I don't even know if i should not be paying that much attention on the bitcoin market speculation regarded how the news has always been and how the outcome of the market being totally different.
Was it not just last week with the news that Strategy sold 1,690 of bitcoin for approximately $104.7 million? Then speculations with negative odds about how bitcoin price was going to be negatively affected continued to erupt with the believe that other investors will begin sell out of Fomo and wants to opt out before the margin sells begin to have effect in the market.
And currently the market even looks like it has gained some supports to break the long time $65,000 resistance. Meanwhile Strategy sold when the market was trading at $63,000.

The best thing is not to focused on market trends because you may end up taking the wrong decision. If you allow most of this information to get to you, there is high chances of being impulsive. As far as bitcoin is concerned this kind of information will always come up and is left for us not to allow such information to make us to take any wrong decisions out of fear. Sometimes it may be good to turn a deaf ear to whatever that is being speculated about the market because there is no one that can perfectly predict the future price of bitcoin. Therefore your focus should be on building a good bitcoin holdings and not allowing yourself to be move into taking emotional decisions as a result of market sentiment.

I do agree that we are not seeing drops because of news, but that is mainly because we are already in the bear market, which means that weak hands already sold. This means that it would have worked in a bull market maybe, or a stable market, but in a bear market bad news doesn't really change much when you are near the bottom.

Some people make speculations for clickbait, some are there for cock and bull stories, and there are others who want to get monetized for engagement. Only a few share genuine information from experience.

If you truly want to succeed as a Bitcoin holder, you need to be positive and stay off what's happening in the market because it might get you emotional, and before you know it, you may sell your holdings thinking that their would be a massive drop, just like in this case, but on the contrary, it has moved higher to $77k plus that it is now, so it's very important not to pay any attention to what is going on in the market because it might affect your decision making negatively. So just buy, accumulate and hold for a very long time, because that's the best way to make something big out of your investment.

If you are buying, just buy and the same for selling if you have to. Think long term and the micro market
speculations disappear over time.

It is never a good idea for an investor to focus on the market price. An investor should focus on holding it for the long term and buying it consistently. I got very greedy when I saw the price of Bitcoin go up recently and if I had Bitcoin, I would have definitely taken the step of selling my holdings. I have been thinking for a few days that maybe I have a long term investment goal and I will never think short term and I will never get greedy by looking at the price of Bitcoin. But the current bull market has completely proven this idea to be wrong.

It depends on you. A trader will probably check speculation about the market that he will trade, especially a currency like Bitcoin, which can always be volatile.

That should be the very least of your problems. Even from the meaning of speculation, you should know that it has nothing to do with you as an investor, especially when you've already made your investment plans clear. Noise is part of the market... People say whatever they want by making random guesses even when there are no facts to back them up.

If you find yourself compromising your investment plans just because someone shared his/her opinion about Bitcoin's future price, then there's a need for you to sit up right and start being more decisive in making your decisions, and taking responsibilities for your investments without the influence of others. I'm not saying that you shouldn't listen to what people have to say, but you have to see it as their own opinion that doesn't have to influence you in making silly decisions regarding your own investments.

Practically things like these always work because many times what happens to me is I follow things that never work for me, but they give good returns to others just because of this. Always having a strategy for how to stay updated and work is the best thing for everyone. A few weeks back there was enough negativity about Bitcoin due to its decline and not having good change, but suddenly now one day it brings good success; people are now talking and having enough profit.

Speculations never work properly because many times a few do things for their own interest; just because it is always recommended to keep updated about events and having all relative knowledge gives better results to everyone. If you are a day trader, paying attention to every market news might actually be helpful, as any little solid news can move the market into a direction you did not expect, but that’s not with strategy decisions. The period where all of their buying and selling decisions can make the market react in a way that it could be noticed, I would rather focus on news that have to do with the news than fomo being created by strategy acquisition and how other investors will react.

I'm not sure on whether this move by Strategy affected the crypto market negatively, but when they first sold some Bitcoins, it has a huge effect and it's almost immediate. Correct me on this one, but as far as I know, the effect of this one is minimal. Yes, there are many speculators who believe that the company selling some of their holdings has a negative effect towards the market, but it wasn't the case. Also, the term FOMO is only applicable when you're buying, not on selling. For me, FOMO in buying = panic selling in selling.

Anyway, I might be wrong, and that's because I'm not paying too much attention anymore on the market speculations. What I'm doing is I'm just looking at the chart, plot the support and resistances and if Bitcoin broke a resistance, there's a chance that it'll go up, and vice-versa. Anyway, 2 weeks after this has been posted, Bitcoin has already reached $81,000. I guess you can pay attention to them, but don't rely your decision on them. But that drop didn't take long, because what happen next is we have seen Bitcoin recovers. I don't know if Strategy regrets their decision to do quick decision, now that market is now heading back on $80k zone.
