Investors Will you sell if your Bitcoin profits are guaranteed in future?

I would say it is not advisable to sell your bitcoin during bear market, and when you sell during the bear market, you are actually loosing in your investment. I know there is always fear when bitcoin price is going down, and the newbies or the unknowledgeable investors don't always like it as they expect the bitcoin market to remain bullish all time. At present Bitcoin is gradually going down, and I think some investors are selling, but at the same time, the real bitcoin investors are rather accumulating more bitcoin using DCA. With time, there will be Bitcoin price reversal, and it won't continue growing down, there will be a time when the price of bitcoin will become bullish, and 4x-5x of your initial investment will be possible, and that will be for patient, and long term investors.

I don’t see why someone would invest in bitcoin and then decide to sell because of the price is going down, my question is that why do the person invest in bitcoin from the beginning when they don’t have the mind of seeing the price falling down? Or is it that they don’t  understand bitcoin before they buy it?  Because i don’t understand why people react when the price of bitcoin falls, if you can not handle how bitcoin works and how the market works then you should not buy from the beginning.

Selling your bitcoin because of the price is falling is not a good idea, many people lose their money because they sell their bitcoin with any price without thinking they will not sell it with the price they bought it, a good investor that knows about bitcoin will never think of selling his bitcoin because of the price, he will not even panic because he has already known how bitcoin works, anyone trying to invest in bitcoin should know more about bitcoin before making decision.

Anyway, there is no 100% guarantee that you will make a profit in the long run; the only thing that motivates people to hold more Bitcoin is because of the cycle and historical data on Bitcoin.

So out of fear, doubt etc some Investors sell their coins especially now that the market is a low price, -to some it's really not encouraging, -while to some they see it a another opportunity to accumulate more and get a better position.

One thing that's sure i that we can't all have the same perspective about Bitcoin, and it's the perspective that we have that determines our decision about the BTC market.
However, it is not all Bitcoiners who sold during the dump market that make such a decision because they dont trust or have a guarantee about its future thrive. Some sell because of emergency funds

Meanwhile only the second should is supposed to be the case of a real investor. You know I just want to advise on how your mindset should be when it comes to investing especially when it has to do with Bitcoin, I do tell my self in times like this that my profits are guaranteed (even if they are not guaranteed, it's just a way to lead your mind) and with that in mind I have no thoughts of selling , instead I buy more to get a better position.

I can't say what everyone else will do, but in my case, if I get a good profit in the future I will definitely sell my Bitcoin and wait for a better opportunity to invest. Right now I have bought and held some Bitcoins from $62,000 so if I get double the profit from Bitcoin in the future, I will definitely sell my Bitcoin and hold some stablecoins to invest in. But I don't think Bitcoin will increase before 2029 in the future. However, I have planned my holding until 2032, but if I get a good profit in the market in the meantime, I will definitely sell my Bitcoin.

We can't assure the future of btc, even if we say we are getting good profits right now. We are just speculating for what may happen in this volatile market. Hence, don't go all in as it can ruin your savings. We can't expect that everything will steadily increase. And you will sell at the right time. So much better to have conservative estimates so you won't find yourself in a tight position in case you need urgent cash and the market is not looking good.

And besides, no one has the crystal ball to tell you that you will have guaranteed profits in the future. Everyone is just speculating on this market. So the decision whether to sell or not is all on you, how you perceive this market in the coming years.

What's the point of selling at this price when there's a bigger profit ahead of you in the future. Bear market is a threat for weak hands and it's only them that panic and sell while, the golden hands see it as an opportunity to stack more coins at a cheaper price. Have a long term investment mindset in order for you not to get distracted by what's happening in the market.

What I understand is that buying and selling is ultimately a personal choice. The people who are holding ultimately having a goal in their mind what to do with their coins. Majority of people are here to make money and you can understand that their personal choices will not get written here unless they want to.

You have to assume that people are going to sell when they profit, a reasonable way to approach this is that you sell coins when the market is going to the next all-time-high and buy back when the bear market hits. Just dont do the opposite which panicked traders often do and end up losing money.

Investment will have to main tasks: accumulation by buying and take profit by selling. Most of threads are about buying, accumulating, buying dips, buying with DCA but less talk about take profit.

Like if in a next bull run, Bitcoin break the 2024 -2025 cycle all time high, and make a new ATH about x2 from that or even a little bit lower, it is very good to consider taking profit with a part of your portfolio. If you don't want to take profit all, take it partially and you can do it with next cycles too.

Personal decision differs based on the current dilemma that we're facing. If it reaches to $200k up to $1M. It's impossible that there won't be sellers whether it's with the little they own or they'd do it to sell everything that they own. We can't tell what can be the situation we'll face in the future. Very easy to say that our stance is to hold for a long term but there's an end to that long term. It will come, it might not be a couple of years or so but someday you'll just click on that and will take your deserving profits.
