On the recent news of immigrants massively assaulting the border with Spain in North Africa:

- This is an attack on Spain by Morocco.
- This is not the first time they use this tactic.
- It is sad that a country weaponizes economic immigration from their own citizens.
- It is perhaps even worse that the EU right wing is ok to attack their own allies on behalf of Israel and the US.

Note: It is not the first time the US tries to influence Spanish elections. They recently send to the Spanish judiciary a report on an ex-president - which does not seem to go anywhere.

It is very sad that some EU leaders are OK to attack their closes allies. Perhaps they think they would be better off if Trump does his will in the EU. Why do you think Trump hates the EU? Very simple: it is big enough to tell him go f** your self.

But this is true even in Spain. One of the main opposition leaders would put the blame in the government, rather than actually saying anything about Morocco:

Quote
“Sánchez allows Spain to be invaded through Ceuta,” Spanish conservative politician Isabel Díaz Ayuso wrote on X.

https://apnews.com/article/spain-ceuta-migration-66839d113f24ba80d08b36d2b337201c

First: Debunking the stupid:

1) Ceuta an Melilla are not in Morocco. They are in Spain and are one of the many autonomous regions, with representation in the Spanish government institutions.

Despite being in the tip of North Africa, they are as much in Spain as Hawaii is a State of the US, Alaska or for that matter any of the Sates that were stolen from the French, The Spanish and the American Natives and are now US.

If anyone has any doubt, just go for a referendum, you will find how little appetite is there to be "part of Morocco".

Second, understanding what this is about: Israel.

Yes, this is about Trump, Israel and their ally Morocco. I understand this may come as a surprise to some.

The Spanish government has been in talks with Argelia - traditional enemy of Morocco, to create a gas line bypassing Morocco.
The Spanish government has been very vocal about the Israeli atrocities in Gaza and has a diplomatic conflict with the current Israeli government.
The Spanish government has been clear on not raising the military spending to 5% in NATO.

All this is contrary to the politics of the US.

It also happens that some governments in Europe are unhappy about having a Socialist government in Spain that speaks quite openly. Europe is not calling for anything, the right wing in Europe is trying to push their agenda. As far as I know, they would rather attack a fellow member country on their  than defend the EU from the massive influence of US and Israel.

It is sad.

This is a point I also believe so far. The US and its allies have warned Spain long ago. Spain's bias and intransigence are considered a threat, and to teach them a lesson, the US and Israel are allowing Moroccan immigrants to Spain. This is no coincidence, as Morocco has strategic interests with the West.

I found this interesting article:
Quote
The Abraham Accords created a framework for reconfiguring Middle Eastern and North African alliances in ways that serve American and Israeli interests simultaneously. Helping Morocco recover Ceuta and Melilla would serve that framework and punish a NATO member that has repeatedly chosen obstruction over partnership at the alliance's most critical juncture. For Israel, amplifying Morocco's claim is not charity. It is strategic investment in the partner that, across the Strait of Gibraltar, holds the key to one of the world's most vital maritime chokepoints.

Morocco can't even conquer the Western Sahara that doesn't even have a government.

Morocco simply did some 'maneuvering' of its laws that resulted in the attack on Spain... which wasn't really and attack, but was simply internal organization that happened to have those results.

Unfortunately, that thread starts already biased and spreading misinformation such as "Melilla and Ceuta are in Morocco".

Cool

It is an attack for sure. Weaponization of immigrants just as it was done by Ruzzia with Finland and a couple of times before from Morocco to Spain.

But this is not about Morocco, it is about those promised f-35s from US to Morocco, Israel undermining Algeria and Spain... Honestly, with Trump it is the Israeli government imposing their agenda on Americans. In essence, the US is using taxpayers money to keep Netanyahu there, for no gain. It is sad to see democracy subverted like that.

I guess you would think differently if the Mexican government loaded 50.000 migrants in buses, drop them at the border and told them to run north.

All this is contrary to the politics of the US.

Warned, like in "you do as told or else"? Teaching a lesson, like "how do you dare to speak?" Spain bias and intransigence? You mean, Spain deciding what is their opinion on a genocide and how willing are they to contribute to the military industry of the US?? Trump has been clearly against the EU, for obvious reasons and now comes there for support or adhesion? F** that.

There is no respect for international law coming from either US or Israel, that is clear. All that has happened during the last two years would have been unthinkable before and has damaged world peace and relations permanently.

Now, I do not care for US opinion and Israel's need to destroy all neighbours because "their book says so". I however wish to warn the EU about what it means to attack fellow members.

The article can be read from the other side it is absolutely in EU's interest to have both sides of the strait of Gibraltar under one member country. Those lame politicians attacking Spain from the EU are just attacking the whole position of Europe just to get some attention to themselves. So short-sighted, it is shameful.

Morocco is controlling 80% of Western Sahara but which I do not like that. It would have been better for Morocco not to cause fight and let Western Sahara be a country of its own.

You can correct me on the thread, but I was using it to explain that the two cities are in Africa and not in Spain.

I guess you would think differently if the Mexican government loaded 50.000 migrants in buses, drop them at the border and told them to run north.
What happened was that the Moroccans were deceived that the border to Spain has been opened and that people can come from other countries. It happened on social media and they believe and find all means to enter those cities so they can get into Spain. They said they are ready to go to Spain or other European countries, that they want to leave Morrocco which they see as not good compared to Europe.

If you want to explain their are in Africa, then say they are in Africa.

There are videos of the Moroccan police loading immigrants in trucks to send them over, they made no secret of it. Most of them went back, the Spanish law is actually not really that permissive as one may think.

I fully understand those flying Morocco. The country is fascinating, but so many of them are poor and unemployed that is also sad. The problem as I see it is that Europe cannot bring half of Africa in because the system collapses. Migrants think that stuff is rosy in Europe, but it is not. You need to be qualified or have supporting family or you won't make your living.

Immigration is fine, regulation is absolutely necessary.
