How True is this about China Products

Is China really fond of producing fake/counterfeit products? Have you experienced any, or can you state a scenario you have also observed on this?

I don't really think China produces only fake products, they do produce original. According to a business man I kmow, what he said is that China produces anything you want according to your standard. Like now if I go to China to buy any product, China will bring out samples of the product like low, medium and best quality it is left alone for the buyer to make decisions but instead some people will chose to buy the low quality and sell to their country as the best products to make profit thereby tarnishing the image of China as producers of  fake things. What I am trying to say is that those business people who supply this product to their country are the reason behind the sale of low quality product and bringing the value of China down. Have you seen any china man using something that is fake? No they use the best and it is definitely their products most of the time.

I agree that China makes the best products but why do they also try to make substandard products just for affordability to those who do not have enough money to purchase the original versions of their products. Sadly, it is mostly those substandard products that circulate more because since they are cheaper, the demand is always higher than that of the original versions. They make a lot of republished products and some retailers will buy and sell them as though they are the quality ones.

China is not deliberately trying to produce low quality product. At the core, its still about supply and demand. If there were no demand for cheap or counterfeit goods, there would be no reason for manufacturer to keep making them.

So I do not think we can put all the blame on them for this. They are simply responding to market demand.

As for counterfeit or low quality product being sold as genuine, high quality product, that's a different issue. The responsibility lies with the seller, we can't put all the blame on the manufacturer.

But I have also heard of some people arguing that China is formed of producing fake items, they can decided to go to any length in making a carbon copy of an original product and sell the counterfeit to people placing demand, sometimes if you buy a product and does not carefully check the maker, you will discovered that they are China products when you ordered for US or Germany brands.

It can be true that China is famous for the production of counterfeit goods and cheap they can do it on a large scale, the main thing is that China can make imitations of these goods in terms of appearance almost similar only the quality of the goods is low.

I think until now there is still --- you can try to see in the marketplace there are so many counterfeit goods and it comes from China.

Not really. Hiring people in China to assemble components means the product is assembled in China, not the U.S.

Take Tesla, for example. The Tesla cars produced at Giga Shanghai are built entirely in China by a local workforce using a heavy supply chain of Chinese components.

This is an interesting clarification because if the country was as fake as people call them, why would they be regarded as a country with high technology and why would they also get hired on some of the jobs that look impossible in our eyes for a human being to construct, even on TV when they show their cities and what they have you would no that they're not a common people or a country that doesn't build quality products, so actually if this is what people has been doing all this while it would be better for those who buys a large quantities of those products to go the country and get it themselves so that they would choose the best quality.

Anybody that says  China makes counterfeit and only that is just making a broad accusation about an entire country. Other countries do same, producing counterfeit. So let's not turn a blind eye to other countries.
But there are some facts to it. And you will be surprised that countries that go buy goods in china specifically ask for those counterfeit. So just making it their fault is were I would draw the line..

There are both fake and original products in China, and the same applies to every other country. You need to know what you want and make sure that you have the right link to the right source, so don't let people deceive you by selling you inferior products.

Also, develop the ability to know what you want so that they don't sell you something different from what you ordered. I know this about China alone, but in every part of the world, people will definitely take advantage of any opportunity they see as useful to them against others.

Yes I am truely %100 certain that China does not only produce fake but original. This was confirmed by martins Otis popularly know as VDM when he had problem with Blord about high cost of vehicle importation to Nigeria, This made him curious to the extent of going to China to confirm for himself, and he discovered that vehicle are Also not that expensive but the business men increase the price and make it looks so expensive. He even further investigated about this fake products issues and they clarify that they give people what they requested depending on quality they can afford.

China does not have a direct sales into any country, in every country there are government agencies that satisfy every product that comes into that country, so if any product that has been fake enters into your country, that means there has been breach of protocols in your country. In my country Nigeria, there are Chinese companies and there are importers that bring products from China to the country, but for any product to be consumed, we have what we call Standards Organisation of Nigeria(SON), this government agency is saddled with the responsibility of checking every product that comes into the country if it's up to the standard to which the country needs.
So China cannot directly produce fake products and it gets into your country, if it happens, then there is need to check your border security.

I don't agree, and I don't think that responsibility entirely lies with the import things to the country. As far as my country is concerned, we have agencies like Pakistan standards and Quality control authority,  other customer authorities and regulators as well. They are responsible for checking any sort of imported good that enters the country, but I think it is unrealistic to think that every counterfeit or substandard product can be easily detected at the borders.

It is also the responsibility of the manufacturers and exporters who are exporting and producing goods to check for the international market standard before sending them to any country. The problem is share responsibility that just blaming an entire country or border control for the issue.

It also depends on who is dishing out these negative narrative because China is currently dominating the trade market and their opponents can no longer keep up and are now using this method of bad mouthing them as a means of spreading lies.

