it was because there was an ease in the Strait of Hormuz
First of all there is no "ease" in the Strait. The situation has been pretty much the same over the past 173 days. After the terrorist attacks the US regime carried out against Iranians, the powerful Iranian military imposed heavy restrictions on the Iranian strait known as Hormuz as well as delivering deadly retaliatory strikes against the US regime and the Epstein Axis; during this time Iran has not been allowing any ships related to the terrorist enemy and its axis to pass through.

Quote
My question is, does the Strait of Hormuz has a control in the movement of bitcoin?
Not at all. Bitcoin is not "controlled" by anything at all.

However, any event that affects the global economy will also have some effect on the bitcoin price. For example in this case the US aggression has disrupted the global economy and as I had predicted last year here it has contributed to bitcoin's drop.

The recent price surge is mostly the natural market movement after a very long period of accumulation that we've been talking about for a while now. It's just a breakout from that tight range and it is too soon to speculate on it without seeing how much momentum it will have (eg. will it also break $70k?).
But it has nothing to do with much else.

Meanwhile the inflation that the rise in energy prices is causing (eg. oil to $91) is contributing to that rise as well. But since the main issue in the energy sector is not the price but the shortage, we may soon see a collapse and a much worse recession. In which case we may start seeing bitcoin drop once again.
That's the type of effect I'm talking about.

Bitcoint hit $65,000 today and it is trending in the net that, it was because there was an ease in the Strait of Hormuz but I did not See any connection of the two things. Someone has said this here but I did not pay attention at that time and seeing it again draw my attention closer. This is what was said.

Bitcoin (BTC) hit $65,000 after Tuesday’s Wall Street open as US stocks rebounded in spite of geopolitical pressure.
though there are more to read. You can read from the link. Bitcoin reclaims $65,000 as Strait of Hormuz fears ease

My question is, does the Strait of Hormuz has a control in the movement of bitcoin?

Bitcoins value is quoted in USD, which we know has a strong hold in the war against Iran.

A news about the straight of Hormuz affects the USD either negative or positive depending on what happens next. And not just that, almost all USD news has an impact on Bitcoin volatility. Just like today when the Treasury news was released all USD quoted assets bought massively because the us dollar got weakend.

Bitcoin has broken the resistance already at the $65k and has touched back $68k this should be a good news for the market because we can gladly say it has bottomed.

Current performance could be attributed in some level to it.
Iran has chosen to take Bitcoin as toll and for maritime insurance to prevent censorship from western authorities.
In summary Iran has chosen to take Bitcoin as a form of payment hence the current rise.

Previously nothing the Street of Hormuz does has any effect on Bitcoin directly but can have an effect because of global economy but after Iran decided that they will now be accepting payment in Bitcoin, it has now gotten a major influence on how the price of Bitcoin has been reacting recently and that would not stop because other countries will begin to adopt Bitcoin too as a way to avoid the US san. Russia also begin showing signs of them adopting Bitcoin to help the companies in their county do business with others and avoid the sanctions of the government too and all this will be affecting the price of bitcoin as it begins to become a means of payment not only for citizens but for the government officially.

The strait of Hormuz is a crucial pathway for ships to pass to reach their destination.
It does not have any connection with Bitcoin but we are surprised that the politics around the Strait of Hormuz is causing problems around the world and it's also affecting the price of crude oil. This is politics and it have control over the entire crypto market.

My question is, does the Strait of Hormuz has a control in the movement of bitcoin?

In every Market, we have the technical analysis and the fundamental analysis. The technical deals with market structures, candle sticks, indicators and other things that join together to form the technical sentiment in the market.
The fundamental analysis only deals with politics and how it controls the news which we can not avoid as an investor or trader trying to make money from the market.

Actually, nobody can really agree with such Theory, because the market of bitcoin can increase at any time, even when you did not expect it, so therefore bitcoin price can increase and decrease at anytime...based on past experience of bitcoin falling and rising, when theirs crisis it do after the market of bitcoin and if the crisis is getting over it also make the price of Bitcoin to appreciate..so at this point we can't conclude that why the price hits 65k is due to ease in strait of Hormuz.

You are very much right on this, and I agree with you 100%. Because apart from Iran's interest in using Bitcoin for most of its international transactions, I don't see any impact the opening of the strait of Hormuz could have done to Bitcoin. Because Bitcoin is not crude oil by which the strait of Hormuz was affecting it's market supply, making it scarce all this period during the war between the US and Iran. And it the reduction in the price of petroleum was the title of this thread, then it would have been understandable, unlike Bitcoin that happens to be a totally different asset. So in conclusion, the recent interest of the Iran government for Bitcoin might be the main reason for this increase in its price.

With all the excalating situation in the strait of Hormuz, we saw bitcoin touching a very key price today, reaching up to $69,000 before sliding down a bit again, this shown us that bitcoin have it own independent market indices that propels it market outside normal global market assets, which strait of Hormuz have direct contract with like oil etc

Even though the situation you say is easing is actually on the opposite because there is no safety passage through the Hormuz up till now, and there is still bombing going on, within the war zone and their neighbouring borders, so you see that we can not clearly tell wether the recent activities have affected bitcoin to act in the way it is right now bitcoin volatilities comes from alot of other factors outside just Hurmuz opening or closer.

