There was a decent boy in our small area, he was studying, no one knows how he got addicted to online games. He continued like this for a long time and he also played gambling, later he borrowed money from many people's jobs and used it to gamble. After going on like this for a long time, suddenly that person became so addicted that his memory became weak, as a result, many creditors are coming and gathering.
He has become heavily indebted and has also borrowed money from many places depending on interest. Finally, after he became heavily indebted, he almost went crazy, so I say how harmful online gambling is, it has happened secretly, not many people outside know. So people thought he was a decent boy, under the guise of being decent, he got addicted to online gambling and pushed his life towards destruction.

Now the end result of this person is the destruction of his career, so if a person is secretly gambling, it is definitely best to stay away from the signs of addiction. Look at how people's lives are being destroyed by online gambling, can he recover?
Seeing student studying and looking innocent or secretly gambling online to the extend of borrowing that huge amount of money, i will say it is out of self discipline because the art of being crazy all in the name of addiction in gambling, is something that gamblers should prevent from the moment the primary stages and just consider gambling as funs, not a means of being rich and if on the process of gambling you are able to hit a huge amount of money, it is very understandable than placing all sources in gambling, it is believe that an addicted gambler can do anything just gamble consistently, i love as OP was able to drop such a interesting story for we to take precautions as a gambler.

As long as he still has life and living, there is nothing that is impossible. He should just stop gambling, knowing already that no money is coming from it, he will see his life changed for better. About his dept, his family can help him and no need to blame him for what happened. What happened to him already would have taught him a lesson that gambling is not for making money.
this is probably one of the most popular topics being discussed about gambling everywhere. That gambling is not a money making venture but was designed for entertainment and fun purposes. Once you begin to shift your focus and mindset from taking gambling for what it originally is to making money, such derailments are what lead people to making huge mistakes that cause them huge losses like this. I hope he’s not already become addicted to the extent he can’t quit easily and that’s why it is important not for the family to only help him pay back the debts but to also help him from psychology recovery process.

...So people thought he was a decent boy, under the guise of being decent, he got addicted to online gambling and pushed his life towards destruction.

It has nothing to do with, 'decency', he likely didn't know any better how disastrous gambling can be, started to gamble and unfortunately got addicted. I'd go with more like, 'gullible'.

Quote
can he recover?

I like to think with will power and support anything is achievable. I'd usually not say, 'support' cause I dislike any kind of dependency but I have only realized worth of, 'support' as of late — it's immensely important. May the boy have right people.

You can find (or make up) a story about every kind of thing being bad for you. What's usually the key takeaway from the story is doing too much of something can ruin the experience and in some cases your life. This guy had many actions across many days that he could have decided to stop, but people decide to continue on. That is called a lack of self control and accountability for your actions. Addiction can be tough to overcome, there should be no doubt about that, but if you let yourself be trapped in this cycle then it is hard to have sympathy. You just need to find a reason not to do it and to avoid letting boredom be your excuse, because sometimes in life you just have to accept that it's boring which makes the other fun parts more interesting.

It's not possible to assure what was the motivation of the boy to gamble without knowing him personally and his story of life. The fact he kept borrowing money is shocking, because even though he was facing loss after loss, he kept repeating the same pattern expecting different results. It's important to understand why he acted like that.

Anyway, it's always possible to recover. What he has to do now is to organize his life, stay away from gambling and probably reschedule the debt to be paid. Probably it's not going to be easy and quick, considering he took loan after loan, but it's not impossible too.

Now the end result of this person is the destruction of his career,
I’ve also experienced what it’s like to be addicted to gambling. A lot of pressure came and it really made me quite frustrated, especially because of financial problems. But not everything is ruined, just like with that boy. If he has a strong desire to change his life, I think it’s not impossible to bounce back.
He’s still young and there are many life paths he can choose. But still, he and his parents need to deal with the issues related to the loans he took. The greater the pressure on the kid, it could indeed be dangerous for his future. Hopefully, that doesn’t happen.

