If you are a day trader, paying attention to every market news might actually be helpful, as any little solid news can move the market into a direction you did not expect, but that’s not with strategy decisions. The market cap is above where someone would just have to sell just 1,690 BTC and it dumps that way, in fact when strategy sold out the market didn't just change or reacted negative instantly but it took days, in fact few weeks later the market boosted above.

If you are a trader, it's not a bad idea to be paying curious attention on what's going on in the crypto space, because you need to stay informed when trading the crypto market, but if you are a long term holder, it's not necessary because you will only succeed in putting yourself under tension, especially if it's a bad news about Bitcoin.

Only scarf traders should be paying attention to news and market speculations like when a big company like Micro strategy, now strategy sells their large Bitcoin holdings, or buying another hundred of Bitcoins which could cause short term market reactions.
