However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.
Trading for someone is just another level totally. Before you get to such level you must have fully understood your psychology level and know how to protect your capital at all cost. You should have an excellent skill in risk management because your clients will not be happy to see that on an account which you claim to manage you simply couldn't pull off any single profits at the end of the day. I've seen many traders who in a short period of their trading journey suddenly begins to request clients for account management and this is where the beginning of their problem comes from. You shouldn't rush into account management because of the kind of profits that's involved because the risk is just too much and could call for serious crime charges..

You really gave him a good piece of advice, and I appreciate that. By the way, did you accept his proposal or not? And honestly, if I were in your place, I would never have accepted his/anyone proposal in such a way. Did you guys discuss those consequences in terms of the money lost or washed in trade swing? As you guys just discussed profit, which seems more like a dream haha. Because trading is not as easy as it looks.

And personally, I have never managed someone's funds this way and will never take risks this way. Because it is so obvious that if I lost anyone's money, then I would be responsible for that. But what you did was a great thing: suggesting someone to hold bitcoin for the long term, but with that, you should also suggest to your friend that he must do his research first before jumping into the crypto space.

Trading for someone is just another level totally. Before you get to such level you must have fully understood your psychology level and know how to protect your capital at all cost. You shouldn't rush into account management because of the kind of profits that's involved because the risk is just too much and could call for serious crime charges..
I completely agree with you. Managing account requires much more then only be profitable in own trading. The success is based on consistency, discipline and risk management, as you manage somebody elses money and trust.

We many see the young traders "taking over" client accounts just because they had "few winning trades". The market is always changing, just winning is not enough, to be really successful you have to have a tested strategy and emotional control, as everybody lose.

Transparency must also be on high level. Clients have to be informed about risks as there is no trader which can guarantee profit. Setting realistic goal is very important but, of course, respecting all the legal and regulatory rules too.

For me, and I think all others involved in account management too should have for instance: tested history, sufficient level of own risk control, knowledge to get through the market fluctuations and much bigger awareness as you get only 10k to 30k dollars to manage someone's money not 1m dollars.

I know people who have traded for others, even firms that accepted money from the public to trade for them (MBA FOREX), it never always ends well even though it starts out as profitable and promising. When i want to start trading, I will make sure to try and learn it myself so I can do the trading on my own, or possible be in the position to trade for others not others trading for me. I know using AI is not a guarantee to success in trading, but I will rather get used to using AI to trade than to start trading with the plan to give someone money to trade for me. I think some persons who started depending on others to trade did not always have the plan, some of them are trusting their tutors with money because their tutors have signal groups and have made them believe that they can be making profit by copy trading them while they try to learn, but they never tutor these persons to independence.

This topic I am creating here was a result of what we discussed offline and I feels like sharing here to know how people would reacts as well, while with friends, among us there are others there as well which was saying that he has been trading for a while now that whatever amount given to him that he would multiply it and balance back to them. That isn't a problem but what keeps wondering is that, I have been around this forum for awhile now and I have been seeing how people do lose in trading, even to the point whereby it's advisable not to trade for anyone because you wouldn't know when you will lose the entire money completely. Perhaps,  as we were discussing one of our old time friend that he is willing to give me specific amount to trade for him that he would be satisfied with whatever returns be it weekly, monthly that he is ready. Then I told him, instead of you giving out your money for trading why not buy Bitcoin and hold since that is more safer than trading because I wouldn't want where you accused me of running away with your money maybe after I may have entered wrong trade.

However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.
Actually, to tell the truth, I am not interested in taking responsibility for anyone. The thing about trading for others is that when you can give him a return by making a profit, he will appreciate your work a lot, but when you lose, he will not be able to accept that loss easily. I have traded for some of my friends and advised them, but when I realized that they were suffering when they lost and they felt dissatisfied with me, I immediately left them. The thing about trading is that only those who can take risks are eligible to trade here. Not everyone can take this risk. So I always trade with the amount of money that I can afford to lose and the set is completely my own money. But yes, I have experience of trading for friends in the past, but nothing was smooth there.

