTENTS
1. Introduction
2. One Engine, Any Silicon - How ISCO Works
3. Power, Measured in Lum
4. Kerr (KER) - Tokenomics
5. Roadmap
6. The Team
7. Discord, Website, Telegram & X, Github

1. Introduction

ISCO is a single adaptive mining engine for CPU and GPU that auto-tunes itself to your hardware. Your hashpower is measured in Lum, and mining pays out in Kerr (KER) - the foundation of a new kind of blockchain banking economy built to fund real scientific research.

2. One Engine, Any Silicon - How ISCO Works

ISCO detects what you're running - CPU, GPU, or both - and tunes itself automatically for the most efficient mining setup on your machine.

CPU - Adaptive core
Drop in the miner and ISCO tunes itself to your processor for the most Kerr per watt.

GPU - Same engine
Add a graphics card and ISCO shifts to GPU-optimized work automatically.

CPU + GPU - All of it
Run both at once - every device feeds the same pool of Lum.

3. Power, Measured in Lum

Luminosity (Lum) is your real productive output. You earn Kerr for the proof-of-work you do: steady payouts in Pool mode, or a whole-block lottery weighted by your Lum in Solo. Fully auditable.

4. Kerr (KER) - Tokenomics

Code:
Max Supply:     100,000,000 KER
Block Time:     10-20s
Block Reward:   8 KER
Consensus:      Proof-of-Work
Engine:         ISCO (adaptive CPU/GPU)

Mining-reward vesting: your mined KER releases gradually - 10% of your last-24h mining unlocks every day at 10:00 UTC, plus an extra 20% of your still-locked balance on Day 10 and again on Day 25, and a full unlock on Day 35. This keeps early sell-pressure low and rewards steady miners - from Day 35 vesting switches off for good - every coin is unlocked and freely tradable, and anything you mine afterwards is spendable instantly.

5. Roadmap

Mainnet (Jul 28, 2026) - Mining opens, point any CPU/GPU at ISCO from block 1.
Aug 4-5, 2026 - P2P marketplace opens - non-custodial KER/USDT swaps via on-chain escrow (we never hold your funds).
Aug 7, 2026 - Milestone unlock: an extra 20% of your still-locked rewards releases.
Aug 12, 2026 - First exchange listings (NonKYC, SafeTrade).
Aug 22, 2026 - Second milestone unlock (another 20% of locked rewards), more listings.
Sep 1, 2026 - Full unlock - vesting ends completely; all mined KER is freely tradable everywhere, and nothing you mine after this day is ever locked again.
Sep 11, 2026 - Open-source release: the full project source code goes public.
Sep 2026 - Staking + larger exchange venues.
Oct 2026 - Payment integrations, cross-chain bridges, wallet integrations (Trust Wallet), miner/validator program.
Nov 2026 - Ergosphere - dedicated liquidity-mining & holder-rewards pool.
Dec 2026 - Frame Dragging - native cross-chain bridge (EVM + non-EVM).
Jan 2027 - Redshift - revenue-funded buyback & burn.
Feb 2027 - Photon Sphere - L2 scaling for instant, low-fee payments.
Mar 2027 - Cauchy Horizon - full third-party audit + public bug bounty.
Apr 2027 - Singularity - on-chain DAO governance.
May 2027 - Superradiance - merchant onboarding, POS integrations, payments SDK.
Jun 2027 - Kerr-Newman - mobile wallet, Ledger/Trezor support, browser extension.
Jul 2027 - Accretion Disk - formal agreement with a licensed US crypto bank, fiat on/off-ramps & custody.
2027-2028 - Full merger with banking partner, Tier-1 exchange listings, Mainnet v2 (sharding), Event Horizon research grants.
2028-2029 - Orbital - Event Horizon funds and launches its own research satellite to study black holes, followed by a small satellite constellation and a formal Event Horizon Telescope collaboration; full DAO decentralization.

The full roadmap runs deeper - see the website for the complete timeline.

6. The Team

Marek Kowalski (29, Wrocław, Poland) - computer science & cryptography graduate of Warsaw University of Technology, formerly a security engineer and blockchain auditor. Leads technical architecture: network infrastructure, tokenomics, security.

