Feyenoord will win this match, as they will not squander the opportunity they have while playing at home.

Above is an image of the latest odds, are we seeing doubts that Feyenoord will fail? Well, a loss is still possible if Feyenoord doesn't play up to expectations, but given the current condition, we shouldn't expect them to lose, because first place & the lead in the Eredivisie standings are already within their reach.

Feyenoord at home is a very strong team and the odd of 1.70 is a very good one for me. The game is just about to start now, if I had money to bet I would definitely bet hard on Feyenoord as rarely I have seen such big odds for them when playing at home, I have money but I am quitting gambling altogether and I am happy to not feel absolutely no need to deposit and play. Az is a strong team also but rarely they do perform well when playing outside their home, especially on strong teams like Feyenoord so I don't expect them to be a showstopper or danger for Feyenoord during tonight game. Again if you like an easier win other than money line bets then usually goals do happen in this league and over 2.5 or over 3.5 in the games between big teams is usually very much likely to happen.

The best option to bet on the match is both teams to score, this is safer than over 2.5.

Loosing before the international break is as far from guarantors as it would get. I get a bit skeptical on gambling on these kind of bets given that, players from the top tier teams are usually the ones that gets called upon, many of them come back worn out or injured and the team don’t get to a good start easily, you can always bet on PS. To win though.

They obviously are the better team and playing from home, they would always want to get all 3 points in this one.

3 points was almost inevitable. The only time that PSV has fumbled at home this season was their opening fixture of the season against Fortuna Sittard that ended 2-2. For yesterday's game, everyone expected them to win. What disappointed a lot of people was the fact that the game ended with less than 2.5 goals especially at PSV's home expected to be a high scoring affair as usual.

Yeah, I noticed Google is becoming less and less reliable when it comes to sports events. I noticed they often get UFC cards wrong, but I didn't expect they could mess up football games stats. Or maybe they are just using other sources, and it's not always easy to classify shots on goal (and differentiate them from crosses, strong passes etc), I don't know.

Barcelona has been in a fine form this season so the Feyenoord thrashing didn't come as a surprise to me. Even PSV gets beaten often when it comes to European UCL matches so it was expected for Feyenoord. It's even worse for them because they got the best team in Europe right now.


PSV won today by 2-0. Unfortunately, the match did not end with at least 3 goals for over 2.5 to be settled as a winner. I expected a high scoring affair but I don't know what happened.

I was of course expecting a Barcelona win, but still thought there would be more resistance. Conceding five goals is almost always implying a subpar performance. Getafe conceded three goals and I think Feyenoord should be at least as good as Getafe at the moment. I know these cross comparisons can't always be drawn between leagues and different competitions, but still, Feyenoord was in decent shape and yet they get destroyed against top teams from other leagues.

A big step for them today though as they could beat Alkmaar 2-0. A serious setback for Alkmaar in my opinion as this was the match that could have either been a nice confirmation of their great achievements this season in the domestic league so far, or disillusion them and it was the latter.

They are still good to go, but three points in this match would have been incredibly valuable. Now everything is extremely close at the top and if Ajax manages to get those three points, it's going to be an exciting few weeks.

Apart from the injuries that Ajax players have, we already know that Ajax have been very backward in the league for some seasons now. A match that they scored in the 7th minute, why couldn't they score another goal before full time.

Feyenoord might be topping the Eredivisie table but they won't be there for a long time because they will still end up being dethroned by either AZ Alkmaar or PSV Eindhoven. The only thing that caught my attention about Feyenoord is that they score a lot of goals and concedes less goals.

AZ Alkmaar may not continue the title race which means that Feyenoord biggest threat could be PSV Eindhoven.

People were asking themselves whether AZ can be considered a serious contender to the title. I think their loss today to Feyenoord showed they are not quite there yet.
While it wasn't a horrible performance by AZ, Feyenoord grabbed a deserved win and they now remain the only undefeated team this season after 8 rounds.

