Of course it’s allowed, there are no specific regulations prohibiting minors from participating in Bitcoin.

However, at such a young age, extra supervision from parents is needed. Always guide them to first increase their knowledge about Bitcoin, why so many people are willing to adopt it, and to learn about its potential and the benefits they might gain in the future. So don’t immediately focus on buying, buying, and making a profit, if the focus is solely on profit, it’s not unlikely that the focus will shift from investing to trading, which, as we know, is very risky.

When it comes to the funds used for purchases, always remember never to use borrowed money. For now, since they don’t yet have your own income, think of investing in Bitcoin as a form of savings that will pay off in the future. Even if the amounts aren’t very large, if they do this consistently over the long term, the results will definitely be noticeable.

I can really remember but am sure I started gambling as a minor and it's not something that is advisable, instead of them learning the ugly side of making money, it's better we usher them in the right, especially with investment where there is a guaranteed return. They cab even be taught how to trade bitcoin with demo accounts before starting the actual trade when they have gotten the full Idea.
Nobody is talking about gambling here, and nobody is also talking about trading here, so those are totally two different scenarios altogether. Because if you can actually read and comprehend what O.P meant, then you will notice that he is talking about Bitcoin investment, and if is it right for minors to be taught about Bitcoin. Of which we all know that the simple answer is that there is absolutely nothing wrong with introducing a minor into starting to know what Bitcoin is, and equally start investing. Because Bitcoin investing is not like trading or gambling where you might lose your capital, but rather the capital stays intact for the number of months or years you wish to keep holding it, and likewise it has a higher chance of its value increasing far better if you had kept the money in fiat currency.

Why not? Satoshi never made any rules requiring Bitcoin to be accessible only to a certain age. As long as they want to learn about it, no matter their age, it's fine if they get involved with Bitcoin.

Currently, many teenagers are starting to get involved with Bitcoin. Using only knowledge from YouTube, they've begun investing in Bitcoin. And that's pretty cool, I think, because while most kids are busy playing, they're actually thinking more about investing.

Starting that early means no pressure at all, but kids are definitely not going to realize that, bro. If you think they always act on fair grounds, then teaching them about Bitcoin and even teaching them about investment is not a bad idea at 16 because they say you become an adult at 18, but that's just what the rules say. The intellectual level of a person decides how mature they are. If I am 39 years old and I am still not mature enough, but the age makes me one or expects me to be mature.

Age is just a number, bro. Intellectual level and bravery in the heart is what drives people these days. Anyway, kids losing $50 in a short term trade at the age of 16 when they don't have to worry about any kind of work or house expenses is less difficult, but they can still learn that lesson that a 35 year old will learn after losing the rent money.

So always start early. There are no such bad consequences because if there are, then stop teaching physics and chemistry. They can do bad with that as well.

A minor can get involved in Bitcoin. In my country, adulthood means a minimum of 18 years and in most countries this is considered the minimum age of adulthood. Now a person can think technically enough from the age of 16-17 and has gone through their school life. In such a situation, they can definitely learn about Bitcoin and can get involved in Bitcoin. The current generation acquires good knowledge about technology very quickly and they are very active on the internet. So in this case they can learn about Bitcoin and since Bitcoin is an interesting thing, it is normal to get involved in it.

I will teach my son about Bitcoin very well when he turns 15 and in that case I believe my son will be involved in this Bitcoin in 15-16 years. And in this case he must be a minor according to the laws of the country. So I will not be surprised to see minors involved in Bitcoin

I would say there is nothing wrong with minors getting knowledge about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies when they reach a certain age and maturity level, but getting involved isn't a necessity and shouldn't be a part of it, I think. Minors shouldn't be allowed to manage any sort of finances until they reach an age where they can be considered old enough to get into such things. I know that sometimes life takes turns where things that aren't supposed to be done in general has to be done, but not in normal situations.

If I'm the guardian of a minor, I would love to see them learn about Bitcoin, other cryptocurrencies, blockchains, but only if they show interest themselves and not that I ask them to do it, because then it doesn't make any sense and it can be considered forceful. However, I wouldn't want them to start buying or using cryptocurrencies at that age, once they reach the legal age, then they can start doing all that and by that time, they must have learned almost everything they need to know.

I know there are disadvantages, I will need y'all to list and write them down below. I'm only focus in promoting Bitcoin and the advantage of it.
Alright, one disadvantage of it is that they're vulnerable and young and those bad people might take advantage of their innocent mind.

If they're so talkative and have shared to random guy that they own it, that guy could be a bad person and set a trap for these minors that might put themselves in danger.

And that's the reason why if someone teaches a kid to get into Bitcoin, they have to tell them that they need to remain lowkey and shut their mouth completely and know first the people they'd like to share and talk about it with.

I don't think there are any rules binding or restricting anyone from getting involved in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency at large, well, at least none that I know of. I read so many times here about how people intend to even start as early as five years old in introducing their children to the Bitcoin blockchain technology, so it's not a new thing anymore.

Bitcoin is for everyone, so if you are good to go, then nothing is holding you back, I can start as early as I want to introduce my children to the Bitcoin space, but even if I don't give this decision, the world has evolved so greatly that all this information are spread anywhere on the Internet and so many other places.

I think we are all forgetting the part where these kids or minor in this case, first have to own a device that has internet connectivity and that means it boils down to the parents or guardians to afford it.
There's also the concern that having internet connected device has and that's, these minors may not only engage in Bitcoin related investment but also delve into other Internet activities that may be detrimental to them learning about investing and actually investing in Bitcoin from that early age.