I can even imagine that people are still doing that because, in the event that the trader loses their money, who do you blame? Anything can happen at that point, and it will be a natural occurrence. The best course of action is for anyone who is interested to take responsibility for their own trading, as I fail to see why you would let someone trade for you when you know what you are supposed to do.

And I don't think I will even accept that responsibility from anyone because I know what it takes to trade and I also know the challenges it comes with,   and they need to just learn the same way that have learned because trading is a lot, and if they lose there money then they will blame you so if they should lose it then self then they will have a better understanding of the whole.

And I don't think I'll even take that responsibility from anyone because I understand what it takes to trade and the difficulties that come with it. They should just learn in the same way that I have since trading involves a lot of money, and if they lose it, they will blame you; therefore, if they lose it themselves, they will have a better understanding of the whole.

Op, I bet you that you will lose your friend's money if you ever try to trade for him. The question is, have you been successful in trading for yourself? Let alone trading for someone else. The pressure that comes with it is in no way comparable to when you're handling your personal trading account. Except if you both have an agreement that if you lose the money, your friend is not gonna hold you accountable, but that's even him giving you a certificate to blow the entire account because you are surely gonna mess up.

Management of a trading account is meant for professional traders. I tried it, and the result wasn't funny.
Op, stay away from it if you are still learning.

Actually the thing is everyone is happy when there is a profit, but when there is a loss, blame starts to be placed. Then the issue of money becomes bigger than friendship. So it is safest to take responsibility for your own portfolio yourself. Then the decision of both profit and loss is yours, and there is no opportunity to blame anyone else.

And speaking of me I would not want to take responsibility for trading for anyone else, because being a good trader and taking responsibility for other people's money are not the same thing. The market is always uncertain, so even a skilled trader can face losses. Then people usually blame the trader, not the market.  So if someone new is interested, I would suggest to teach them instead of just letting them trade. This way they will learn on their own and be able to take responsibility for their own decisions in the future.

A few years ago, when I didn't know much about trading, I used to trade by taking their signals from Telegram channels. There are many Telegram groups that give signals for trading, although I think they are not very acceptable, nowadays they mostly advise trading in scam projects. I traded meme coins with some of my money as they told me, although they advised me to buy at what price and how much I should buy, I bought accordingly and later I faced losses. Trading with signals from Telegram channels is not reliable at all, rather there is a high possibility of loss.
Moreover, they give weekly signals and they set a price at which they say to sell, but at the end of the week it is seen that the price does not reach that level, but instead I have to lose. However, I did not get any weekly and monthly returns by trading as those people said, rather my money was lost and I later sold it at a big loss.  And I think that trading should not be done reliably based on the advice of others, but it would be better to take advice from successful people, but you should not start with advice, but you should also gain experience yourself first.

The first thing is that by trading you can never be 100% confirm that you will make a profit, secondly it is not something that helps you to make a profit consistently. Various researchers on trading say that by trading the market is not a big enemy for a person, a person is his own biggest enemy because if a person cannot control his greed by trading he becomes emotional, due to which the risk of losing money increases manifold. Then no one can help him when he is facing a loss.

From my point of view, I would never trading with or on behalf of someone else because there is a risk of losing money. One wrong move can lead to the loss of all the money. Money helps people get out of trouble, but money also puts people in trouble. At first, your friend may trust you and ask you to trading with his money, but when you lose all your money, your friend may not trust you. He may think that you have kept all the money with you. When he asks you for money, you will not tell him that you have lost all your money, there is no guarantee of this. People do not want to accept the fact that they are facing big losses because it involves the risk of losing money. This will result in you being financially hurt, as well as losing your reputation and harm your friendships which will never be good again. So it is wise to trading with your own money instead of being greedy.

Teaching someone how to trade is the best way they can learn better, not collecting their funds to trade for them. Because losing is natural in trading. Anyone that is a trader knows that you can’t escape losing sometimes, because trading is unpredictable. You should always try to get experience and knowledge about trading, so that we can’t be discouraged whenever we give funds to traders and they say we’re at a loss.