Do not be fooled with all these, bitcoin has its own trends and war in Iran is not part of it. Bitcoin like to react to news but the trend will be followed at last. Since I have been studying the price of bitcoin, I have noticed this and not bothered with such news anymore so far I am not thinking of using it to trade.

How did Bitcoin react the last time the US started to ration fuel?  The strategic reserve will eventually run out if the strait is kept closed.  How will it react when it can no longer grow?

China may invade Taiwan in two months (the two windows are October and April-May) and that will destroy high density chip manufacturing.

So in the past you may have watched the price move as Trump did this or that and maybe you noticed a pattern, but I can guarantee you the price of bitcoin has never faced what it does now.

It goes a bit like this:
Strait is blocked for a long time -> global oil shortage -> prices of oil go up -> all other prices go up -> recession looms in -> less profit for businesses means stock prices go down -> people pull out of highly speculative assets as well as stock market to: protect the value; get cash to be ready for buying opportunities; invest in commodities that are expected to go up (gold, oil).

Initially, Bitcoin was expected to act as a store of value for uncertain times like gold is/was, but things did not pan out that way.

Maybe the problem is not so much whether you can win or not. But rather that it is difficult to stop in time and withdraw your money after win.
That's the most classic thing that happens to all of us: stopping in time. The way we have to stop is very difficult because we can say we will and then not end up doing it. That's something that always happens.

When we're in the middle of a game, whether it's any kind, in my case, I've noticed that when I win, I get excited, and yes, I want to go for more. But when I go for that "more," it's my biggest mistake. Even though I tell myself a lot that I won't do it, the moment I'm playing, I don't know what happens to me. I can't control it. That lack of control is what makes me lose.

Initially, Bitcoin was expected to act as a store of value for uncertain times like gold is/was, but things did not pan out that way.

Bitcoin was invented in an environment that no longer exists.   Energy is no longer guaranteed due to multiple reasons - dwindling fuel supplies for every sector all at once.   Without guaranteed energy, bitcoin miners will shut down.  The price may skyrocket but those hodling coin will only be able to fantasize about accessing them.

---
My question is, does the Strait of Hormuz has a control in the movement of bitcoin?
Directly? No, but any news that's related to the US-Iran war could have an effect towards Bitcoin and the global market, and we just saw it happen AGAIN.

I feel sad for those people who relies on these news. Bitcoin reacts to the news because for investors, they believe that it's a bullish news, and if the sentiment is bullish, the price will be bullish as well and vice-versa. I'm already at a point where I don't care about these kind of news anymore. I've seen the effect of the US-Iran war on the market. I also saw the effect of Strategy selling 32 BTC on the market. I also saw the market tumbled when Trump is saying anything about tariffs that it came to a point where the market goes down just by him saying the word "tariffs". Those show one thing. Bitcoin and the crypto market is still a fragile market where it's price could be affected by just some random news out there.

The longer the war will be, the lesser the effect on it on the crypto market, but the only one that will be heavily affected by this is the oil market. Any news regarding the Strait of Hormuz is supposedly have little to no effect towards Bitcoin's price, but investors thinks that it has that's why they're buying hence, the pump in the price.
I would guess that there is. Because thanks to Hormuz being opened at any given moment, which is not open yet but it's eased, meaning more ships pass right now, that means oil prices would go down. Oil prices going down means that more companies could sell for cheaper, and that means lowering inflation, and that means more people would make a profit, and that means more people having money to invest. See the connection? Doesn't guarantee it, of course; after all, how much could it even be impacting?

But the news of it would probably have more impact on this than anything else. I think it is clear that we are not going to see this be easy, like not suddenly skyrocket, but it did help with the news. However, I am still in the belief that it will drop; while it may look green right now, red is not that far off, and it will happen, and we should be considering how that could potentially happen. We need to reach a point where it is not going to be simple at all; we just need to make sure that we are not holding it when the red days come.

Timing is literally the hardest thing in all of crypto. In fact, if you had the timing down every single time, you could just make a profit all the time every single day, but we can't be 100% right with our timing. Like, for example, if you bought a week ago and sold now, you would have profited a lot, but if you bought 2 weeks ago and sold last week, you would not have profited at all. How could you know that the previous week would not be profitable and this week would be? You would not have any idea; even if you thought that it would go up, you would not know exactly this month.

This is why it is quite important to realise that most of the time when we are making trades, we are just running against time. And if you are right about timing it correctly, then you are going to profit, but if you are wrong and if you do not know when, then you are going to lose. Timing is all there is in bitcoin, it always goes up and down, so if you say it will go down, you are right, it "will" go down, just not sure when, and if you pick the wrong time, you will lose, and if you say it will go up, then you are right, it will go up, just don't know when like how we did not mostly know it would happen now.

I understand, it's simply a matter of managing the timing and taking risks. Similarly, I think investing in BTC requires a lot of patience to let time do its work.

