Nobody knows what the bottom price will be and from my experience the last bear market in 2022, the bottom was in November. This time it can happen before or after November which means that the price will still dip below $57k.

I feel this is the best time to DCA and forget about what the chart is showing because if the bear market is over, you wouldn't get bitcoin at a cheap price like this.
You are absolutely right, no one can predict precisely or accurately when Bitcoin lowest price will be reached. So, what we need to do is prepare our available funds and use them to purchase valuable assets like Bitcoin even though the price of Bitcoin has dropped 50% from its all-time high as of today, there is no need to panic. In fact, this is a golden opportunity for us to buy Bitcoin at a discount taking full advantage of the current moment to acquire it cheaply. Because in the future whether 15 or 20 years from now prices will never return to current levels so, make the very best of this opportunity.

But maybe not many early adopters are still holding their assets because many of them lost their wallet and can't recover it especially they see the price rising high. If you want to be strong holders, you must had strong hands to hodl your Bitcoin and not panic if the price drops.

We might experiencing the bottom, deeper than the price now but no one know how deep that will be. Read or not, we must set for the buy button if the price drops and if you are investor, you should not panic because you already have seen this happens many times. You will prepares your funds and set your target price to buy and hodl so nothing to be worried.

Obviously, not everyone will be holding at the same time; not every investor will be selling. This is why we have both the giant holders who are whales/Institutional investors, and we also have the small-scale investors or individuals.
Holding through times of bear is not for everyone including the ones that are quick to ascert that they are capable of holding through all the downs and ups that they are expected to experience on Thier way yo reaching Thier investment goal.

The best way to remain consistent in holding even in times when a lot of people are selling is to treat your investment as though it's not yours. By that, it means that regardless of the quantity of bitcoin you're holding, as the value goes down, reduce how often you take a lot at it and instead, increase on your accumulation stack. If you've agreed that you're only going to touch your holding after a set out year when bitcoin must have gotten to a particular value, just stay true to that plan and don't be pushed to selling too soon or else you risk selling at a loss and leaving in regret ever after.

If we are going back and look at history, yes, we have seen those individuals that sold early regret their decision. But those who didn't and who went thru hell in the bear market and just continue to buy and take the risk is big winner.

As far as the bottom price in this bear market, no one has the crystal ball and see what and when it's going to happen. Right now, if anyone are not aware of, there is a big problems with the holder of a hardware wallet. But still, it didn't affect the price to go down hard.

Some early adopters of didn’t have much confidence in bitcoin, and they don’t believe that bitcoin is going to get to the current price, so some of them sold their bitcoin so early hoping the price was going to crash. If you really want to hold bitcoin, you have to be prepared, you have to ignore what people are saying on social media most especially whenever there is dip in the market. Real bitcoin investors won’t panic whenever there is dip in the market, because they already know that it’s temporary, and it’s going to bounce back, so they have nothing to panic about.

Nobody knows how low bitcoin price is going to go, but we should know it’s going to bounce back, so it’s better we just keep on accumulating as the price goes down, or we should just keep on holding the bitcoin in our wallet if we don’t have money to accumulate more.

It is absolutely pointless for someone to be predicting or guessing where the price of Bitcoin will be in a given period of time unless the folk is not an investor and he or she is looking for when to enter the market and then exit in profit which doesn't work so easily that is why some traders still make loss. Though buying Bitcoin this period will be very great if the price went back to its all time high before or even more than but we should use our discretionary income because the market is very volatile.

The early adopters of Bitcoin are still holding their assets to this time will not selling, while the weak investors are selling at a loss, not being able to afford holding for a longer period of time.
How sure are you that the early adopters are not selling rather the weak are selling? Well the market does not show an indication of who sell and who holds, as a matter of fact the people who can sell Bitcoin that will push Bitcoin to the bottom line are the early adopters/investors or the whale who has a major shear in the Bitcoin market. So you can't be so sure of who sell or even at Lost, all this are just mainly speculation.

Now, if the same holders have to continue in this process without selling and eventually imagine a 30-day change, does it signify we are already going to experience the bottom?

How do you think that we would go to the bottom if Whale are holding and not selling, of course if the whale are selling drastically we might see the bottom. But for now I don't see us going anywhere below this, the last bottom is still lower than this current one and we are already hoping to get out of this. So seeing the bottom wil not be possible from my own perspective.