My best advice is to not give anyone your funds to trade or let me said to risk because trading is all about risky, It’s more advisable to look for where they are doing some online classes on how to trade, and pay to learn. Later, when you have achieved what you need, you can become professional in trading gradually, when you understand and get some strategies that work but not always guaranteed that you can be profitable.

Instead of a trader giving out their funds to someone to trade for them when we know that such person won’t even protect that fund as much as he protect his. Why not just learn the trading ourselves and build our capital even if the profits isn’t determined and if we are so full of schedule that we can’t even get to meet up with classes then why not move to investing where we don’t  need to show up each time or be there after all it same results we are looking for in trading that is still available on holding which we know is profits so when we are now free man we can decide on building our trading knowledge or focus more on the investing.

I had the offer to help a crowd to trade, but I rejected the offer because I know it will not end well because cryptocurrency trading is risky, if the money is not yours, you will hardly be trusted by anyone if you lose in trading even if the make profit, with the type they are hyping the crypto trading based on the money people think is easy to get on trading, you will hardly find someone to trust you with the profit fully, they will have nothing mind that that’s just what you decide to give them but you made more than that in trading with their capital.

However, the best thing is to use and manage the little money you have to trade, because taking someone’s money for trading purpose will force you to trade always and will not want to make any mistake, and you will not be comfortable with some risks you take in trading, because you will not want to lose money.

I would never do it even if I'm an experienced or skilled trader because there are many risks I have to bear for this kind of activity.
Trading involve financial risk, there will be always loss moment(s) even if we are so skilled trader.
Losing our own money while trading can be just fine but losing friend's or other's money can bring stronger psychological stress/pressure on us.
There is also a risk of destroyed friendship, at the beginning they may say that it is fine to lose money but once it is happened, something may change.
The best option for me is to tell him "lets learn and trade together using our own account and money".

However, have you traded for someone and how does it ends and where you able to meet up to the monthly/weekly returns as said by the person? Share your thoughts so we can learn.

Few people have approached me before, asking me to help them trade, but I refused because I know how it could likely end if I failed to meet the person's expectations. Also, I know that trading is very risky, and being consistently profitable in trading is very difficult. So, why would I take someone's money to trade for them when I know the chances of success are almost 50/50? If it is an investment, it is possible that I may help someone, but only with a proper agreement. That is because I know the risks associated with investing are not as high as those involved in trading.I have seen people do it, and I have also seen how things usually end when their plans do not go well. Instead of taking someone's money to trade on their behalf, why not simply teach them how to trade? in my opinion, is the better approach.

A veteran trader would not do it to begin with. If you are great at it, it would be the first thing you think of, because there is no reason why you should be making trades for someone else. If it is for money, you are a veteran and already making money, so why would you need someone else's money anyway?

And if it is to help, you are already a veteran and know the risks, so why would you take that risk for someone else? If they want it so much, you could show them what you do and teach them, but they would have to do it themselves; you are not going to do it for them. That is the simplest way to help them.

So far, no. And I don't think I need to do this for others. I don't trade often, quite rarely. Therefore, if I do trade, it's better to focus on myself. Indeed, someone asked for my help. To help them trade their money and share the profits. However, I refused because it was too risky. No guarantee that I would gain profits continuously. Moreover, it would be too risky if the results did not meet expectations. Our relationship could become strained. Therefore, I firmly refused and advised him to refocus on learning about trading, making sure he was truly ready to trade at first.

I would say yes that I've traded for someone and sincerely it ended on a very bad note and maybe at some point I would take the blame because I was too confident enough that I don't bother to discuss the terms of loss with the person and even though I doubled the money before the exact date I was supposed to return his money to him, I didn't give him the retune because I was expecting to double the money again before sending him his share and that while incidence cost me a lot of peace because the guy wasn't ready to be patient with me and gave me so much pressure and that very incidence thought be contentment and ever since then , I try as much as possible to keep to agreement even if the date of the agreement isn't reached and I already have the  proceeds for the agreement, I always try to send them out but frankly I'm an occasional trader now and have no more intentions of trading for Simone without a  concrete agreement on the bases of loss if the account gets.
