If you feel luck is still with you then continue your gambling engagement.  If your worry is that you messed up, then you can just do some damage control.  Make sure that you make a limit for your fund every session, like 5% if your total funding, and play with it, the moment that 5% depleted stop.  This way you can engage in gambling for longer time with controlled funding. And you can decide to take a break later if you feel that  luck is not on your side anymore.

I agree with you on this point you have made because the decision to quit or take a break is entirely OP's decision to make, mostly as he is hiding his gambling activities from his friends.
