In the last round, I picked several 2x1 results
Interestingly, I got two games exactly right and earned 4 points for each

And that was the round where I earned the most points, 13 in total, and moved up one spot

However, I’m still doing really poorly overall

I’m going to take a chance and bet on a few draws this round

We had a real shocker yesterday. Borussia Monchengladbach ended their 6-long losing streak and grabbed an away 3-2 win over Stuttgart.
Needless to say, none of us got this one right. Nobody even went for a draw, we all assumed Stuttgart would win. To be fair, when making that prediction, I failed to register how bad Stuttgart were doing in the league so far. Somehow I thought they were at the upper part of the table, but they only had 6 points after 6 games (2 wins, 4 losses and 0 draws) so maybe them losing to Monchengladbach is not that much of a surprise.

8 of the participants have not yet made any predictions for Sat and Sun games, including the top 2 guys (Slaman and Buwaytress). I kind of hope they get caught up in daily chores and forget to do it, as that might be the only way for the rest of us to catch up.

Heh heh. Nice zero Friday. I have kicktipp on phone but am almost 90% out of home lately so keep thinking I will make it on these picks before bed time but Father Sleep always has other ideas. Not to worry. I have entered my picks now and may still change them in an hour or two. Hopes and dreams eh

This week has been pretty bad for all. None of us made more than 3 correctly predicted tendencies. Elche was quite lucky. He missed Fiday's prediction, but none of us got it right anyway. I thought I was going unconventional predicting 3-1 win for Bayern rather than going with the most popular 2-1, but I see 9 other people had the same idea.
Anyhow, 12 points is a top 5 score this week, so I can call it a small success. I moved up +3 places and closed the distance to 1st place from 18 to 14 points. Slow and steady wins the race Grin

Leverkusen's loss surprised everyone except slackovic. I haven't seen that game but the match stats are looking really bad for Leverkusen. They made only 5 shots, 1 on target.

Given that two other participants have the same number of points, the lead is purely nominal, but it’s still nice. It’s quite remarkable that almost everyone guessed the score for the Freiburg vs. Bayern match. It makes perfect sense, really - Bayern concedes quite often, but they also score a lot. Given that it’s an away game, against an above-average opponent, and considering the situation with Kompany, a 3-1 win for Bayern seems logical.
In the next round we will see a game for the clear first place: Bayern - Dotmund, now both clubs are 4 points ahead of their pursuers.