Lukas Neumann (32, Bavaria, Germany) - astrophysics graduate of Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, later built a career in data processing and high-performance computing while continuing to study astrophysics independently. Leads the scientific concept behind Event Horizon and outreach to research institutions.

The two met at a 2022 European tech forum on computing and data analysis, spent nearly two years exchanging ideas across physics and cryptography, and built Event Horizon around one core question: if blockchain can unite millions of people around a digital economy, why can't that economy fund real science?

The code hasn't been open-sourced, which raises suspicions that computing power might be being diverted to mine Monero or other coins. There have been precedents for this kind of scheme: launching a coin without open-sourcing the code while actually mining Monero in the background, then distributing tokens based on "contribution." I remain skeptical.

We understand your concern, but if you look at our roadmap, you will see that our code will be fully open-source by day 45 of the project. These are standard security measures designed to protect the network from various attacks and malicious actors during the launch phase, and to allow us to thoroughly address any bugs or vulnerabilities discovered—as the first month of operation is the most critical period for this. I would also point to Pi Network as an example: they have operated with closed-source code for years without it hindering their operations.

An interesting stance and project - it's the first time I've come across anything quite like this. I think the project would do well to consider going open source in order to build trust within the community. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to judge - and don't have the time to assess -  who's actually right here, but I'll be keeping an eye on the situation, since there's no shortage of news about this project.

This will be our one and only response regarding Rplant. We simply don’t see any reason to give this situation more attention.

There is even less reason to take these claims seriously when you consider our actual roadmap. We are moving to open source on Day 45, and exchange listings are already planned for Day 15. At that point, the code, development and actual progress of the project will be there for everyone to see and verify for themselves.

Rplant was interested in joining our team and worked alongside us for a period of time. However, he ultimately did not meet our requirements and was not selected for the final team. He clearly took that decision personally. Since then, he has been taking pieces of information he learned while around the project, mixing them with assumptions, and presenting the result as some kind of "exposé."

There is nothing mysterious about the technology itself.

Our algorithm is being developed with cross-chain integration, virtual machines and smart contracts in mind. It combines concepts and elements from multiple algorithms and is designed around flexibility and future integration. Yes, the project takes inspiration from technologies and approaches found in projects such as Monero, Scrypt, ProgPow and Argon. That is not some hidden secret.

If you dig through the source, you can naturally find seeds, references and components associated with different algorithms. That does not magically change what the project is or what we are building. It is simply part of developing a complex algorithm that draws from existing ideas while being designed for a broader architecture.

Rplant is taking isolated technical details and trying to turn them into a completely different narrative. Because he had some exposure to the internals of the project during his time around us, he can make his claims sound convincing to people who do not have the full context.

But having seen parts of a project does not make every conclusion you draw from them correct.

And there is another important detail: he did not even write the material himself. Instead, he apparently used AI to generate and package the narrative for him. That makes the whole situation even more ironic.

As for Rplant himself, we have also received plenty of feedback about his involvement in other projects. From what we have heard, there have been repeated complaints about his reliability, attitude and ability to work within a team. We are not interested in turning this into a personal war, but it does provide some context for why things ended the way they did.

Ultimately, this is not an independent technical investigation exposing Event Horizon. It is criticism coming from someone who spent a limited amount of time around the project, wanted to join the team, was not selected, and then decided to build a narrative around the information he had access to.

So this is where we leave it.

We are not going to spend more time arguing with someone who has already made up his mind. The roadmap is public. The development continues. Open source is coming. Exchanges are coming.

When the code is public, everyone can look at it themselves and draw their own conclusions.

Until then, we have much more important things to build.

EVENT HORIZON — MAJOR UPDATE
New miner · a bigger CPU payoff · a new region · solo fully fixed

Website | Discord | Telegram | X | GitHub

Our biggest maintenance drop yet. Update your miner and read on.

1. CPU mining just got even more rewarding
CPU is paying better than ever — if you haven't mined on CPU yet, now is the time. Point any processor at the network with ISCO. Best in class: AMD EPYC (48 cores and up) put out the most Lum/s by a wide margin. No specialized hardware, no tuning — one binary, `--engine auto`.