I must say that it's largely a game of guesswork trying to time the exact bottom of Bitcoin. No one knows what the $57K will be or whether there will be another big drop to come. It is much more important what investors do with their money in this uncertainty. DCA with discretionary income can be a sound strategy rather than waiting for the ideal time to join in, as you may never get it. Valley cards that ultimately hold up through the volatility are also good indicators that will build confidence for the long term. Given that a bear market is already over, the prices today might be very low when past, in hindsight.

That strong hands are not just those who don't sell. But those who are able to remain disciplined in highly volatile markets. Investors of all types are tested during both bear and bull markets, and it is crucial to have a plan in place. They shouldn't be forced to panic sell because of temporary corrections if they have a belief in the long-term viability of Bitcoin. Meanwhile, simply holding on to the stock doesn't work. Either there is a time to sell, too. In the long run. patience. Appropriate risk management and decision making without an emotional approach can make a significant difference.

I just read a news report that major Bitcoin wallets have reached their highest level in 6 months, with only 90 wallets holding more than 10,000 Bitcoins, while the holdings of smaller wallets are declining, indicating that part of the supply is gradually moving towards what is known as the strong hands.

Although this may indicate a strong upward movement, it is not guaranteed because, on the other hand, we see some major companies like Strategy& have started selling part of their Bitcoin, and there is also strong selling activity in ETFs and some major mining companies.

Some of them don’t know how to properly secure their bitcoin, so some of them ended up storing it in wrong wallet, and some of them lost access to their wallet. Some early adopters also got scammed, because they had no proper knowledge about bitcoin then.

Real bitcoin investors won’t panic whenever there is dip in the market, because they already know that it’s temporary, and it’s going to bounce back, so they have nothing to panic about.
That is right so that makes some early adopters leaves their wallet without knowing Bitcoin starting popular and increase the price. Those who can hodl for some level price area sold it because they think the price will not increase so high. But then the price soar to high price and I remembered when Bitcoin price reach $20k, some people shocked and can't believe that is happened.

With the price increases high, those people must hodl Bitcoin tight and just continue their accumulation if they have this plan. They can leaves influencers that talking about Bitcoin because that can makes them worry. If they experienced that in the past, they should knowing how to deal with it.

Nobody knows how low bitcoin price is going to go, but we should know it’s going to bounce back, so it’s better we just keep on accumulating as the price goes down, or we should just keep on holding the bitcoin in our wallet if we don’t have money to accumulate more.
They don't have to worry with the price because the price will not stay at lower forever. They will see the time for Bitcoin to increases so they just need to wait for that while they buy Bitcoin according their plan.

Owen Gunden, an early Bitcoin investor, sold 11,650BTC through Kraken for around $1,16 billion between 10/2025 -3/2026.
https://finance.yahoo.com/markets/crypto/articles/bitcoin-price-news-two-early-162824070.html

another wallet holding 5kBTC that had been acquired in 2012 also started selling in 2024, with the last of those bitcoins being sold in early 2026, generating nearly $500 million in profit.
https://coinpedia.org/crypto-live-news/bitcoin-price-usd-early-whale-sells-final-1000-btc-secures-434-million-profit/

or there was also a 13year old whale wallet that sold its final 1k BTC, worth around $71,6 million, in march this year.
https://www.theblock.co/news/markets/2026-03-20-from-13700-to-148-million-bitcoin-whale-moves-2100-btc-untouched-for-over-13-years-394488

you forgot that Strategy is selling Bitcoin? if they keep selling and start selling larger amount, bitcoin could absolutely hit a new bottom.

We've seen corporate companies selling, but they're taking profits. Weaker investors sometimes even sell at a loss.
Ultimately, we can describe now as a discount period for Bitcoin, so whether you're a weak investor or a strong one, it's a good time to buy. At almost half the price of 127k, we can actually see it as a 50% discount.
Of course, it could fall even further, but considering the 127k price, it seems attractive to me.

Although if we have to observed, each bear market is very different and as time goes by, we might have matured as it become less severe in terms of percentage.

