You are spreading wrong information here, casino don't close accounts because they used VPN, even many casinos say users are allowed to have their privacy but when they use free VPN for privacy and that is used by million other users will trigger multiple account usage that leads to more issues. But casinos allow users if they use a dedicated IP that is not used by others.

What leads to account closure is violation of their terms which includes multiple accounts and then accessing the platform from a restricted country, you can see the listed of banned countries in their tos page itself.

I don't think op's information is misleading. He already stated that gamblers should always go through the casino's terms and conditions of service since that is the way gamblers can know a casino's policy regarding the use of VPN; different casinos with their different policies. People who gamble from restricted countries already know the risks, most of them are not ignorant of it, they choose to take it because they want to satisfy their cravings. It depends several aspects as it reflects to the present situation although gambling is not friendly in some countries but they are still able to access gambling and this is happening to me now.

My country will never be friendly towards gambling as this will remain illegal forever but when due to enforcement it is quite loose then I can still access any gambling site especially for the ones on this forum and I also there are some sites I visit with KYC but till date have not had any issues.

This may be the case for some cases but what I feel now is actually the site will not really care about it, unless there is a ban list for some countries on the policy of the site itself then this will have an impact but for the policy of the government of each country I think the site woludn't really care about it.

You are right in all you have just outlined here and again, even though the casino fully stated it that they do allow and permit the use of VPN I wouldn't still advise anyone to keep using it because at any point in time they can adjust their terms of operation where they could get you get victimized for using a VPN.

It depends on the site because some sites are allowing the use of VPN. Thus, you need to check their terms first before using VPN. Because if in their terms, it states that they are not allowing it, it means, they can really suspend or freeze your account but if it clearly states that they allow it, then, I don't think they will just freeze your account for nothing.

I have to be careful while using VPN in casinos where KYC verification is mandatory. If the country I am a citizen of is not allowed to have casinos in that country, then I have to use VPN in casinos where KYC is not mandatory. Or if I win big profits in the casino, then my account can be suspended just because of using VPN and not using KYC.

Before haven to use the VPN, thorough research should be made first because from different ramifications of individual gambling companies and their policies.
It's very true that some offshore casino's doesn't allow players to bypass through VPN because, it's not all countries or locations that's allowed to use the platform.
So anyone get caught on that is at their own risks and can be locked out from your account after being deposited or wanting to do withdrawals.

In general it is not but this can be a problem when certain countries and impose by using a VPN it can be considered a violation of a site.

Usually some of the big sites I've played with always make this in their ToS because there are definitely some countries that are not allowed or blacklisted from the site.

Outsmarting this with a VPN even if the site is VPN friendly it can be a problem because it is considered infringing.
