Are you asking about major losses? I certainly experienced plenty of those when I first started gambling, but the worst instance was when I recklessly used money meant for my younger sibling's school fees to gamble and lost it all. My goal was simple, I wanted to recoup previous losses. Haha, yes, it was an incredibly stupid decision, but I couldn't control myself because I was completely overcome by emotion. On the flip side, I also once scored a huge win, but unfortunately, I couldn't withdraw the money because the casino I was playing at was irresponsible.

I don't remember registering in any new casino for a while so, from experience, delayed withdrawal is the most annoying this happened for me. I don't choose random casinos but even on the most reputable ones at that time had such events, I am talking about bitvest and then it occurs more often then I stopped playing there completely. So, a casino can have issues, but fewer issues related to withdrawals will help with retaining players and encourage them to use again.

Apart from mistakes that have caused me some winning , I have an experience of losing the bonus I got from a casino after trying to withdraw part of it on my winning. I couldn't wait to try out the process longer thinking it was because of the bad network from my end. So I decided to try another luck and that was how I lost once and twice till the bonus finished. That gave me a negative notion about using bonus to gamble.

If a gambling platform or any other service delays withdrawals for any reason, it’s always cause for concern and spoils the casino experience. It’s normal if delays are one-time occurrences, for example, due to technical issues. However, if they happen systematically and under flimsy pretexts, that should raise a red flag.

It's mostly about being asked KYC all of a sudden. A casino that says they're kyc free but when their policy have changed towards verification, I've got questioned to comply instantly. I've got no choice but to comply and then after doing it, I've already left that casino.
That's the same experience for most of us when we're so confident and trusting to the casino where we gamble at not until they have asked for verification.

This can be a very frustrating thing to happen to you because it can cause you to lose huge amounts of money because you do no not want to verify your identity with KYC and they do this on purpose because they know you have nothing else to do if you do not follow their rules. It is unfair that casino treat us this way when we are the ones making them money by making use of their casinos.

We need to start spreading the news about the casino doing this on purpose more so others can know them and avoid them because they are making money off our efforts. I hate it when casino withdrawal are slow and I get forced to make my withdrawal on another Blockchain that I did not have in mind to withdraw. I could say it was when I lost a big sum of money to loss streak, but to lose money is part of the game, so I think I shouldn't consider it a bad experience at all. At least it was useful for me to learn there aren't safe strategies in gambling. Then I guess the worst experience was with freebitco.in when they started displaying signals to be going rogue. Each withdrawal I ordered was tense, because I didn't know if I was going to be paid or not.

It's quite bad when your withdrawal is pending and you can't stop thinking about that. The feeling of uncertainty is the worst part of it.

The worst experience could be hie gambling can affect once life. You can win big and it gets in your head. You wager your wins and lost it, then you go deeping your hands in funds you are not supposed to touch. Things get worse. You look for alternative and you go borrow just to recover the funds you had and lost to gambling. You lose the borrowed funds too. Then in other to pay back, you borrow again but this time from relatives not to pay back, but to recover your losses. Then you lose that also. And it goes on and on until once life is totally destroyed.

Oh my Gosh, this thread has made me relive my worst experience. This thing happened to me in my Uni days. I remember using the only money on me to gamble. Before I use it I always thought that gambling can double any amount you put into it. Had I known that I was very wrong. The outcome was that I now lost a huge part of the money , I wanted to get that money back and before i knew it I lost everything. The stuff was damn serious that I had to stay two days without getting a proper meal. I couldn't even call to inform my parents that the money that they sent to me has been blown away in gambling. That period I was so depressed and regretful as hell. I got sick because of starvation. Damn things was so intense.

I am happy I was able to bounce back. But I cannot ever forget that thng that happened to me. That experience will be will me for a very long time. I have also experienced delay withdrawals when I want to get my  profit, but this experience cannot be as the one I lost all my money while in the university.

I had several experience using multiple casinos, most of my experience are more like a normal gambling problem than a regular casino problem. Losing more often also can be seen as general gambling problem, I have never had a serious ugly casino experience though I once used a casino who never allowed to verify my withdrawal stating some kind of request which is not understandable till date well I guess this issue might be a wager requirement problem, I just had to leave the funds there at least I never won any of the game played so the profit was not big. Aside from this I still enjoy casino gamble not minding the experience like I said losing is not an ugly experience, scam can be considered as a bad experience, personally I’m not a victim of gambling scam related issue.

There was a day that I gambled, out of 100% matches that I bet on that day which were live matches, I did not think I won up to 5%. As I bet I was losing the money until all my money completed gone to gambling that day. What happened on the day to me while betting has not happened to me before. I think there are lucky and unlucky days. It happened in 2019, but I still remember because what happened to me that day was very strange to me.

That day, I luckily made some wins, what I haven't experienced for a long time. I was so happy, at least I got a win after a long stretch of losses. And what made this win more consoling was that there was a bit risk in it. I had few little picks in that bet that had 75% chances of loosing, but at the end, I won it, and I was so happy.

Now over to the main bad experience. Out of the total money I won, I can't remember exactly, I think it was 2018, during the world cup that France won. But I remember I used up to 80% of the win to place another bet the next day. I had an assurance that if had won this, then I can win more and this time, few bets on the slip, with more risk involved. I just had this conviction that I will win again. After all, it's the same kind of bet, and since I used a bigger money to bet, then am winning more bigger. I was so happy while betting. Sincerely, out of the 4 games in that bet slip, none was near to winning. Al lost even in the fist half and I was pained because my thoughts deceived me, and my emotions led me astray. It was so painful.

Do you actually mean romantic side of gambling?

What I do know is that gambling has a good side and a bad side; I don't know if it has a romantic side.

Truth is that a betting platform can be annoying most times, especially during withdrawals and when the customer support is not active; it gets gamblers annoyed because whenever a gambler has an issue, the customer service is always the first thing gamblers contact to get a solution. So inactive customer service is one hell of a thing that makes a casino a red flag to me.

Secondly, when my withdrawals are taking longer than expected, even when the network is not congested. Although a few other things might be involved, to me these are the major ones to me.

It is actually a relieve to have a space like this where we can finally or freely express ourselves regardless of how silly and funny the things we did has been, I had similar experience too where I used my school dues to gamble with, since the date for the payment was postponed so I thought I could increase the money by playing games with it, I tried multiple times and because I was not winning I kept playing hoping to win till I ended up spending all the money on the game and boom all of a sudden we were asked to start making the exact payment that the date was postponed and I was stranded but all thanks to my siblings for their support without informing my Dad.
