Just to be clear Gambling is no BAD.
I go through topics and replies, some just talk of gambling like it's some type of awful activity and shouldn't be done by people.
But that's actually wrong. Gambling is not bad, I wouldn't say it's good as well, it's literally just an activity and it completely okay for someone to gamble as long as your above age 18.

As long as everything is in moderation, I believe that is the balance between the good and the bad. People tend to lost that fun when they're losing but even that shouldn't be the cause as well that it should be bad, it's just people can't manage it well for themselves and a lot are guilty on this. Being 18 doesn’t mean that the person is emotionally mature to go gamble responsible, and again about the legal gambling age it won’t really solve the addiction problem. This because there are still people at the age  30 abd above that are still struggling with addiction.

But nevertheless the biggest issue should be a proper awareness of risk, self control and also having a proper gamblining habits, no doubt age can also be of help to reduce risk to some extend but being disciplined about your financial responsibilities it what will determine what makes this gambling a entertainment or a problem

Gambling is not bad and I agree with you but don't allow yourself to internalize the illusion of gambling for entertainment because that can affect you negatively with time. The gambling industry is another big and fast-growing industry with investment in billions of dollars so with this type of money involved, you can see that you could make some real cash from gambling if you treat it like a business. In all you have explained about gambling, This paragraph got me laughing. Surely gambling is not bad but people make it look bad, just like you said that it shouldn't be taken too seriously. If people can just gamble without being overly excited and taking it to heart, they wouldn't have seen it as a bad thing. Inasmuch as there is a risk-to-reward factor in gambling activities, twill be difficult to segregate the entertainment part from the reward / money-making part. Where the potential reward can range from ~2x to even a 100x and above, a lot of people will see it as a means to make some money risking little. Now, it might seem like you're risking little to gain more (even though with time these little risks compound into something huge), as time goes on, you'll find yourself trickling down the slope into addiction.

This is the point it becomes dangerous, the point you'd be willing to bet your last dime and go hungry, the point where you'd rather be in debt than lose a gambling opportunity, the toxic point, this is the red zone in gambling.

Yes, gambling is a fun activity for everyone but those who consider it as a source of income aren't understanding the real purpose of gambling which is entertainment only. It's like trying our luck by playing our favorite games if we win we can take that money with us if we lose we should still not take that as loss because we should focus on entertainment aspect of it not money making aspect of it.

One should first learn about gambling responsibility as that is mandatory and also one should not gamble everyday but only do it when he/she wants to enjoy sometime and one should put limited amount for gambling that shouldn't impact their lives in anyway. There's nothing wrong or bad in gambling, what makes it look bad is the way people misuse it. Even when sign up to gambling site, they often show people theirs terms and conditions which are you must be over 18, whatever outcome you get isn't their problem and gamble responsibly. So they've given their own warning, it's now left to the user to use it properly.

This forum is even more neutral about gambling in terms of how they view it because if you check out other platforms where people tend to talk about gambling, what you will see is more of the ruins it has caused people and how worse it has made them become rather than the good it has done for them.

Every gambling platform will always tell gamblers to go about it in a responsible way but yet, they will always choose to do what they want to and when they loose, it's all coming bad to painting it all on gambling as though they were forced into it. If you're a responsible gambler, you won't be addicted to gambling because because you won't be chasing after wins as though you're certainly going to get it just because you're chasing after it.

It's better off not started though since it's easy to go wayward in it. You see the story ^[1] that was posted about a boy couple days ago (I question the veracity of it though, as of every story posted here) or the story ^[2] from Reddit that I posted a while back ( although it's deleted from Reddit now but still TLDR should give you an idea).

Yes it's wrong to blame gambling for your lack of control, the problem was never gambling itself but people who engage in gambling without no self control.

That's why we always see people blaming online casinos for their own mistakes and decisions after losing alot of money, but I guess that some of the blame also comes from people who had a wrong meaning of gambling in the first place.

The litrally just offer their services and advertise for people to use them. They don't force anybody to gamble. They are a business, and a business wants to make a profit; that is why they advertise, because the more people play in the casino, the more money they make. This is also a risk for them because when people win, they lose money. So, except that the casino is not provably fair and is cheating, both parties have risks. It's even fairer with sports betting because the casino has no hand in the outcome of the game. So it's up to the bettor to pick the right options and make money or lose money while the casino makes money. I don't see the role you expect from the casino when it comes to responsible gambling. It's the player than has to make all the decisions.

Show me where someone on here talk about gambling been awful and he told people not to gamble again? Maybe I missed it because honestly vibe not come across such comments on here, every partial talk about gambling is someone warning other gamblers not to go too deep in gambling to avoid addiction.

It's okay for people to gamble but it's not ok for them to do it every time, it's for their own good and if this feels like too much of an advice it's as free world, everyone is free to do whatever they like, it's always when it's too late that people realise one thing about gambling, that gambling isn't meant for someone like them.
