Perhaps in 10 to 20 years, my neighborhood will be even more bustling. Data shows a higher birth rate, which means demand for housing will also increase. So, it's no surprise that housing prices will continue to rise year after year. In the last 10 years alone, we can see the population growth rate.
This has been an increasing issue in a lot of countries around the world. There is no population control, and this causes a lot of issues in the long-term because when there is no proper control over the population and people aren't advised to take care of this, problems such as a higher demand for accommodation and housing increase over time, but people and even governments often overlook this issue and don't give it much importance.
Even in our country, the prices of houses and properties keep increasing over time, and so is the population, which means that after a decade or so, both the prices of properties and houses as well as the population will be touching the sky. Places which used to be open fields in the past are now getting turned into housing schemes, and this is all because of the rising population.
Governments need to run campaigns and spread awareness among people regarding this to control it.
The impacts are significant. We can see land conversion, with oxygen-producing forests being converted into housing and other forms of housing. This is a problem that requires immediate solutions. Although the government in my country has launched a "2-Child-Is-Better" program, the reality is that many people ignore it.
It's no surprise, then, that natural disasters occur everywhere, many of which are caused by humans. In my country, landslides, floods, and other disasters occur almost every year, and the cause is environmental degradation. One factor contributing to this is the exploding population.
