If you are not a scammer just use trusted service for this like the other people said. For new guys , never trust , buy or download anything from people you don't know .

My wallet—all I need is to recover the password; help me recover it, and I’ll give you 1 BTC.
@PolarCrypto - What is the result, or is it impossible?

@Chris_Farli, I saw this topic and thought it might be of help to you. The user is completely new and I'm not saying you should trust him, but when you're already grasping at straws, this is just another option. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5592618.0

I’ve seen plenty of videos on how to use it, and I just found a tutorial on the installation process here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MLHIwltHd70. I need to get on this right away.

No, it’s 100% my wallet. I might have handed it over to someone on Reddit at some point, hoping that someone with password-cracking skills would open it for me.
Sorry, but that sounds like a lot of bullshit. There's absolutely no need to hand over the full wallet.dat file to crack a Bitcoin Core wallet encryption passphrase. If you release your wallet file to some random Reddit dudes, why would you expect to ever see any of the coins AND your wallet file to remain "secret"? You made your wallet file basically public, as Dave also confirmed. You're either stupid or your story is fabricated nonsense to sell a worthless wallet file. That’s true, but I think that wallet was deleted years ago, and I’m the only one who still has it. I think about the password every day; I’ve even dreamed that I managed to open it.
What makes you think, a file released to strangers got all copies deleted to make you the sole owner again? That's fairy-tales...

So this safe ?
Yes, it is safe; using a graphics card is recommended. I have a laptop with a weak graphics card, and the speed is 800 passwords per second—which is very slow. Do you have the bitcoin address? 00:56:27 getaddressinfo "1BbEaWRTgWuC9qrYYfphGLh59V4idm9Vdw" 00:56:27 { "address": "1BbEaWRTgWuC9qrYYfphGLh59V4idm9Vdw", "scriptPubKey": "76a914742abc117647200db1060822a1d244cb21153f5e88ac", "ismine": true, "solvable": true, "desc": "pkh([742abc11]03bafbe869a0df78cb7047122510bd8f97fa6ee389e4543b00329a1f60a402389d)#w7yyp45j", "iswatchonly": false, "isscript": false, "iswitness": false, "pubkey": "03bafbe869a0df78cb7047122510bd8f97fa6ee389e4543b00329a1f60a402389d", "iscompressed": true, "ischange": false, "timestamp": 0, "labels": [ "734-01 Transfer from Chris Home Wallet" ] } So, I Googled that address... https://gist.github.com/Jeysi50/b4f1239e695937a0b49525aa337a99cfThe Arabic wallet is 100% intact and verified! The Arab found it on a lost disk or flash drive!According to him, I understood how he described the password from him!The password in his Arabic language of Saudi Arabia was typed from a dummy on the keys in Arabic, with a length of 8-13 characters., I didn't type numbers and symbols, just slapped the letters on the buttons and that was it!I don't have the ability to find it, even the Orab dictionary couldn't find it!For this reason, we will agree to open it, there is no trust, my decision is to put it up for sale on the balance of 7 bitcoins, the wallet is not used up, not public! But an Arab can merge a friend just like me!So hurry up and I'll attach a public key and a hash for password selection from the wallet! If you can pick it up, you can buy it! I am truly baffled by what I’ve seen; it simply cannot be. I’m not going to argue with anyone. It is far more likely to be a scam than the truth. My wallet is genuine and is 440 KB in size; it has a real password and a corresponding hash. $bitcoin$96$e877dfd8437174dbebb9045f8dd57d592cf4be01fc9c45e2db455a1ff066797188a18903a26afc692f2bf2d60bd1331f$16$4a7cc20c192c3d4c$127190$96$951f2bfb51113b63d2cc132fbef75a15930a9ad615de1cdcc8ecd457991bd849333a56980621e0d67b9e114ec33a29c5$66$03ff7ba7d40a7e14f475ccea0f542b21bba0a642cb0e395855a160cbeb9dfd0390 I am actively learning how to launch btcrecovery. https://btcrecover.readthedocs.io/en/latest/Typos_Quick_Start_Guide/ This is difficult, as I have to search online for how to fix every error.

You can act as "baffled" as you want, but this is not your wallet and your story is complete bullshit. How do you explain that exact public key circulating all over the internet for years? We have literally seen scammers try this exact same lazy scam multiple times right here on Bitcointalk. https://bitlist.co/post/66072281https://bitlist.co/post/66450682

Or have a Google account and use https://gemini.google.com/app for free, Pro+Extended Thinking as long as it will let you? I use the system PowerShell utility; I also have a Jupyter shell with built-in Python 3, but the commands are different, so I find it difficult to work with. Or do you mean searching? For searches, I use AI—it finds information quickly, though not always.

@Stalker22, in recent posts, the OP claims that in an attempt to crack his password he gave his wallet file to some people in the past, so as much as it seems like a bad excuse, it is possible that there is some truth in it. Maybe I'm wrong, but it seemed to me that the OP wasn't one of those people who was trying to do something bad with all this.
However, maybe he just approached everything in a different way, time will obviously tell if he is just one in a row trying to sell a fake story.

I’m an ordinary American citizen: like everyone else, I took out a $220,000 mortgage and paid it off a couple of years ago. I’ve tried every possible combination, even though I know what the password consists of and what it includes. Now I’ve hit a dead end: I’m completely mixed up about the password.

How did you try "every possible combination"? This is something I would leave to password pattern generators or password hashing tools that operate on rules and patterns. It's not exactly rocket science to learn how rule and pattern based password list generators work. For this to work, you need to have some good idea about what your password or passphrase was composed of. You sound like, you have quite some idea of it. Have you used other rule and pattern based password list generators besides this "Bitcoin Password by Thegrideon Software"? From what I read and understood, you mixed latin and arab characters. Is that so? If so, it could also be some character set or character encoding issue. Have you verified your toolchain to be able to cope with this? I always recommend to thoroughly check the whole toolchain in use that it is capable to find a known solution of a constructed model recovery case similar to your actual recovery case. Have you done something similar already? The screenshots from your Bitcoin client look like from some ancient version.

I haven't used any others; in the *Bitcoin Password* program by Thegrideon Software, I even set the list to use different encodings—though it's a shame the only language switch available is for Russian. No, the password looks like this: a name and an Arabic word. It seems to me that the Arabic ending is being perceived incorrectly. I haven't run any tests yet—I'll need to give that a try; it's a good lead to help get things moving. My Bitcoin client version 28.1.0

Be that as it may, giving your wallet file to random strangers to "crack a password" is the peak of sheer stupidity. However, unless OP can somehow prove that he is the original owner, I dont believe him. Whether he is the actual scammer or just a useful idiot taking his turn to sell a fake story doesnt really matter. Time wont tell anything we dont already know: https://bitlist.co/post/66072281https://satoshidisk.com/pay/CQZJak https://satoshidisk.com/pay/CPuctJ https://satoshidisk.com/pay/CRdYJg That exact wallet has been used as scam bait for years by multiple people. These types of scams were popular a decade ago, and frankly, anyone who still falls for these tired, recycled fairy tales today is an absolute fool who deserves to lose their money.

These links are a scam; they do not have access to my wallet. At best, they only have the address's extended public key. Unfortunately, I realized this too late—only after I had already sent the file. I sent it simply because I couldn't open it myself, even though I knew the password better than anyone; as for the transfer itself, shortly before that, there had been an attempt to trick me into handing over the file.
