I would not say it was a horrible experience or something I could call a scam. But back in the day, there was a casino and faucet called Coinpot, which is defunct nowadays, and I basically registered, got some money and lost it all on their casino games.

It was certainly during the time when I believed in "fool-proof strategies" like pure Martingale.... that was a long time ago, but I really believed that I could beat any site if I had "the right method" and enough resources to apply them.
I even used bots, scripts and others automation to be able of "multiply" the method in less time and get more faster returns.

Anyway, I did not end up losing much money because this,  I've always been responsible with my money, but I did lose a lot of time of my life that could have been better spent obtaining more Bitcoin in the right way.

Sometimes it may not even be that you don’t have knowledge of gambling or risking beyond what you can afford to lose. It could just be a bad day and the money you deposit will be used all and not get any profit from your deposit. It may also be that you were so confidence in the games and never assumed that after risking it all, you won’t at least win something back and you liquidate your account before realising that it happens and such are bad days in gambling.

There are unlucky days in gambling and once you’ve realised that day was an unlucky day for you, if your deposit limit for that day that you can afford to risk as being reached, don’t be tempted to fund more in effort to realise back what you’ve lost, just exit taking any bet for that day and try your luck another day.

Well, my story started with a scam proposal. Years back before I started gambling, what was mostly popular (at least in my locale) were fiat casinos. Someone contacted me through whatsApp (don't know how they got my number) and pitched a scheme to me that will guarantee profit in sports betting. The naive me was intrigued, followed the instructions and deposited a balance equivalent to just $3. I said even though it's a scam the loss won't be too much, then he said they'll send me a code that I should send it to him, that's when I knew this might be a scam. Anyways, I did but the good thing was that the casino didn't alow withdrawal of deposit or something like that, so he couldn't get the money out . I later logged in and changed my password and everything but I too couldn't withdraw the money  . I guess that's how I started gambling, although just occasionally.

I guess "romantic stories" are the ones where we won a significant amount, especially if we started with some small balance and made it to the top!

I see that for most people, ugly & worse stories are about losses... I had crazy losses in all games, but my "ugly" experience is more about bad support. I know things can go wrong, but nothing is more annoying than bad support. I stopped playing in several casinos because of that... Support agents should know how to behave, to be nice, but sometimes they are the opposite of all that, and I have a feeling they don't know how to do their job.
