I'm not that disappointed. BSFL also had much less players in the first few seasons. Also, there are 16 teams which means that we have 48 players in total. That's pretty impressive for me.

So, we're finally ready to share the competition format.

Considering that we have exactly 16 teams it makes some things easier, but also some more difficult
This creates a perfect Round of 16 but we needed to decide what to do with the knockout place play-offs. These 2 rounds makes no sense at all in current CL format.

Therefore, we will slightly modify it and hold 2 additional league rounds in the knockout play-offs (1 in the 1st leg of games, 1 in the 2nd). This means that we will have 10 league rounds in total, after which we will proceed directly to the Round of 16.
Top 8 teams will be seeded, bottom 8 will not, and a randomized draw will be generated.

Considering that the group stage will take a long time, we have to make the standings meaningful.
Therefore seeded teams will be given the advantage in the Round of 16 and will directly qualify to the quarterfinals in case of a draw after 2 knockout games (there will be no penalties).

In all the future rounds (starting from the quarterfinals) there will be no advantages for any of the teams - meaning that penalties will be played in case of a draw after 2 rounds.

We will now update the schedules accordingly.

Also - we will allow the use of VAR. You will be able to use it 2 times in the group stage and 2 times in the knockouts.
For those not in BSFL - VAR means you can change one of your answers before the deadline. You do it by sending us a DM with your new answers.

Very good competition format, and better than what I suggested yesterday.
All teams will have 2 extra matches to play, which is great, and everyone goes directly to the first round of the knockout phase, which is the simplest and best solution.
With the seeded teams in the knockout phase, more importance is given to the group stage of this competition, similar to the real CL.
My team is currently preparing a strategy for the first round and we hope to start with a win.

Same with a lot of other popular sports.

In a way this means losing even first 3 rounds is not a bad thing, and if you lose all 10 rounds, you still have a chance. I would suggest actually making the placings even more meaningful and have 2 seeds,,, 1st seed is 4 teams who meet bottom 4 teams. Then 2nd seed is 5th to 8th, who must meet 9th to 12th. Both seeds will pass with a draw.

There's a perfectly acceptable delay there. I paid attention to how the picture corresponded to the change in odds (for example, when a goal was scored), and it seemed to me that the delay was literally a few seconds. This is practically no different from regular sports broadcasts, which are also lagging behind by several seconds. Now I mainly watch football on Rainbet, it’s a good option when you’re sitting at your PC.

Its the same situation all over the world, national TVs simply can't compete with those sports oriented channels.
 
Beside watching on Rainbet, there are 2 other options: free streams or IPTV (paid service, usually below $10 per month, but by that you basically cover all the sports). If you want, I can send you via PM link for the website with free streams.

12 games minimum. Knockouts are home + away.
We won't separate the teams further - we feel this offers a bit more drama which is what we want. Also, there are freebet rewards to fight for so there is added incentive to do well in the group stage.

I remember last season I was able to watch the UCL on DAZN for free without any subscription. But the quality was only around 720p,. If you had paid subscription the video quality was much better.

This season, I tried searching for it again but it looks like DAZN no longer has the broadcasting rights. I do have another site where I can watch the games, but I wouldn't recommend it since it's illegal and there could also be risk of malware. But so far I haven't had any problems with it,. I just use Brave browser to block the ads and pop-ups.

Tournament structure here looks great and should make for an exciting season with more varied fixtures.

I use one which is available only for android, but they changed up and only those with the original app can access it. If you try to download from playstore now you get an inferior version of the app which I cannot recommend for anyone. I will also not recommend you get a raw file of an app from someone. The rainbet option may be the best one for you.

I also think that 48 players is decent number and I think for first season it's optimal. Like in World Cup, too many teams would drop competition level .