Ajax disappointed their fans by only drawing against NEC, which means so far they only have 50% win ratio, that's not good enough to be fighting for the top spot. Luckily for them, Twente also drew against Fortuna Sittard, so they didn't increase their advantage over Ajax.

Ajax are trying but it appears that their greatest problem is that they lack the ability to maintain consistency across a stretch of games and that has been their problem in recent years including that year that they were on the top of the table for so long and lost the title race at the closing stages.

We need another title contender to arise because Feyernoord doesn't have what it takes to take on PSV for the title.

This means PSV is now 26th in the UCL table, with only 1 point, while Feyenoord moved up to 23rd place with 3 points.

Feyenoord didn't have a great start. They lost a goal in the 18th minute, but it didn't take long for them to equalise. In the second half, they kept pressing and scored two more. Como is a solid Italian team, so I think Feyenoord can be satisfied with the result.

Ajax seemed like a club that could potentially go high, maybe even win the Conference League cup, but they haven't made a great start. Last season was a pretty bad one, and it seems like they still haven't quite recovered from that, as something is just not clicking in their play. Who knows, maybe re-hiring Erik Ten Haag as the manager. He was the last one to lead them to the championship, and he has done it 3 times in a row.

It looks like Ajax has a tough challenge ahead. They are playing away against Groningen, who are ranked just below them. But betting on Ajax might not be the worst idea. This season they have actually performed better in away games than at home. For Groningen, average points for home and away are identical, meaning so far they haven't been utilising home advantage at all. Those stats are only based on 8 games played this season so far, so not the biggest sample size.

I saw Heerenveen as the favorites for this match, as they are better positioned in the league table currently sitting in 8th place. In their last four games, they recorded one win, two losses, and one draw; however, those losses came against very strong opponents, so I considered them the more likely winners while playing at home. This was especially true given that their opponent had failed to win any of their last four matches, managing only two draws and two losses. That said, I didn’t expect Heerenveen to score four goals. This marks the second time this season that Heerenveen has scored four goals in a league match the first instance being an away game against Sparta Rotterdam, where they also netted four times.

Den Haag - PSV Eindhoven

This game features one team fighting for the title and another struggling to avoid relegation. Den Haag is playing at home which might offer them a slight advantage but they have yet to win any of their 8 matches. A victory here would be their first of the season, and bookmakers are offering odds of @7.60. On the other side, we have PSV, who have suffered only one defeat in 8 games. They have secured 6 wins and scored a high number of goals 26 in 8 matches, which averages out to about 3 goals per game. Meanwhile, their opponent has conceded 19 goals and scored only 5 in those same 8 matches. And there is something very interesting that should be kept in mind:

True that. PSV would likely win this weekend, same with Feyenoord. However, I'm looking to take a different option in some of the matches. For example, PSV game, either over 2.5 or 3.5 if I'm feeling lucky. I would love to go for the over 1.5 option for some selected fixtures but right now, bookies have heavily nerfed the over 1.5 option for eredivisie.

Tonight Feyenoord will face Telstar. And this match should be an easy win for Feyenoord. Telstar has looked terrible in their last five matches by failing to win a single one. Their only victory came against Nijmegen in their Round 1 matchup at the start of the season. As for Feyenoord their performance has been outstanding by having accumulated 20 points which has propelled them to the top of the standings. They are also the only team that has yet to lose a match so far this season. So I personally believe that Feyenoord is in top form right now, where they look on fire and ready to take on any team they face. Feyenoord also looks stronger defensively by considering they’re one of the teams that has conceded the fewest goals so far. And that makes me confident that Feyenoord will continue to dominate every match they play. I’m sure they’ll win by at least a two-goal margin in tonight’s match against Telstar. What are your thoughts?

PSV lost today which was just unfortunate because a lot of people expected them to win today and even took bets on them. That red card they received towards the end of the first half sealed their fate. Anyway, I wasn't too confident on PSV even though I expected a win from them so I went with over 2.5 for PSV and Feyenoord and both legs won.

Anyone would a bet on eredivisie today?