I saw a recent video of Nigerian billionaire Alinko Dangote giving China their props and how they produce nothing nothing quality. He talked about how they were efficient and was able to produce and deliver too many numbers of the desired truck's for his petroleum refinery in Nigeria. I'm also aware of how they're helping the global south when it comes with providing cheap technologies and also with developments.

In my country, Bangladesh, Chinese products are widely used, especially in my country, low-income people cannot afford to buy high-quality products, so they buy low-quality Chinese products that are affordable. Another feature of Chinese products is that they deliver high-quality products at low prices, which are within the purchasing power of normal low-class and middle-class people. I will not make Chinese products a bad product in any way because no country in the world can deliver products at such a low price.

Its indeed a general problem for all, many loved pertronising products that are expensive but because of lack of capital it is very difficult taking it as an option for now.
I won't blame anyone choosing Chinese products as an option because of its affordability and availability at any point in time. For now its advisable going for what one can afford till when there will be strong or buoyant financially to maintain such standard.

If China only makes fake products, then why is there so much demand for Chinese products? Here we have to understand that maybe other companies are spreading a bad name for China. I am not a businessman so I do not have much idea about this. But as far as I know, China makes fake products, but they are also at the top in terms of making genuine products. China provides good quality at low prices so there is a huge demand for Chinese products all over the world. Most of the products I use are made in China and I get good service.  Point of correction, instead of saying fake next time use low quality cause I've seen people buy several Chinese products and they weren't fake just that the quality wasn't high but it lasted me for a while, i think Chinese products are meant for those who can't afford luxury products for instance a Gucci bag bought from China would be more cheaper than the one bought from US.
 The demand for Chinese products is high cause people with less income to afford luxury items are very much compared to those who are rich so dude, the items you claim is fake products are serving a purpose for the lower class and you should appreciate China's effort.

I have never heard that China is becoming known for producing fake products. Instead, its known for producing cheap products, and you can't expect a product that costs several times less to have the same quality as a more expensive one.

I have also never seen a business grow and compete successfully by producing fake product, let alone an entire country.

On the contrary, after building a strong manufacturing base and developing its own technology, China is gradually shifting toward producing branded, higherquality product and competing directly with the US, Japan, and the EU.

Let's use Nigeria as a case study most products coming to Nigeria from China are they not fake. As I have seen a number of them and also people complaining about buy fake products from there clients in China.

I won’t say they are fake quality, but products of lower quality, and I won’t blame china for producing some of those products, I heard some people do travel to china to request for products like that, since china are after money, they don’t have choice than to produce what they want to for them. I blame the government of each country for allowing products like this cross their borders. If they are importing substandard goods, they should be seized immediately, if the government keeps on doing like that, people going to china to request for items like that are going to stop.

That’s kind of funny to be, but I don’t think that’s going to can be true, I don’t think they going to sell military equipment of lower quality to Iran, I think that’s just a joke. I have seen lots of china lower quality items, that’s what you going to find so popular in my country here because it’s cheaper, and people are always after items that are cheap.

The copy products or close to original products that are made in China are made to the maximum and ordered from foreign countries. Because many people in underdeveloped countries cannot afford to buy and use original products. Then they buy the same type of products from China that come to their country. I think that China makes everything for their own country of very good quality. Even though some people criticize China, it is benefiting the maximum people and China is improving its own business sector. China is basically dominating all types of products in the entire world market. Although USA sells brands, China is providing benefits to people in many underdeveloped countries of the world along with the brand. I don't think it's the case that they sell fake or counterfeit products. Over time, the quality they had was questionable. In the past, the lifespan of some products was short or the quality of some clothes was poor. In general, as time goes by and looking at the products they make now, they have stood shoulder to shoulder with some serious companies. I'll give an example with cars, mobile phones and other things. Their products have made a big breakthrough in europe and are selling very well. So the conclusion is that the quality has increased over the years and that they are now, again i say, shoulder to shoulder with some of the big european companies.

China has proofing to the world severally in so many years to be at the top of others countries, we should not be that surprised to have being seeing china products every where in the countries because i can still remember those days that an Android phone device was imported newly in my country, it was very costly to purchase then but when China started importing their Android phone device to my country, the cost of Android phone device was reduced immediately for everyone to be able to purchase it because it was like a competition between the countries, it is not that I'm praising China products but I'm saying that China products has supersede others countries products.

They have mandatory standards and certification system as well. They have their quality laws that prohibit producer from passing any sort of defective item or substandard goods. But most of time, quality of  product is dependent on what the importer is willing to pay for and what type of specification they want that they have given to the manufacturer. If an importer wants to buy a cheap option then it is reality that product will be of lower quality and cheap. Then responsibility is more dependent on the importer as compared to the person who has produced that product.