2. New ISCO miner — a huge stability pass
The new build squashes a large batch of bugs. Mining now runs rock-solid on CPU, on GPU, and in duo mode (CPU + GPU at once). Download the new miner:

3. New Hong Kong node — closer for Asia
A dedicated region for miners in China and across Asia:
  • Pool: hk.evhrzn.com:3443
  • Solo: hk.evhrzn.com:3444
Existing regions stay live: eu · us · asia · hk .evhrzn.com — pool :3443, solo :3444.

4. Solo mining fixed everywhere
Solo on port :3444 is fully repaired on every node and now works correctly on both CPU and GPU.

5. Double referral reward for CPU miners
Bring in a miner who runs on CPU and your Accretion referral reward is doubled — 2x KRS. More on the referral program: evhrzn.com/#accretion.

Update your miner and point your power at the horizon.

THE ALGORITHM MUTATED
Blocks dropped ~20s to ~10s — about 2x faster. Mine while the window is open.

Website | Discord | Telegram | X | GitHub

Yes, really. Our algorithm — and its variables — has a daily tendency to mutate. Right now that mutation dropped block times from ~20s to ~10s, roughly 2x faster.

Why it matters
The mutation is spontaneous and the code is closed — so nobody can predict it, and it means the algorithm holds even more secrets than you thought.

What it means for you
Mine now while it's mutated — you could earn up to 2x more than yesterday, and maybe more than tomorrow will offer.

How long will it last?
Nobody knows — anywhere from a few hours to a full day. The algorithm mutates spontaneously, and so do some of its variables.

Before you start
  • Grab the new miner v1.0.2 — GitHub release, or the mining page.
  • CPU mining just got even more profitable today — point your CPU at the network with ISCO (--engine auto).

Mine now and ride the mutation.
https://evhrzn.com | https://discord.gg/eCTeBXebA

The mutation sped the blocks up — your effective hashrate just about doubled. By how much exactly? Nobody knows.

Block time fell from ~21.7s to ~10s — more KER for the same rig, right now.

Announcement

Unfortunately, due to technical reasons, the launch of the P2P exchange has been postponed to August 6 at 17:00 (Kyiv time).

The good news is that our algorithm has mutated once again! 🚀 Block time has been reduced from 20 seconds to just 10 seconds, effectively doubling the network speed. Now is the perfect time to mine!

And tomorrow you'll finally be able to start selling your very first coins on the P2P exchange. 🔥

Event Horizon — P2P Exchange is LIVE

You can now trade KER directly with other miners. The order book is open right now:
https://evhrzn.com/eh-p2p.html

Pair: KER / USDT
Networks: USDT on Polygon and Solana
What you get
  • Instant buys — most sell orders are pre-funded: the seller's KER is already sitting in escrow, so you pay USDT and receive KER immediately.
  • Escrow-protected — funds lock in escrow before anything moves. Both sides are covered, and a buy order carries a 10% USDT bond so the maker has skin in the game.
  • Key-only sign-in — register a nickname once, get your account key, and that key is all you ever need afterwards. No email, no password, no KYC.
  • Live market data — order book, price chart and full trade history on the page.
  • Counterparty reputation — completed trades and completion rate are shown on every offer.

Mined some KER? There is now a place to sell it. Want KER without running a rig? Buy it straight from the miners.

Event Horizon — KER lists on WEEX

KER will start trading on WEEX — our first centralised exchange listing.

Pair: KER / USDT
Date: Aug 12–15 (a delay of a couple of days is possible if WEEX needs more time on the technical side)

Why WEEX

We evaluated two paths. NonKYC and SafeTrade proposed steep listing terms — substantially above market — while their clientele represents materially lower purchasing power. We decided those terms did not serve our miners: paying a premium for thin liquidity makes no sense.

WEEX offered a better match — stronger liquidity dynamics and an audience aligned with the project we are building.

Liquidity commitment

We will support market liquidity at launch. It is part of the listing terms, and it is the right thing to do for our miners — a debut with depth means less slippage and a fairer price from day one.

What this means for the project

This is a huge step for Event Horizon. We are going straight onto a major exchange rather than climbing the small-venue ladder first, and we expect our community to grow into the thousands within the first days after the listing. More miners, deeper markets, more eyes on the network.

Aug 12–15. If WEEX hits a snag on the technical side, it could slip a few days — updates as they come.