The problem most gamblers have is lack of self control, a Gambler without self control is bound to enter problem, one of the major problem about gambler  is taken loan to gamble, loan is one of the reasons Gambler get frustrated, if a gambler can master the act of self control and gamble within his discretion and not above, then he is likely not to put himself into tight situation. Greed is another thing,  when they win enough that needs to quit, they keep Gambling till they spent all and it will lead to taking loan to gamble and loses thereafter.

There are tons of stories like this where online gambling addiction has ruined lives
What starts as entertainment can quickly spiral into financial, emotional and personal ruin
Addiction has been a problem so many gamblers have been trying to contain but it has not been easy for them to cope with the situation they have found themselves trying to make money by all means while fighting addiction. we can only cure addiction through discipline only. If it is easy to get ride if addiction, so many gambler may have never find themselves in such situation.

Is he still a student? If so, that means he is a minor, and the situation is deeply concerning he ought to be focusing on his studies and his future, yet gambling is destroying everything. I do not know how he was introduced to gambling, but two factors almost certainly played a role his environment or internet access.

The impact of gambling addiction is undeniably devastating. Now, the only question that matters is: can he recover? Recovery is certainly possible, provided there is strong determination and support from the adults around him to keep him away from anything that might link him back to gambling. A child his age does not need advice he needs tangible help. Smiley

Online gambling can easily make people addicted because it is very easy to access and it is easy to continue gambling without anyone knowing. I know a man who owned a shop next to my house. He was a very simple person and always gave good advice to everyone. But suddenly he became addicted to gambling and I don't know how he came to know about gambling. Later he ended up borrowing a lot of money from different people which became a very big amount. And at the last moment he sold his shop and ran away. He is still hiding and cannot come to his house because they are always looking for him when they get money from him. Gambling addiction damages a person very badly and breaks his economic structure badly.

Once you become addicted to gambling, it becomes very difficult to come back from it. And as the addiction increases, the amount of debt also increases. And mental stress damages a person physically a lot. If gambling addiction was only about financial losses, then it would be accepted just thinking that it will be possible to earn income in the future. A person addicted to gambling stay woke up  all night betting. Even if there is a loss, they cannot sleep, just like if there is a profit, they cannot sleep due to excessive greed. In this way, staying woke up all night, when the addiction reaches the final stage, the debt amount becomes very high, then there are many who leave their family and area and stay far away. At that time, they cannot sleep due to excessive worries. Because when a person is separated from his family and society and suffers from depression due to so much debt in his thinking , it becomes difficult for him to be physically well. And every person who is addicted to gambling suffers some kind of things .  WHO report says that about 5.5% of women and 11.9% of men suffer some kind of harm from gambling. This includes physical, economic and psychological long-term harm. Therefore, when a responsible person realizes that his gambling is not about entertainment but about greed and addiction, he should refrain from gambling.

He has his self to blame for this and not gambling. No body forced him to gamble, he did it willingly, it is now left for him to know how to gamble or rather I would say gamble responsibly to avoid any negative effect on him. When people tend to misuse things, it will affect them negatively.
So now the only solution he needs is help from how to stay away from gambling for the time being, so he can pay up his debts.

He can recover from it, as long as he’s dedicated and determined to stop gambling. Now that people are aware of his conduct, his family should first make the move to stop those close to him from giving him loans and plead for time so that they can also clear all the loans that he owns while monitoring him closely and making sure he doesn't have contact with anything that has to do with gambling ever again.

Gambling is not for under age, don't borrow to gamble, let's go back when we discuss about gamble and not stories of underage gambling who went ahead to borrow and collect money from people.
We all by now know all this are not legal or right and if you know the boy you can go and report the case to those in charge of child welfare or the Police.

Wow. Gambling starts as a tiny little peanut butter. And then grows into a cake. It's a gradual process and more often, those signs are usually ignored. For me, the one I think it very common is when someone thinks he or she can make it through gambling. Maybe some news of someone making a couple bands in gambling or maybe it happened to them. That's where it starts from. It always builds from there. And it's easy to prevent it. Stop seeing gambling as a scheme to escape poverty.