It's exactly as you say; you can buy at the wrong time and sell at the wrong time, resulting in losses. But you have to keep your focus on profits. It doesn't matter how long you have to wait; you have to be patient so you can make a profit.

Agreed, one of the trickiest aspects of biting the Bitcoin trading bullet is the timing. It is often easy to know the direction, but determining when to buy or sell is more difficult. For example, the Strait of Hormuz. A region of potential geopolitical tension, can affect oil prices, inflationary expectations. Liquidity in the market, and therefore the sentiment of the Bitcoin market. Although not necessarily right away. Bitcoin can trade ahead of, or behind, the traditional market and predicting the short term is even harder. It's why I believe it's better to just attempt to hit the shot. I would guess that there is. Because thanks to Hormuz being opened at any given moment, which is not open yet but it's eased, meaning more ships pass right now, that means oil prices would go down.
Persian Waters including the Strait of Hormuz are not going to be opened on the enemy any time soon as long as the US threat exists (the threat of the Epstein Axis in general). And when it does, things won't go to normal any time soon because what people miss is that oil market doesn't work like other markets. First of all, some of the oil wells will be dead due to inactivity and reviving them is either impossible or would take a long time. Some of the infrastructure (like the ones belonging to Big Oil) will have been destroyed and they'll probably never be rebuilt. Therefore the production cannot go back to the time before the US regime started its aggression against Iran.

But most important of all is the shortage. So far in the past 176 days the oil shortage is roughly 2.5 billion barrels. That's not something that can be recovered easily even if production and export went back to pre-US-War right now, it would still take another year.

If that wasn't enough, for the reasons I explained in details here the Strait of Bab al-Mandeb is also shut down and by extension the Red Sea and to some extent the Suez Canal. And this week the Armed Forces of Yemen announced that they've expanded their list of targets and will destroy more of the Saudi usurpers' infrastructure. And they've already destroyed multiple oil related infrastructure in Jizzon and Najran in retaliation for Saudi-US-Zionist aggression toward Yemen.

Therefore for the foreseeable future, because of the US regime's acts of aggression the petroleum market is going to be significantly disrupted with increasing shortage and a very volatile market and most of the times high prices.

It's a shame that instead of promoting regional peace, some Arab countries are partnering with some external forces to destabilise their region. The recent developments have proved that the US and its partners don't have the capacity to control the Middle East. This is why the best option for peace to prevail is for countries in that region to sit down, negotiate, and agree on the security of that region. I like what Oman and Iran are doing, and I expect other countries to seek cooperation rather than depend on the US for security. The instability in the Middle East wouldn't have happened if some of these Arab nations didn't have Western military bases in their domain.

I feel pained when I see my countrymen suffer because of the actions of the US. The price of petroleum products has kept rising, and the poor are finding it difficult to survive. Trump's pride wouldn't allow him to acknowledge that he embarked on a failed war in the Middle East. I am seeing the proposed new sanctions as a sign of failure for a government that promised a regime change in Iran.

Rather than trying to see every shot that is made. It's better to have an exit and entry strategy rather than a constant push for the market. Often the most challenging part of the process is just deciding when to stop.
Things are certainly different now. The US has absolute control over the Strait of Hormuz, which isn't easy because they're so far from home. Even so, this has been the trigger for the war.

In fact, the US is dominating everything: routes, military bases on the Strait of Hormuz. It's like a dynamic; something could explode at any moment, and I hope that doesn't happen.

Bitcoint hit $65,000 today and it is trending in the net that, it was because there was an ease in the Strait of Hormuz but I did not See any connection of the two things. Someone has said this here but I did not pay attention at that time and seeing it again draw my attention closer. This is what was said.

Quote
Bitcoin (BTC) hit $65,000 after Tuesday’s Wall Street open as US stocks rebounded in spite of geopolitical pressure.
though there are more to read. You can read from the link. Bitcoin reclaims $65,000 as Strait of Hormuz fears ease

My question is, does the Strait of Hormuz has a control in the movement of bitcoin?

Bitcoin has become a mainstream asset in the global financial system. Consider the fluctuation of Bitcoin's price to be normal in the global context. However, consider this asset safer for you than Fiat. Analyze my words and you will get a good answer yourself.

As a result of the attack on Iran, they imposed restrictions on shipping through the Strait of Hormuz. The superpower United States imposed a counter-blockade, creating a stalemate. Currently, US dominance in the region has increased, resulting in stable oil prices and stable world trade. This stability has had a positive impact on the price of Bitcoin and currently Bitcoin has risen significantly, which is close to $78k and there is a strong indication of further growth.

When we talk about tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, I speculate that it will have a big influence on the price of Bitcoin, I speculate that the Strait of Hormuz will influence global inflation, the spike in oil prices is also the real reason for its influence on the price of Bitcoin.

Not to mention the concerns of investors, where they can at any time move Bitcoin assets to other places, Bitcoin can be considered risky, the positive thing about Bitcoin is the tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, paying cross fares is possible with Bitcoin payments, if that happens it will certainly form a unique sentiment, especially for Bitcoin.

The impact of tensions on the Strait of Hormuz cannot be underestimated for Bitcoin.
