Accept it or not, hodling is a form of trading that some people will not accepted because they see it as investment, but those that are very patient enough to buy bitcoin and hold it for years like 3, 5, 10 years or more are graduates in trading. I said this because they have mastered how to be very patient, buy bitcoin and just hold it and letting their patience do the work for them.
I clearly get your point, mate, but just for better understanding, trading and investing (buying to hold Bitcoin for the long term) has differences. By definition, trading; Trading is the buying and selling of financial assets or goods with the goal of making a profit from price changes. It usually happens over shorter time frames than investing So, obviously, those that are holding are graduates of Bitcoin investment such that they are able to hold through bear seasons but they are definitely not the same as traders and are not taking the same risks as traders do. I still remember we have had an argument before relating to whether trading can be called investment the way holding of Bitcoin is supposedly known as real investment. Are you beginning to change your mind towards using stop lose? 🤔
When I was using stop loss, I was a very bad trader. It was later that I know it was greed that was causing it. I trade with high amount of money and I use leverage, but the stop losses did not help at all. Emotions will set in and later all my trading funds will be liquidated. I used what happened to me to post and the corrections that I made. Stop loss was part of my learning process, but I graduated into not using it again. It's has never been a bad option for me in my trading that's why I still use it, although I don't apply it in every trades I take but only when it's very necessary. For a trader that is using a very high leverage and also setting stop lose on the trade, they will keep hitting SL before price will go in their direction, that's because price usually return to take liquidity from those areas where some traders like to put their SL.

I do not really think we have a trading graduates or anyone out there could called themselves a trading graduates, why is because you can truly detect what the market would hold in their next candle.
Did you mean you can not? I think that is what you mean. If that is what you mean, you are very right, no trader can always predict the market direction accurately. But some traders try to minimize losses in a way that their long term targets will still be achieved. I think such people can be referred to it.

I believe that trading is not like school, where you can graduate from it. Instead, it is more of a journey where you continuously learn and strive to improve and adapt to a dynamically moving market. Of course, you might already understand these things, but they have become common knowledge that needs to be grasped by every trader. However, even if you understand this, it will not guarantee that you will find it easier to make a profit in the market. The most important thing is your ability to implement that knowledge and remain capable of generating consistent profits from your trades.

For me, one can only say that he's finally a trading graduate if he decides to leave trading for good. There won't be losses anymore, and the risk to lose ends there. But as long as you are still trading in the market, no one sees you as a trading graduate no matter how experienced and professional you are. The fact that you still lose in your trade, and you still gain new lessons to learn every time you are trading, that proves that trading learnings are endless.
And I don't think trading graduate really exist in the real world of trading. Every trade comes with a new risk and a new lesson to learn, and that makes me conclude that trading is a continuous learning journey, trading graduate only happens if you finally leave trading for good.

That uncertainty of market outcome is what makes it hard for us to see those trading professionals claiming to give out accurate trading signals. Cryptocurrency trading is volatile, and a trader can still lose even with the best market analysis or strategies. The vast majority of traders lately have agreed with that fact about cryptocurrency trading, and that is the reason we often advocate for risk management in trading because of the uncertainty in trading; for that, there are no professionals or graduates in trading.

As long as you can place your trade and make profit from the trade always, you can categorize yourself as a trading graduate because you also can trade and make profit from the trade. It is nothing like school because there is no class, no exams, and nothing to prove as certificates of finishing to become a graduate; it is something simple as long as you can place your trade and monitor the trade, your experience will keep growing to the extent that you will because a pro which can also be referred to as trading graduate.

You have seen me posted about the use of low leverage, not using all the money in your exchange account to trade, learning trading psychology, averaging or grid trade up to certain level and not up to turning it into martingale which is used by poor traders.
I have also posted about trader should not only make risk management a practicality but also be good in financial management. Knowing not to borrow money to trade and also knowing the percentage of your income to set on trading which I think should not be more than 10%, but this still depend on how low risky you go while trading which should still be moderate.
Also knowing the right coins to trade because many coins are full of whales that you can not be better than as they will manipulate your money for their own profits, but you in losses. And also that some coins are too volatile.
Do you know that you can know all these and still not be a graduate in trading. Just test yourself, if you can do this 5 times, you are a trading graduate. Example is when bitcoin fell from $120000 to $100000 and your go on long position, if you are able to still make profit or only having a significantly little loss, that is when you have a trading graduate. Such volatile market will always come, be prepared and test yourself 5 to 10 times to call yourself a trading graduate.
It can be in swing trading. You can set stop loss if you want.
I do not think there is any graduation in trading. You only level up. The graduation would be learning by doing which does not need a graduation in the first place other than yourself being sure your own knowledge and talent in the technical and fundamental analysis, tools, charting and so on... A child could trade and could be considered a trader by some. While an adult could trade and be considered a bottomless hole of lost money. Although that being said, I have never heard of a trading addiction problem. These people stop trading once they lose all their money. And then are considered part of the 90% statistic that says over 90% of traders only make losses.

There is always the possibility of pausing and re-entering the market whenever if funds become available. The points you raised are highly relevant to the psychological state of traders, both now and in the future. Exchanges themselves sometimes engage in speculation, much like speculators do; the "pulling of the rug" is an ever-present risk once a large pool of funds has accumulated, and this another fact contributing to traders' always losses.

In trading, there's no such thing as stopping learning. It's actually the same as life, where we must continue to learn. If we stop learning, we'll fall behind others. There's always something new in the world, whether in business or anything else, so we must be able to adapt to it. We can see professionals; they also continually learn about the market and other things to continuously improve their trading skills. And I also find professionals to be wiser; they don't even consider themselves experts. They understand that they can still experience losses, but they usually recover more quickly.

Nope we got to keep learning and experiencing new things each day and the more we push ourself into seeking more knowledge the more we we a lot of opportunities from the market and the more we get closer to our goals, knowledge is a huge importance to our trading journey.

There is no same point in trading, every day there is a new pattern and market view, so no matter how big a trader is, he steps into the market only after seeing it. It is a good thing that trading teaches something every day, but some people have weakened its standard. They have misled people by making a course to teach trading in 3 months, from which they do not understand anything and waste their time and money in the market. We can learn trading with our passion because when our heart desires, we will see such sentiment and the trend of the market and its signals, then we will be able to become good traders. Apart from this, the best trader says this, he does not lie because he knows that trading is easy, but it is not easy to teach someone. Whenever we lose, we get to learn something new, so every profit and loss will teach us a new signal of the market and while learning this, we will also be successful.

I believe trading is a school with endless lessons. There is no graduation only the results of your trading show that you've gone through the challenges of the market and survived while others gave up. The market offers endless knowledge. As time goes by, you keep learning more but your success still depends on the kind of trader you are, the mindset you've developed over the years, and how well you manage your trades. You could be making six figures and still not consider yourself a graduate. That doesn't mean you're not a good trader. It simply means you understand that there is no limit to what you can learn from the market and over time you try to replicate your idea and knowledge of the market..
OK. Are you an actual trader? Are you posting that based on your own experience? Do you even believe that you are qualified to give such advice? Can you prove that you're qualified to give such advice? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ OR, are you, like me, a mere PLEB who can't actually out-trade the actual professional traders in the market? Which one has a high probability of being right in describing most of us in BitcoinTalk.