However, we can't say that 55% might be the number for this year, or 57k is the bottom. And if we look again at the historical logs, the final and the lowest low could be seen in Q4 2026.
There's a pattern when it comes to the actual percentage drop for the price of Bitcoin during the bear market.
If you will compare to the percentage drop during the 2018 and 2022 bear market, there's a drop. In 2018, Bitcoin dropped to as low as 85%, but in 2022, it dropped only by 77% and I know that it's just a small sample size, but if that continues, we might be seeing a much lower drop for Bitcoin. Heck the 55% drop that we've seen might be the low of this bear market. We don't know of course. Smiley

Bitcoin is up 1% month to date which is a bit surprising knowing we are in the mid of August already - a month where it has been a bearish month for Bitcoin. I agree with what you said though that every bear market is different and the same thing could be applied to bull market. There's a chance that we've already seen the bottom, or we might've not. One thing must be done though if you're an investor - accumulate as many Bitcoin as possible. Wink

I still predict that the bear market will end in October of 2026, so there's a chance that we might see the low there before it gradually recovers.

The same way holding through the time of bear not being for everyone, the same way as holding through the time of bull as both seasons comes with it's challenges but overcoming it until your expected target should be the goal, as it will give you a different feeling of fulfillment. I can never forget series of stories of those who sold way too soon in the past, i know that some must have made few profits while others at lost and they all ended in regrets because Bitcoin is doing pretty well, the storyline would have been different if they were more patient and that alone should be something one can learn from and stick to a plan that will leave a good memories.

We cannot do anyhow or as we like in Bitcoin especially when we are investing or trading, we must follow some desirable pattern as our own strategy to place us on a better edge to make more profit than losses.

We can also join the strong hands by the little way we are starting to build our portfolio until we can also be able to make a significance impact over the market by any decision we are taking, we can also achieve all this if we plan towards buying at every market fall and selling at every market pump.

All your ideas here doesn't show the the characteristics of a holder that should prioritize holding unto his bitcoin investment, but rather you are here  talking of buying when the market is down and selling off your Bitcoin investment when the value have gone up, is that what developing a strong holding hands mean to you?

Your idea here shows that you are more of a trader that values making quick profit in the market than holding patiently until your investment is ripe.

That's also an idea for the investors. We tend to buy whenever the market is down and a time will come that we decide if we should start selling. But I think when people say that they should sell, it's about taking profit but they're not going to sell everything that they have. There's a misconception about that and as an investor or a trader, it's normal to take profits and they probably have been in their moments of having a strong hands when the market in the past was so low and harsh and yet, they survived. I guess everyone has their own story on how they've dealt with the past bear markets.

Are the strong hands holding while the weak ones are selling at a loss? Is this the actual scenario?

Not everyone will hold Bitcoin for a long time, but those who will sell Bitcoin at this crucial time are basically fools. This is a good time to put Bitcoin away and an opportunity to increase investment has arisen, so it is necessary to increase Bitcoin holdings to prepare yourself because it will be possible to take advantage of the next opportunity.
There are some investors who are afraid to invest in Bitcoin and do not have the courage to hold it for a long time, they basically sell it at a loss.

The early adopters of Bitcoin are still holding their assets to this time will not selling, while the weak investors are selling at a loss, not being able to afford holding for a longer period of time. Now, if the same holders have to continue in this process without selling and eventually imagine a 30-day change, does it signify we are already going to experience the bottom?

Look, there are big whale investors in Bitcoin investment, where even if there are no small investors like us, there will still be a huge demand for Bitcoin. There have been a lot of investors in Bitcoin for a long time who have been able to hold on to it until now by holding large amounts of Bitcoin, so in this situation, you can definitely prepare yourself by establishing a relationship with long-term Bitcoin investment. This is the only truth, because it is through Bitcoin investment that it will be possible to be successful in the future.

Whether you’re a trader or an investor, the end goal of the both of you is to make profit from the market. If the person is after buying when the market is low and selling when the market is high and it works for them, then I see no problem with that. Not everyone has a strong hand to hold onto bitcoin for a very long time but when you do, you’ll reap the reward more than the person who just invest for the short term and take profits. Like in buying when the market is low and selling quickly at the best possible profit they can make from the market. Everyone will like to do what works for them and they shouldn’t be scolded or disregarded for that.
