Why the feedback status don't shows in all thread?

I don't know if there is already an answer to this question of mine, but I tried to found that, but I couldn't find it.

 Although  this is the beginner-level question, in some cases when I am going to read a topic, I can directly see the trust feedback status of those who are replying to that topic  and in some cases I cannot see the feedback status; it takes a couple more clicks to know that.



So what is the reason for this difference? If the trust feedback status is shown in all threads, then we don't need to click extra.

The feedback is not supposed to be showing in all the boards. It's only on the ones where you're actually expected to need it. Marketplace (with its subboards), altcoin discussion and announcements, trading discussions, scam accusation, etc.

As you can see, we're in Meta right now, and you can not see any feedback stats.

This Trust Score is not displayed all over the forum, but only in boards where goods or services are offered.

These presets are probably useful for you as a newbie at bitcointalk, as long as you don't know the people around here.

This thread can give you more insight, the trust rating is hidden in non-commercial discussion boards to help keep the focus on the discussion of interest and not reputation. It becomes important to display in boards that transactions are more likely, to guide decision making on who to trust.

Why doesn't the trust rating show up in this section? Always wondered about it.

Trust is not visible in sections where users are unlikely to be making financial transactions, such as Meta, Off-topic, and Bitcoin Discussion. It makes sense that it only shows in sections like Lending, Auctions, etc. where trust rating is actually relevant to discussions.

One year before, in 2013, theymos added Marketplace trust. As the announcement title and the explanation below, it's for marketplace sections only.

I added a trust system to the marketplace sections. When you're logged in, you'll now see something like this next to Marketplace posts:

It is designed in such a way that the Trust System is only shown where there is a real need to know the trustworthiness of the user. For example, in the Marketplace and its sub-boards, Altcoin Discussion and Announcement Board, Trading Discussion, Scam Accusations, there is a real need to know the trustworthiness. Because these sections usually involve economic activities. When theymos introduced the Trust System in 2013, it said that it was only added to the Marketplace section.

If I were the OP, I will just lock this thread instead because OmegaStarScream has posted the right thing, every other poster on this thread are only posting what he has posted already that the trust feedback only shows where it is needed to know how reputable the member is. You will see it in places related to trading, businesses and money.

Since we're talking about this, let me use this opportunity to ask a question I've always had.
Shouldn't the trust feedback be showing in the beginners and help board? In theory, that is where beginners go to make inquiries about the forum, and it would also be a good place to know who can be trusted and who cannot. I mean, it would be a good thing for newbies to see the trust rating of who they are talking to. I don't know if this will help at all, but it just makes sense that way.

The answer you are seeking is given by the forum staff. I think the explanation is pretty clear, and there is no need to keep open this thread for further discussion. Just keep in mind you don’t need to trust any user on Meta, because this board only discusses forum-related issues. You aren’t going to trade with someone from this board; hence, you really have no need to trust anyone. This means you don’t need to see the users' feedback here.

To me what I noticed is that they only allows threads or subboard that is most associated with trading or that have more sensitive discussions so that anyone that is involving themselves with any financial deals or dealing would have to know that such person has been given Tag, and immediately they may stop trading with such person, but section like economy or others that doesn't involved much with trading or a financial involvement would not show. Most times when you click the person profile that is when you could see it.
