There's definitely a reason why some persons are no longer able to hold for the long term, it's not because they don't believe that Bitcoin will not get to a new all time high.

If someone have a concrete knowledge of Bitcoin and they invest properly with the amount that they can hold for a long time while also keeping fiat for emergency purposes, such person will likely hold their Bitcoin for a long period of time because they didn't invest in a way that their budget will be affected and they are also keeping money that will be spent on emergency needs. The truth is, if you invest in a flexible and organized manner and also have good knowledge of Bitcoin, you won't be in a haste to sell.

I’ve often come across countless stories from people, each with their own version, who sold their Bitcoin too quickly and now regret it. That regret stems from seeing Bitcoin current price, which has skyrocketed, of course, no one could have predicted this would happen. But things would be different if Bitcoin were to disappear or lose all value, those who sold it back then would surely be grateful and wouldn’t regret their decision.

Not at all, but I sold last year when it was the bull run and I think it was a perfect timing for my situation as well. Selling too early in my estimation means different things to different bitcoin holder.
Some holders already set a profit goal for themselves when they bought their first bitcoin and decided to hold. This category of people would not concern themselves with the market price but rather with their profit target. Once they have reached that target, the will sell and take profit.
The second category is the weak hands, these ones are not even convinced about bitcoin so they have their heart in their hands and will be the first to sell once the market becomes red because they don't want to lose their original capital. These are the folks that need do really do their homework and stop following trends. They sell early and sell at a loss.

Actually, what needs to be regretted from past events and thoughts until now, this will not change anything except the way you look at bitcoin must be strong... this means that with your long-term HODL there will definitely be a profit it's just a matter of increasing your patience higher.
