I don't feel it's nice to bet on a team I'm not familiar with all in the name of gambling. Since the world cup finals I've not made any bet on any team if I get bored enough I might try playing some virtual football games rather than betting on teams I know nothing about, and the reason to my decision is, I enjoy the entire betting process from selecting a team to checking their stats and relate them to their previous performance including key factors like star players in the team, and most of these foreign teams from different smaller divisions don't have most of these information in their stats as well so it's best I just wait till season opens officially.

It's definitely better to bet on teams we know and have been watching for a long time, although I sometimes wonder whether I should bet on a match between my favorite teams, because in the moment, I start weighing the odds and deciding whether I'll have even the slightest advantage or not. Because if I don't find one, I'll simply choose to skip the match, since I'm in no rush, while bettors who are in a rush and want to win money today, without thoughtful play or understanding how they can win, will likely lose. Although they sometimes get lucky, it won't always be that way.

I think we have a lot in common because I have not also been actively betting after the world cup. I do be on some leagues that are not popular but those are not my major bets since I reduce my bet size a lot so I don't expose my balance to so much risk. My major bets is usually on selected top European teams that I bet on totals especially when they are in their scoring spree such as Bayern Munic was last season. The players who played in the World Cup play in different leagues, so if you like sports betting more, you can bet on those leagues where your favorite players will play. In terms of gambling, it is better not to place regular bets, so I would say that since the World Cup is over, wait for a few days and when your favorite players play in one of the leagues, then continue your gambling again. This depends on each individual I personally prefer to wait. I've bet on leagues or teams I don't follow, but I've lost and found no entertainment because I couldn't watch the matches because it was difficult to find broadcasts. I don't mean I'll always win when the European leagues start betting involves winning and losing. But losing to teams I've analyzed isn't painful for me in fact it's entertaining.

This is different when I try betting on leagues or teams I'm unfamiliar with. I bet without any analysis, purely to test my luck. While I can ask AI for help analyzing unknown teams, it's not satisfying for me because I don't know the star players on those teams. Personally, I don't bet on soccer very often, except on matches between two great teams. I also only bet on games I want to watch, and won't bet on games I can't afford to enjoy. So, I am the type of gambler who isn't particularly influenced by specific events. If I wanted to, I would bet on local matches, or lesser-known ones, and then try to analyze them. Come on, isn't it so easy to find information on the internet these days ? I think there are already a lot, and you just have to choose from any source you want.
