Housing is becoming unaffordable across the world

House rent is a global concern, the landlords are becoming something else, they are just after money. Without consideration,  some landlords will not renovate the building or any maintenance but they will increase rent every year.

As citizens we have to use our heads in every situation,  we must survive it, in you're new in a city don't stay in the city central, go to a place where you can afford for the moment till you level up don't put yourself unnecessary pressure for house rent, rent within your earn. It's not getting easier,  save to build your personal house, to avoid rent, that should be your dream.

Although to an extent I don't blame them for there actions in rent increment because the price of commodities now is uncontrollably high that the market can no longer be predicted.
In my country today the amount needed to build any apartment is 4 times that of what it used to be years back and the only way of getting it back is by increasing the cost of rent. I know many may be tempted to ask if am in full support of this increment of rent but am of the opinion that the government needs to intervene are help in reducing the cost of commodities so it can be easy for a common man to get his own house.

Perhaps in 10 to 20 years, my neighborhood will be even more bustling. Data shows a higher birth rate, which means demand for housing will also increase. So, it's no surprise that housing prices will continue to rise year after year. In the last 10 years alone, we can see the population growth rate.

This has been an increasing issue in a lot of countries around the world. There is no population control, and this causes a lot of issues in the long-term because when there is no proper control over the population and people aren't advised to take care of this, problems such as a higher demand for accommodation and housing increase over time, but people and even governments often overlook this issue and don't give it much importance.

Even in our country, the prices of houses and properties keep increasing over time, and so is the population, which means that after a decade or so, both the prices of properties and houses as well as the population will be touching the sky. Places which used to be open fields in the past are now getting turned into housing schemes, and this is all because of the rising population.

Governments need to run campaigns and spread awareness among people regarding this to control it.

The impacts are significant. We can see land conversion, with oxygen-producing forests being converted into housing and other forms of housing. This is a problem that requires immediate solutions. Although the government in my country has launched a "2-Child-Is-Better" program, the reality is that many people ignore it.

It's no surprise, then, that natural disasters occur everywhere, many of which are caused by humans. In my country, landslides, floods, and other disasters occur almost every year, and the cause is environmental degradation. One factor contributing to this is the exploding population.

Every generation has had the same complaint but there has definitely been a growing divergence between wages and house prices. It seems inevitable with the colossal population growth and immigration that we see in most countries. Poorer countries have an overpopulation problem and will often have many people living in very small accommodation which they would be lucky to have any hope of owning along with the land it sits on. Richer countries constantly have housebuilders claiming that they're building x million homes, yet we always seem to have a struggle of not enough new accommodation. I think in some of those countries people saw what happened with Covid and actually don't like going for apartments any more, but rather jumping straight to a house (albeit with minuscule gardens), which puts creates pressure to build actual houses instead of compact multi home buildings.

Why is the topic name so categorical, OP? If housing is unaffordable, then who's buying it?And I do not know what happened in your country before, but in my country housing has always been expensive, and it is disproportionate to compare the cost of housing and wages. At what time did you plan the purchase? For what period? How much should your apartment cost? There are a lot of useless questions, since everyone knows that loans exist in countries or people independently accumulate the amounts required to buy a home.

I will say more: for those who do nothing, naturally buying a home becomes an impossible goal. However, there are other people who know how to work and think and have more than one apartment or house but even rent out the housing that they do not need at some point.

Can this be called inaccessible? Or is the problem in the person?

Reducing the cost of building materials and other consumables goods in the country, and it will make the landlords, landlady's and consumers in the country to reduce the price of housing, land and goods and services to allow the citizens to have peace of mind in their their environments, some of the countries that is not experiencing what other citizens are experiencing today are those countries that have governments who don't care about their citizens living because they know what their citizens are going through which is their responsibility to reduce the price of every product in the country but they failed to do what is right.