Now one might say what about those that are well to do and still got addicted to gambling. There's is different. Mostly it's people that lure them in or they very excited about some couple of wins or just direct access to funds and they don't care. One should just have self control. That's what can prevent most of these things.

If there is a relative who has a lot of money and wants to help him seeing his situation then only that person can be saved from this situation.

Imo, amount of his debt is not big problem at all. He may pay off his debt one day or another, may even sell his asset to pay them off.

I think actual problem is that many addicted gambler believe that just one more big win could pay off all his debt. Such misconception keep them stuck in same cycle again and again. So even if someone from his family lend him money again, I am pretty sure he won't use that money to pay off creditors. Instead he will see it as another opportunity to get back money he lost.

Until he realizes that gambling is not solution to his financial problem, he will not improve.

Yes, those who fully understand this issue and can limit themselves to it do not become addicted to gambling. And those who cannot limit themselves on this issue, but see gambling as a means of earning, move towards addiction in the future and their lives go towards destruction. Mental control of a person is the most important in gambling. Those who fail to control themselves for earning will fall into the trap and will suffer a lot financially. Of course, for a person addicted to gambling, if he is mentally healthy, he will have to control many things in his family and hang out with friends. If he goes into addiction by gambling on debt, then those days will have to be paid off gradually and that person will be brought back to a normal life. If the family's position is good, it is possible to bring back a gambling addict, but if the family's financial position is bad, it will not be possible, rather the family will continue to suffer.

Now the end result of this person is the destruction of his career, so if a person is secretly gambling, it is definitely best to stay away from the signs of addiction. Look at how people's lives are being destroyed by online gambling, can he recover?
He can recover from it, as long as he’s dedicated and determined to stop gambling. Now that people are aware of his conduct, his family should first make the move to stop those close to him from giving him loans and plead for time so that they can also clear all the loans that he owns while monitoring him closely and making sure he doesn't have contact with anything that has to do with gambling ever again.
But it depends on him, does he want to change? Does he want to enjoy a good life? Does he want to get out of gambling? Or does he still have a weakness for gambling?

The first step for him to change is to get out of gambling completely and hope. First he has to get out of gambling, then he has to start a job, because he is now in debt and he has to pay off the debt, maybe the amount of debt is very big, but in any case, even if he works himself and gets help from his family, he will definitely have to pay off the debt.

He will get out of gambling completely, and he will be debt-free by paying off the debt in any way, and from then on he will focus on himself. He has to work to get himself in a good position, have a job, do business, do good work, that's how he has to create a good life now. There is no other way, and gambling has to be removed from his life.

This thought comes to earn at a very young age and if he is not successful in it, it will be difficult for him to give back the loan he has taken and this can also make him depressed and this will also affect his studies and he will also be under a lot of tension. Such a thought is always given with greed and so far casinos are coming with a lot of greed and they mislead people in the cycle of reward and confiscate their money. And those boys who had borrowed money to earn something get trapped in the cycle of fulfilling it with more money. Gambling is not a daily source for anyone. Those people who are earning something from gambling every day are only a little because if they grow from it, they will suffer losses. Even if money comes daily, it is a very bad addiction because they will play every day and on the day when there is no profit, the money will be spent and it will all be lost.

I don't know why many are finding it difficult to be a responsible gambler, it is clearly showing that anything will fail to do in the right way will definitely Hunt after us later in life, gambling was intended to make us have fun, but I will behavior towards it will choose on whether to achieve this same goal or to be affected negatively from gambling, responsible gambling is not difficult to achieve once we can maintain high discipline for ourselves, this is all about being able to have emotional control and also set some realistic target towards how we are going to gamble responsibly.

It's like any other addiction, easy to get sucked in but a million times harder to get out. It's always easy for outsiders to not understand "why it's so difficult", yet that doesn7t make it easier for the ones involved. Gambling addiction is the fastest growing form of addiction in some countries, worse than drugs. Crazy right? I mean nowadays it's so easy to gamble anywhere at any time, which obviously makes it hard to stay away from. And the worst part, kids get sucked in at an early age with stuff as "innocent" as video games these days. Very alarming!
