He is also tanvir232 who is banned:

Its crazy to me that any of you would play with these unknown Telegram accounts, or Newbie or Jr Member accounts. Or accounts already tagged as multi-accounters, for that matter.

Word, unfortunately it's always as good as impossible to guarantee an environment where there are no multiple accounts participating since these rats always find a way. Especially through telegram, which is so easy to create and nobody would know how old the account actually is, there is a high risk involved.
Hopefully the damage is not too big. I don't think there is anybody to blame here but the upper mentioned rats. Obviously the hosts want as many players to join as possible, can't blame anybody for that. Yet maybe the vetting must be improved, even though of course this is easier said than done.

No, you have to buy them upfront and that is why we decided to refund those unused tickets and just to let you know, there are no exceptions for anyone. This would just add an extra layer of complexity. It would be good if payments roll in now because I am sure handling everything in the last second would be very stressful. Do @Ab de Royse777 a favour and pay as quickly as possible.

Royse was not the biggest friend of the knockout format in the beginning because he said this is some serious extra work with all the submissions (at first we thought about video recording ALL tables and then go through it afterwards...), checking them, accounting for them, deducting them from final ticket prices or paying them out, so let's make him happy with some good participation!
