I recommend checkout the following
- [Mega resources for newbies] Check here, find most of your need, before asking.
- Newbies - Read before posting

Then come back with some actual questions Smiley

edit: If this topic becomes like the other newbie question topics I'll have to lock it, as they have a very high noise ratio.

I would simply add that, while you learn about Bitcoin (if that's your purpose, you've come to the right place for it), you shouldn't forget common sense. A few tips:

- Be wary of anyone who writes to you privately.
- Wait until you have more experience before making deals with anyone, and if possible do so in public.
- If something sounds too good to be true, it's probably not true.
- Review everything BEFORE sending a transaction. After that it is not possible to recover it.
- Take an interest in self-custody as soon as possible, and make informed decisions about how you want to store your Bitcoin.

As a newbie, with time you would learn more about Bitcoin and this platform so you do not make any mistake in the future.  You asking this question shows that you are eager to learn more about Bitcoin and in so doing, members would educate you more on what you will need to know as an enthusiasts.

Never forget this slogan "Not your keys, not your coin" any coin or assets with a third party exchange does not belong to you and if anything happens to that platform, your assets and fund's are all gone.

Always use recommended wallet to store your assets. Do not be in a haste to download an unverified wallet because you saw an influencer online mention or talked about it. Majority of these influencers have caused more harm than good because they promote what they have no idea about.

If you see or suspect any scam website or phishing links, report them to this website captured here on this link as provided be a member

Based on your personal experience, I want to know which things are necessary to know from the beginning.
Congratulations you found this forum, so in your search to find this forum what have you learnt so far, if you absolutely have not learnt anything it would really be disappointing even if you are new you should have at least learnt a few things already or have a good hold of one thing you are expecting to learn.

So now let me formulate an advise for you using the fact that it seems you aren't open to learning by yourself. For me I will say you should force yourself learn without waiting for anyone's guidance or help.

Why are you interested in Bitcoin? That is the first question you should be asking yourself before you come here to ask people what you should learn first. If you have no specific reason in mind, then take your time to know what Bitcoin is and the idea behind it. The more you read, you will be moved to find out what is decentralization and how it is of benefit to you.

If you find Bitcoin interesting and wish to own some, then you can go further to read about wallets, the different types of wallets, how to secure and backup your bitcoins and many more. Bitcoin is deep, but learn the basics first.

No matter what you do, never invest in bitcoin when you can't explain to yourself what Bitcoin is.

There is nothing much required to learn before investing in Bitcoin but we can always consider storing of our funds in a safe mode very essential such that we don't disclose our seed phrases to third parties.
Another could be emotional control by which Bitcoin is volatile and best to be treated as long term investment value. So you should be aware of short term market attributes which may be positive or negative inspiring.

Furtherly, consider the importance of investing with amounts you can afford to risk that would not also affect your short term responsibilities because, someone beginners tends to buy Bitcoin randomly without having savings of settling their necessary needs. This set of people usually sells under panic when they have emergency needs and usually results them selling at lost.

You should first know what Bitcoin's past was. Then you can develop a long-term investment mindset in Bitcoin. And then you should know how to hold Bitcoin safely, meaning you need to know about Bitcoin wallets so that you can keep your Bitcoins securely. I don't think you need to know more than that for Bitcoin investment. You just need to gain faith in Bitcoin and develop a long-term investment mindset. Because no matter how much you invest in Bitcoin, if it is not long-term, there is a greater chance of loss than profit.

There is so much to learn about Bitcoin than just using it a means of making profit or to invest, being a member of the forum is going to be an advantage to you. You must have a clear plan during your beginning stages so you don't end up going beyond your capacity or investing what you will be too scared to lose.

If your main aim is to gain financial stability them you must be ready to be consistent and willing to hold Bitcoin for a long period of time. Bitcoin is a currency of the future and you are going to do yourself a lot of good if you can buy now and keep on accumulating as time goes on.

Bitcoin investment doesn't really take that much efforts because it is just a simple investment, all you have to do is to be consistent with it just as I said in the beginning.

Aside from the given links to you OP. May we know from what country you are? Because we've got local boards here that can help you know more and easier to convey with the discussions.

I think for a newbie, it's the best way to start if he wants to learn more about Bitcoin and not just that, at the same time to learn more about the forum per se.

The mega resource and the thread for newbies to read are more than enough to start with before you do the actual investing.

Enjoy your stay and hope you learn a lot!

Many things about Bitcoin are necessary to know, but which things are necessary to learn at the beginning?

Based on your personal experience, I want to know which things are necessary to know from the beginning.
Before that, I'd like to know your goal in learning about Bitcoin whether it's for investing or something else. If your goal is to invest in Bitcoin, I don't think it's complicated to understand the concept. If your goal is simply to invest in Bitcoin, you just need to prepare some money, create your own non-custodial wallet, and then buy Bitcoin on an exchange and send it to your wallet. It's that simple, and yes, it's not complicated, but you still have to be careful not to mistype your Bitcoin address and also remember to save your wallet phrase. So, if you want to invest in Bitcoin, it's that simple.

But if your goal is to learn about Bitcoin for something else, like becoming a miner, I think that's quite complicated, and I personally wouldn't delve into that stage further. Because I didn't learn much about it either. I'm not interested and prefer investing. So, hopefully, my assumptions can help answer the question you've asked here. And if it hasn't been answered yet, hopefully, you'll find the answer soon.
