Twente defeating PSV 3-2 is not a huge surprise. We all knew it would not be an easy game for PSV. Both teams gave a good show. PSV dominated in ball possession (62%), but it was Twente that created more scoring chances, which converted into more goals.
That win means Twente has now the same points as PSV and they jumped above Ajax.

AZ are back at the top of the table after their modest 1-0 win over Telstar, and Feyenoord, who defeated Utrecht 5-0, are 2nd with two points behind.
So next round we're going to see a battle for 1st place, as Feyenoord is hosting AZ at home. Neither team has lost a league game this season, so it's going to be really interesting.

I also don't think Twente beating PSV is a surprise result; Twente is a team capable of contending for the top spot in the league. Currently, AZ Alkmaar sits at the top. Both Feyenoord and AZ remain unbeaten and are playing excellent football. It looks like the Dutch league will be highly competitive this season. I don't expect Twente to be in the title race, but PSV, AZ Alkmaar, and Feyenoord will engage in a fierce battle for the championship.
My favorite is PSV.

I’m not even surprised at the results at all, i watched the game, and I knew PSV would concede plenty of goals, it was just how clinical Twente can be. Twente are playing a very good style of play and they would cause any team problem, especially if they are playing at home. You are right, maybe Twente won’t win the league but I think they will be playing European competition next season.

My gamble on this game was GG+, and I was not even moved, because I knew it would happen. I still think PSV are still favorites to win the league just like you said, but they will need to step up their performance after the international break.

Unfortunately, matches from the Dutch league aren't broadcast where I live. I watch the highlights on YouTube after the games are over. I’ve had a soft spot for the Eredivisie for years; it’s a league where plenty of goals are scored and the excitement level is always high.
When I place bets, I usually pick PSV from this league. The Shakhtar match didn't go the way I wanted, but in October, I’ll be betting on PSV in both the league and the Champions League. My preference will be for "over" goal markets.

The truth is just that nobody believed that PSV Eindhoven will lose to Twente and that match failed many bettors because everyone sees PSV Eindhoven as an unstoppable team in the Eredivisie.

Wout Weghorst only played at Manchester United in 2023 through a loan deal and he isn't even any good striker because out of 31 matches he played at Manchester United he only scored 2 goals so there's nothing special about him despite scoring the leveling goal that gave Twente the morale to move forward and win PSV Eindhoven.

Next time if you are adding PSV matches to your bet just use the option of BTTS or over 2.5 goals so that you can be on the safer side because most of their matches ends with a high score and BTTS.

If you are someone who is familiar with the Eredivisie you would know that, FC Twente defeating PSV should not cause any surprises at all.This is because apart from the liked of Ajax, PSV and Feyenoord the next clubs that you are going to call is the liked of FC Twente. Even though Twente is not the the category of PSV on a good day they can play any team as far as the Netherland Eredivisie is concerned.

I knew that this game was definitely going to be a tough one for PSV, going by recent matches that FC Twente has played at the start of the season. Plus Twente was at home and that played a very huge role in this game, if am not forgetting Twente finished fourth on the league table last season. And played the Europa league qualifiers before losing out and will be playing in the conference league, which is a very impressive gorm from the home team and so anyone who thinks that, PSV were to have an easy game against Twente is not been realistic.

Don't beat yourself up over a lost bet.
We all know PSV will not finish with 100% win ratio. They will be losing points from time to time, and this was the type of game when them losing points was a highly probable option.
Twente shouldn't be underestimated. They have been finishing in the European cups zone for multiple seasons in a row now. In two out of the last 3 seasons, they finished above Ajax twice, so it wouldn't be wrong to consider Twente as a stronger team.
They are not there yet in terms of wealth and historical successes, but considering only the recent years, they are definitely one of the top Dutch clubs.
