In the OP it is briefed of not letting you down on losses out of bitcoin and anything else. In recent days there happened the coldcard hack. By the time came through a person's reddit post mentioned by our forum member stating his long term saving of around 2 bitcoin being lost. Those were his entire savings in terms of investment. He lost everything and he lost hope on bitcoin, here there is no mistake on him. Once again to start from the scratch is very tough as it has taken him around 8 years for this. In such situation anyone will go low,  for god's sake he has emergency fund and with that he was able to sustain. So, at times when we hadn't made mistake and we were to take the outcome it'll surely make the person emotionally down.
It’s heartbreaking, but code-level risk is the cost of absolute sovereignty.

This is why multi-sig and redundant setups exist. Devastating for the guy, but it shows that even cold storage isn't a 'set it and forget it' magic box.

Losses may hurt but don't let it weigh you down.

Losing money in Bitcoin can destroy your emotions entirely.

Bringing fear, depression, regret and even frustration.
Yes, it will surely hurt y especially when it something that is valuable to you but it also depends on how valued that particular thing is to you that will determine how badly you will feel. Bitcon is a very valuable asset, so it will hurt you if you lost in a trade or maybe your wallet was hack. This is why everyone must ensure that the money there are investing in bitcoin is what they can afford to lose because I believe that can also contribute to depression and regret. Bitcoin is not guaranteed, so to avoid ever experiencing those bad feelings then I think investors should learn to take their wallets security seriously and then they should also invest with what they are willing to let go,so that if something unusual happens to their bitcoin, they can easily gather their strengths and move on with their lives.

In conclusion
Loses occurs everyday, although is painful but don't let it weigh you down, Quickly learn from previous mistakes and apply self discipline.
People lose money everyday in the crypto space, but not all looses were as a result of poor security practices. And there are some looses that would happen to people they would lose interest in that project completely. There was this thread I came across on this Bitcoin discussion board, it was about a man who lost his Bitcoin investment due to a compromise involving his coldcard wallet. I really feel pity for them, because all their years of sacrifice buying bitcoin gone and gone forever.
That is true; it is definitely not something that happens to everyone, but the ones who do happen to are doing something that is a lot worse, and I think we should not be expecting something like this every single time. I think it is clear that we are going to end up with bad results for the long term, and the best thing we can do right now would be ignoring the losses. Well, not technically ignore them, because ignoring would mean that you learned nothing from them.

The smart way would be learning from them, studying trading and indicators and all around technical analysis and that way you would know when something goes wrong, you can study why it went wrong, and you can learn something from it to prevent the same mistake from happening again in the future. If you are capable of doing this, then you are going to make less and less mistakes. It doesn't mean you will never repeat the same mistake twice; you may, but at least you would be more careful, and you will get a lot better results over time.
