TBH, if I wanted to start small crypto casino myself, I wouldn't have jumped in and purchased a ready made or unsuccessful casino. Actually just buying software is not enough. In fact you can't run a profitable crypto casino with micro budget and white label.

Another thing is some user already said that white label mean dependency on provider. If they later halt their service then you will be stuck. So must check exit clause, data ownership, source code access in your contract very carefully.

It is better that if someone wants to run a gambling den, they should run it from a new perspective because the old gambling den may be in a bad state and a lot of effort and money will have to be spent to make it of a standard. Very good advice however, I'm sure the OP knows what is involved in starting a casino, and even if the OP does not have the technical knowledge about casino site he can just employ someone to do the job for him, the major rule he will play is to bring out the capital that will be used to run the casino.
You are right, he should do a proper check if he wants to buy an already existing casino from someone, because the reputation of the already existing casino he wants to buy may have been destroyed and taking up or buying such a casino will not be good for business.

You have to be so careful in this space and frankly it takes a lot of money to enter it successfully. We're long past the early days of crypto casinos from 2015 - you need experts because you're going to be handling peoples money and this space is not cheap. As soon as you have even a whiff of success you're going to be hounded by attackers who will DDOS you into oblivion and then you'll have to figure out which security services can keep you online (at again - great cost). As you're effectively running a financial site you'll be people trying to hack you using every imaginable angle and tool, so you better have the right knowledge to defend against that. You cannot "one man band" this for very long. A poorly performing casino probably has very deep rooted problems and be careful it doesn't already have crippling scam accusations against it, or someone conducts an exit scam.

If your idea is to buy a place that is ready (or even a template that could be customised for you) on Bitcointalk, then you do not have enough network and money to do it. Normally, a person who is rich enough to do this would be able to find it himself or have people already looking for him; you do not have to do this. But if you insist, and you really want to, make sure that you are dealing with an affiliate situation.

This is good advice, you never know what the lengths are of every single branch of a tree until you can see the fruit that it bears and if they bear bad fruit anyone who has tasted such fruit will know and surely inform everyone and anyone not to go and eat such fruit.
