Anything would happen even without war, disaster often happening somewhere and people losing their wealth. We may consider earthquakes one of the biggest disasters by nature. But instead of holding Bitcoin, I am not getting why you prefer stablecoins. Holding stablecoins doesn’t make sense as a crypto user.

It’s true you may keep some stablecoins for emergencies in case the Bitcoin price drops, but you need money. Even the richest person would be affected by such disasters; it depends on their investment. So holding stablecoins isn’t also an investment. I would prefer to hold Bitcoin and consider it an investment for the long term.

There used to be a guy, don't remember his name, but he also used to make topics like this. Maybe someone will agree with me. I used to say that member might be smoking weed before writing a topic, because every time he posts, the post stays irrelevant after every third or second line haha.

You don't seem to have much of a point at all. Your house is a lot more of a stable asset than some electronic currency or paper notes, if something like a global war ever materialized again then the first loss is likely to be the internet which will affect your crypto as much as your bank account. You're better off holding gold coins in that scenario, at least they've been the universal reserve currency and hold practical value outside of what could become a worthless currency. Cars are a well known depreciating asset and very few would ever be able to make money from "holding" them, it's just a tool to transport you in various levels of luxury. Actually when is is war, properties are being destroyed, especially if they are located close to the war zone, and if war is envisaged before making any investment ensure you avoid those areas which are proned to war to avoid loosing your investment. When it comes to saving war can make fiat currency loose value, and influence the economy in a way, so the idea of saving your money in stable coins like usdt or even in Bitcoin is not a wrong idea more especially if you understand how the savings works. What if you rent and the natural disasters happens in the location you rented, you will move to another location right? Natural disasters can happen at any time, you do not have control over them so you can't use because they have been predicted to happen and stop buying things that gives you comfort. Nothing compares to physical assets. You have to be aware of the severe economic repercussions that come with natural disasters and wars, which, in my opinion, no government will want as well due to how wealth will be impacted.
