Would You Let the Casino Pick Your Game?

As I have said in a previous post, I'm a newbie as far as online gambling, but have years of experience playing in traditional casinos under my belt.

That's why I was surprised to see a casino that will let choose a game for you randomly if you want to. Obviously, once you enter you might have some games that you want to play already. But at the last minute you might want to try this option.

If you have the chance, are you willing to take this feature from time to time?

Or you are going to stick to the games that you prefer in the beginning? Will it not bored you in the long run? Or gamblers really defaulted to games that they really know or they have history of winning whether slots or card games or roulette and will not by any circumstance let the casino pick the games for them?

Randomly selecting a game won't be bad, but even when I don't want to play my favourite games, I take my time to shuffle from one provider to the other trying to figure out a game that will catch my eye and I prefer that pattern and, unless the random features will have a filter to set specific providers game it can pick from and the once to total ignore I won't want to use it, as there are some slot providers I don't feel lucky playing any of their games.

I will prefer to always choose the games that I want to play instead of the gambling site to choose for me. Roulettes have been the reason I visit online casinos more and there is a particular roulette that I am playing mostly, but I like most other ones. The rest that I do on gambling sites are sports. I think I will bet more this season, but still with little amount of money.

I voted for No. I will not let casinos pick the game for me. It will totally defeated the purpose of gambling itself regardless if you are playing for fun or not. it's the question whether the games that are being pick by the casino is random?

Maybe they will give you the games that are seldom being pick by ordinary gamblers. Not saying that you don't need to explore other games, but it's better that you have total control of what games you like to play in a particular day.

If that games are not hitting, then move on the next game and try your luck.

Indeed, the old boring betting table routine can smoothed out by simply having auto selection button on board. The general trend is that the veterans will only make independent choices in the game genres that they are familiar with, in order to retain their strategic management and there will be no capital wastage on the new systems.

For sure from time to time I would probably try doing it because there was just an option about it, I mean sometimes, if I go to the casino, I just couldn't decide what games to pick to or what game I want to play it was just kind difficult to pick so I think if I have this kind of option why not I wouldn't wanted to waste a lot of time on deciding so I would play whatever the casino pick for me as long as I know how the games work.

The issue of getting bored playing old games is already talked about, you’ll see a lot of respond concerning preferred games and I’m wondering why will anyone get bored playing games they’re conversant with though I understand the part when trying out new games also can be considered but, that doesn’t mean the person is bored playing old game instead they just want to explore.
The casino feature is optional, I have not tried this option and I don’t think I need it maybe if I want a new game I prefer checking out the list myself although letting the casino choose is also not a big deal.

Picking your own game that you know well and you have been making history of profits could be the ideal thing to do. You pay for that, at least more than being entertained, its also an advantage if you have master that game already.

However, playing new games on your part isn't actually a bad idea. The more you're exposed to different games, the more you become an effective gambler. After all, gambling profits aren't guaranteed, especially if you are playing on those luck-based games.

There is absolutely no way I will let a random button choose for me because the algorithm will likely push you towards the high-margin slots or even push you towards terrible return to players. Serious gamblers always stick to what they know becuase it gives them full control, To let a casino app randomly steer your game is a recipe for someone who is eager to lose money, if you feel bored it is better to switch things up manually instead of letting the casino's system dictate your play.

I won't. Good thing if its a bonus or free game, any game would be okay for me. But if it requires an amount of deposit, then maybe it's my right to pick my own game not because I pay for it, but because I only stick to games where I have gained real knowledge and skills for it to succeed and bring me profits. Yes, automatic selection sometimes will help, so that time can be saved on tedious consideration. The willingness to venture in new thing provided one knows the rules can help to loosen up the ambience without worrying about making complex decision.

This is a common sense and I don't want to over react to it because it just look unreasonable to me that I'll visit to play in a casino and the casino will make decision of what game in their provider I'll play? Very strange and unwelcoming. I must say and I trust that whichever casino that practices that may have bad ending in their reviews because whenever players losses their bets, they'll always point fingers on the casino that they made the option for them.
If you understand the meaning that you can't beat the house edge, no reputable will add such feature because they'll earn accusations at most over players reactions.

One reason why I might not be a fan of allowing the casino to randomly choose for me is because the system might actually and most likely recommend some of their original games rather than actually picking from the most played or popular ones, but I can also still try that feature if the balance I’m using to play is from their bonus, then I can explore anything.

I think it’s quite normal today on gambling sites to have casinos suggest games and even go as far as making predictions for you.

All these are initiatives to making gambling easy for gamblers and reduce the confusion that would be associated with having to source for games and markets to patronize.

It’s always left for you as a gambler to determine if the markets patronized and the selections are okay with you or not. Should you decide that they are just about the fair games you would want to bet your money on, then it’s cool otherwise, you get to make your predictions, delete or replace other games with more appealing options.

Most times, I just stick to my own prediction and be satisfied with the outcome.

In as much as am using my money to bet on games I will prefer picking my games my self so I can take the blame upon my self if i did not win unless I will still be allow to make some changes after a random pick by the casino.

I even find it difficult to bet a game predicted by some else because the person selection of games might not be the options i prefer so i will see it that am losing money since am not the owner of the game, before i bet on any game i try to make some research about the teams, there previous performance, head to head and there past record with the team they are playing with, though doing all of these doesn't guarantee that am going to win because we are not guarantee to win in gambling no matter how time it took us to select those games.

Why not? As gamblers we love to bet on the unknown and see what the future might hold us. So who knows, maybe what the casino might pick for you will be the biggest correct decision you have made as a gambler as you win huge money on it.

No, never!

If you think only in terms of profitability, then it depends a lot of the type of game... in sports game this is completely insane, you can not leave your bet option to chance and disregard all the technical criteria to make an more accurate bet. But, in games like slots, dice, etc.... choosing the bet yourself or letting the casino choose it woul not make any difference because the probability of winning is always the same.

But, even in the second option I ask you: What is the point of “spending money” if you give all the excitement of bet to a machine? You will just lose your money faster without enjoying the excitement of the game.

I would rather spend my money with another hobby than simply depositing into a casino and letting it “have fun” for me.

If I am bored enough and have a few dollars to throw away, sure... I would not mind to give that option and try and see what the casino has to offer if I go for a random game.
Sometimes, there are hidden gem deep within the casino selection of games and the way to discover them it is through exploration or allowing the casino to recommend it to us.

Though, since all gambler already have their favorite games, many will straight to those games which catch their attention when they want to experience something familiar and welcoming.

I already have my own list that I selected myself, and all of them are already in my favorites list. But sometimes it gets boring when I play them, so yes, if there's a random button, I might use it. I believe this kind of feature will be more suitable in slots. I mean, there are too many games in slots, so sometimes it's difficult to choose. A gambler who cannot decide what he will play can probably think about just pressing the random button and seeing if he will enjoy it or not.

I personally find this feature useful at times. But I don't see it as gambling strategy. Best use of random game picker is that I can discover new game. Especially when I get bored playing same 2-3 games. But there is no reason that randomly selecting game will give you better odd or more winning chance. And your previous win or loss will never change the probability of your next outcome.

And there is no reason to think that you should only play game where you have winning history. No game becomes Lucky from short term history.
From what you say, it seems that structural features of any game such as event frequency, payout characteristics and betting options affect player behavior.
