A degree doesn't guarantee success but at least education can open up wider opportunities and provide you with a broader knowledge base. Business still requires talent, skills, and perseverance but a combination of both is the best option. I mean, we can't discount education, even if it takes four years to regret, and not everyone has the same opportunities and luck. Sometimes, many people without education succeed in business, and vice versa. But what's certain is that if you pursue both seriously, you can succeed.
There's nothing wrong with starting a business, but you shouldn't shy away from earning a degree. Everyone has their own strengths, and you can certainly reflect on your own strengths. If you have business skills, starting a business is a good option, but if you don't have the skills to do business, it's better to focus on education and then you can decide to open a business. Because managing a business is not an easy thing because it also requires talent and knowledge to be able to maintain your business.

For me personally, if I graduate from high school, I think I'll start a business right away to gain experience and lay my foundation. But even so, I won't abandon my education, so I'll start a business while I'm in college. I don't think there's anything wrong with that as long as we're capable. That way, I can absorb knowledge from two different sources: school and the business I've started. So, when I graduate,, I'll have a degree and my business might have grown a bit. So, I think that's what I'll do. That's what I did when I was younger, starting a small business while I was in school. So,, yes, this is just a choice, because it doesn't really matter whether people pursue education or start a business without school. The key is whether we can be consistent and whether we want to grow. That's my personal conclusion.
There's no need to leave your education, as starting a business while attending college doesn't have any impact. Moreover, during class hours your business can be managed by family or employees who work on-site to maintain it. That's why I'm saying this because I've had a similar experience, but my experience in managing both hasn't gone as I'd hoped. It's just that I wasn't prepared for college, due to several factors that prevented me from completing my studies even though I could have continued. However, because I was too immersed in my business, I ultimately chose to focus on my business which has given me a wealth of knowledge and experience. Because in business, I gained quite strong experience. In the first two years, we were hands-on unlike in college where we focused on theory before actually implementing it. This is why I chose to drop out of college, especially since the tuition fees were quite high at the time. I preferred to simply increase the number of items to turn into profit.

yes, there's nothing wrong with starting a business instead of going to college. but that depend on your ability, resources and personal circumstances. don't start a business just because other people are doing it or think college is a waste of time. a college degree may not guarantee you a successful future, but remember that running a business has never been easy, and not everyone succeeds by taking that path. the reality is that most new businesses fail more often than they succeed. so before deciding to skip college and start a business, make sure your decision is based on your own preparation and ability, not on following trend or other people's success stories.

Most of those men went to business school after establishing their businesses, degree can wait, go for business, if had know this I won't had go to school without a successful business. In my county degree is just a prove that you went go college it doesn't add up because there's no job for degree holders.
Having a successful business first is the best approach to defeat poverty, business can be study in th shop or market without seeing the four walls of the university. Going to school for a degree after building businesses is a choice. Not a must and it will only help you to add more experience.
Numerous people are realizing this mindset late…saying that a degree can wait..and business first, well in a country where the educational system is full of errors I feel people consider jumping into business and neglecting the fact that a degree is proof to get full knowledge and a lot more…Now I'm not saying business is not a good idea to invest in but I feel no matter the business you still need education for more understanding, and one fact about it now is that people who are degree holders are now looking more like rats jumping into the hot sun looking for a job… And meanwhile our guys who started selling phones with little money at the age of 18 now has like 5 shops and the funny part of life is that he is even hiring degree holder, it now looking like having a degree might feed you in 1years time and business would feed you with consistency 2 months.

Its true that if you have no access to the means to maintain your studies, you should definitely go into business, because without financial solvency, it is impossible to advance your studies. Aside from that, nowadays we have to face another reality in getting a job, which is bribes; unless you have bribery, you will not get a job; this type of situation has made it even more difficult.
That is why if you have the financial means, it is better to continue your education, it is extremely vital, but if your financial condition is not very good, start a business right away, it will provide a solid foundation for you throughout the future.

