i know that many crypto users always like to protect their privacy, and that is one of the reasons why they usually choose to use VPN in casino.

If your country is against gambling and you as a citizen in that country are using a VPN to bypass the restriction, you are at double risk even if the casino says they are VPN friendly. What happens when they ask you to provide documents for verification for cases of big winnings that require you to pass verification before withdrawal? Once they notice you are from a region that’s not gambling friendly, you are likely to lose both the money and the account.

And honestly I don’t see need while people use VPN in casino especially for casino that also collects your other form of personal data.

It's not easy reading terms and conditions of every casino platform before turning ON VPN, we do this before thinking about T&C more often. I can't say we are naive or stupid but that's human behavior, the terms and conditions are always bulky and tiring to go through, many users especially me usually scroll through and click accept to continue gambling.

I once asked the casino rep of rizzy casino to clarify their position on the use of VPN which they said that it is allowed. So while is it not all casinos that allows VPN, it is was safe to email them or contact their support to get a clear answer incase it is not stated anywhere on their website FAQs.

It happens to me a lot. Stake.com will warn me immediately and I will off the VPN. It also happen to me several times while using exchanges. The last one happened this week and the exchange logged me out after several attempts to access the exchange, but surprisingly the exchange did not warn me this time but logged me out. I later realized that it was the VPN. I off it and logged in back on the exchange and I am fine. The reason my accounts were not blocked is because of the KYC which I have already done. I think the platforms know already that many people are making the mistake.

There are many things that can affect your account, not only in gambling. You should avoid using a VPN because you might end up using an IP that is already used by someone, and the casino will suspend your account because they detected two accounts using your VPN IP.

If they want to bypass a country restriction and the casino allows it, you should seek a dedicated one, not the static one. Like buying a dedicated IP and setting it up as a proxy. I think that way you can avoid having two or more people use similar IPs.

I lost my account on an exchange although local p2p exchange because I did not read their policy statement on vpn usage until I hard that problem with them, and I was told to read the terms of service by their support and is boldly writen that using vpn on to access the exchange will lead to account blockage, so you are right about that, while some casinos and exchange will outrightly detect and lock you out anytime you try to access the site via vpn others can just melt you the harsh punishment, so best to always check to see what the casino stand is with the use of VPNs.

I don't think about that is the reason why people use VPN to access casino gambling platform, I think that why they use VPN is to have access to the platform especially the country that is not allowed to make use of the casino platform, so VPN can redirect the person to the IP address of the country that is allowed to access their website, using VPN is not for what you said, but I know that so many people uses it for different kind of things, but I am sure that in gambling it is for people who does not have access to register in a gamble in that particular gambling platform that always use VPN to access the platform as I said earlier

All I can say is that people should avoid using VPN in a region that has restrictions to Gambling to avoid loss of access to your account. And secondly they should try to read the terms and conditions before embacking or taking any decision. But that being said, I don't think the other one you said is correct about casino knowing One activity like perttern, fingerprint and some private activities you do with your phone anywhere in the world, or see you as 2 person using one account.  but I believe they can have your IP but monitoring your activities and location is what I am not sure they can do.

There are many casino platforms out there that you can use. You don’t need to want to access a casino through a VPN if it is stated in their rules that it’s an offense. You may put in the hardwork and effort and end up losing your account if caught. Why not stick to the rules from onset to avoid getting account banned or flagged, this is better as you don’t need to be changing casino to have your winning rate probability increase higher because it doesn’t work like that. Fact!! That is why the OP should be even more comprehensive and warn people to not focus only on VPN usage when reading the terms and conditions, but to pay attention to all requirements that could cause problems later.
The problem is that hardly to anyone reads the terms and conditions carefully from start to finish, I am one of these people... I do not read everything, I usually read the main sections and then paste the rest into an AI tool, asking it to summarize the document and point out anything that "could cause me problems".

Regarding your suggestion to disable the VPN, the real challenge is remembering to do it.... I use a VPN all the time: at home, work and on my phone even when I am connected to my home WiFi. It its become a natural habit, so the difficult part is remembering to turn off it when necessary.

I also believe that if someone uses a VPN without any intention of doing something illegal, a simple explanation should be enough to resolve the issue.

Oh yeah, this kind of problem really exists. Now, I hope these platforms will not face some customers who will complain like you and say "by accident" they enabled VPN. But yeah, for sure there are already a lot of software/tools on these platforms that will detect their customers really using VPN to game or bypass their terms/conditions.

First and foremost, you need to make sure the casino doesn't include your country in its list of restricted jurisdictions. If it does, look for another casino. Then once they enforce the rule, we act surprised.

From the start, we need to understand that the TOS are their own rules. But don't just read the TOS, also be aware of the law in your country.