I rather choose to own a degree and start a business because there are some business you want to venture into that requires you gaining some levels of Education, while others doesn't as you can just start especially when you have the capital at hand.
I know most successful business people who are not degree holders, but then having both can still do you a lot of good, as it exposes you to different learning and experiences and also helps to enlighten you the more.
In a society where the government has failed with their promises of securing Jobs for her citizens once your done with school, the only thing left is for people to start doing business. I know the number of times I applied for Jobs and nothing worked out and right now I'm into business. I prefer business but then getting a degree if you have the resources to pursue it till the very end isn't bad.

Sometimes people who own personal business seek to acquire degree to enable them do better in their business, and some people also acquire this degree, and go into business without seeing the need to seek for job. Owing a business is very important, and can enable one's financial growth very speedily if the business is probably handled. If you don't have a degree, and you deem it necessary to go into business, there is nothing wrong, but to do better, it is necessary you engage in some business skills possibly learn about the kind of business you want to go into, and will help to widen your knowledge. Some people go to school to learn about business, and honestly the knowledge of these people who go to university to learn about business is quite different from how a lay man see businesses, and in comparison, those who engage in business education are better when we talk about exterblshing a business, and handling it properly.

According to the education system of my state, it is very difficult to get a job. But I think getting an education is not only for getting a job. Rather, self knowledge and the skills to manage oneself properly are acquired. I know many people who are now doing business after completing their graduation. According to them, there are more graduates than jobs these days. So consider doing business as the best way without spending time behind the job. I think it is very difficult to do business without acquiring knowledge. Although gradually all individuals acquire skills. But getting a degree is very important because it creates a variety of skills.

The rate of unemployment has eaten up the educational sector too, people no longer put education as their top priority. Most people would say they’re only interested in the degree for degree sake and when they graduate they would delve into business and not practice their profession.I have a friend who’s graduating this year and he usually tells me that he’s only interested in the degree because if by chance he receive an employment to work for the government he would use he’s certificate but anything other than has got nothing on him and he’s a chef he was thinking of establishing a restaurant. The essence of everything is acquire a skill and if you’re interested in furthering your education you can do so.

There are lots of people that still value getting a degree but the fact here is that this doesn't over shadow the importance of having a business. Having a degree gives you some advantage when it comes to opportunities in life but this doesn't guarantee success in any way. Not everyone that's into business actually has a degree, a lot of them dropped out of school, this isn't to say that not graduating from college is the best way to go, you still need to acquire your degree but without having any sort of skill, business idea or investment plan might make it difficult for you to survive. If you live in third world countries getting a job after getting a degree is not really sure but having a business doesn't require any degree and also this builds financial independence.

Sured. The both business and going to university to acquire certificates are good irrespective of how everyone's thoughts maybe. Since we are laying emphases on university alone, there are people that are into business for long term and they only acquired secondary school certificate and primary certificate, so I believe if you are brilliant enough to know how to calculate a money right from secondary school, I don't think going to university is necessary again, because when we look at the aim of going to university, for some people they only go to acquire certificates and replaying on Government pay job, while some are just attending the university just to set records that they also have degree on ground. In my own opinions, prefer doing a business than going to university especially if your family aren't capable to sponsor you. I can't imagine how many degree holders we are having on ground without securing any job yet. So what's the hesense of going having degrees without securing a job? Business is far more better.

I believe that, since an academic degree no longer guarantees income the way it used to, people are more inclined to take risks on their own businesses; furthermore, for some, there is no longer a need to attend college to acquire knowledge, as access to information and the vast amount of available content have made that process easier.

I am not against taking a degree if you can afford it. Then rather than start a job, it’s always better to focus on a business. A degree is necessary, although not mandatory; the smarter you become, the smarter business you can do as well. But unfortunately everyone can’t think the same way; they usually start a job, and from there some people start a business later.
We also need some skill besides knowledge. You can be educated by getting a degree, but you also need to develop skills. It would be either joining a job or starting a small business and then growing slowly. Everything can’t happen so fast at all; need patience.
You are quite right. A person should not rely on only one path, but should change within himself according to the circumstances and try to find opportunities. A job is a good source in its own right, but if a person has hard work and a desire to do something better and better, then business can also be a good source. Doing business also requires hard work, planning . There may be difficulties in its beginning, but they are lessons for the betterment of a person. Thus, getting a degree is not enough, but using knowledge in life and acquiring new skills is a skill. Over time, hard work, passion and patience take a person to where he wants to go.