The best bet is to feed them the knowledge as they grow, teach them good financial habits and investment opportunities and hammer on Bitcoin investment so that they never forget about it and when they grow to be able to own a device, then they can put the knowledge to good use without even needing any help.

As long as they are also guided by their parents or guardians. I believe there's no problem with that. Do remember, youngsters have generally low EQ yet,  so they can be aggressive and make wrong decisions. So they really need someone to look after them.

Bitcoin provides equal opportunities to adults and minors, especially in terms of learning the nature of bitcoin. Regardless of what they're intention for bitcoin, at least they should be guided by someone who is more knowledgeable about bitcoin so that they won't develop the concept that bitcoin is a get-rich-quick or it could be a useful tool for scamming and hacking people.

Bitcoin is built for positive purposes so it should not be involved in things where it can ruin someone's life or it can be used as a tool for fraudulence.

I don't think bitcoin is only limited for adults. Minors should also find means to get to know about bitcoin and learn its technology because its not only for investment and trading purposes but it could also be a great advantage for jobs that could involve bitcoin. That way, you can start earning from bitcoin in your younger years and then decide to enter investment when you have gained sufficient amount of knowledge and capital that can start bitcoin investment. This isn't only for profitable gains but also can develop the right mindset towards money discipline and financial skills.

Well, the answer is yes, a minor can actually get involved in Bitcoin at a young age, but the way they got involved also depends on their age restrictions and parental guidance. And their purpose of getting involved in Bitcoin also matters, weather the focus is on learning, earnings, investing or trying to find a quick means of getting rich.
Directly purchasing Bitcoin, such as by opening an account on an exchange. It isn't really an option for minors, as there are age restrictions. Therefore, if you want to provide them with a Bitcoin investment. The parents need to manage it. This involves teaching them about crypto, setting up an account (using the parent's identity). It provides them with a personal wallet. However, before starting, ensure they are truly ready. It is not just about the money. But also about the child's mental readiness. The situation is different, of course, if they aren't directly involved—for instance. If you, as the parent, are simply setting up a Bitcoin savings fund for them. However, in general, it depends on the policies of each country or the policies of the exchanges being used.

If this kids start buying Bitcoin at such a young age, they will be able to build and secure a bright future in their twenties.
I don't think it would be that easy for minors to buy bitcoin or crypto, especially when kyc is required by the more beginner friendly platforms that allow users to purchase crypto directly with fiat.

There may be p2p platforms where kyc isn't mandatory, but those can be considerably more technical and may require users to have a better understanding of how crypto transactions work. Some may be relatively user friendly, but that doesn't necessarily mean they are safe for someone who doesn't know what they're doing.

Before using any non-custodial or p2p method, you still need to understand how to verify the counterparty, avoid common scams, protect your funds, and make sure you're actually receiving the correct asset, etc. etc.. So while it's technically possible, it isn't necessarily as simple as creating an account on a mainstream exchange and buying bitcoin with fiat.

But yes, there might be some minors here doing stuff already, who already knows a lot on crypto and doing regular transactions already.

I think the direct involvement that any minor can have with Bitcoin at a certain stage in their life is for them to just accumulate enough knowledge first about Bitcoin and how the technology operates because it is difficult to imagine a very little minor having purchasing power to constantly invest in Bitcoin occasionally with the strategy of DCA or any other strategy adopted considering that they do not have a source of capital at a very minor age and are completely dependent on their parents, at least that is what I am thinking.

Minors involvement should be them getting knowledge on how to invest when they finally have a source of income, or how to guide/ secure the investment that will be made for them by their parents.

How I would like to approach this is make a wallet for the minor and send them coins on a regular  basis over time till they understand how bitcoin works, how to keep it safe and what all things they should avoid when dealing with bitcoin. They will be knowledgeable by the time they reach 18 and then the major can hand over the designated wallet to them.

There is nothing official about age restrictions on bitcoin. These are self imposed and self discipline is encouraged.

If kids start buying Bitcoin at their age it would be an advantage to them when they grow up but that's just something that we can assume because in reality what do you expect kids to know about Bitcoin. First of all, buying Bitcoin isn't just about having the money available it takes a certain level of maturity to make the financial decisions to carry out that task, you cannot expect kids to be psychologically ready to invest in Bitcoin at their age.

A minor cannot buy Bitcoin but they can get involved in the process of just learning about it and being introduced to the system. This can only work if the parents of these kids are making the investment for them while they are still young but for these kids to make the decisions by themselves, that's not really possible.

While it's perfectly fine for minors to be involved in Bitcoin, education should take precedence over investment. The most important thing they can learn at an early age is about Bitcoin, wallets, private keys, security, and the market. Another concern may be that exchanges have age requirements for purchasing Bitcoin directly, so parental involvement is important. It is more important that minors aren't encouraged to get rich quick or that Bitcoin is an easy get-rich scheme. When parents decide to invest for them, they can get them ready for the future by teaching them how to manage and protect their investments. When they are able to make their own money they can make their own decisions and not follow the hype.

Minors can indeed invest in BTC or get involved in the blockchain world rather than being preoccupied with things that could lead them to promiscuity and potentially criminal activity. However, as you mentioned, this is subject to the condition that the child is intelligent and able to invest in BTC while still maintaining their schoolwork.

However, if the child is still very young, such as under 15, I don't think it's suitable unless the child is genuinely interested in investing in BTC. They should be guided by parents who understand BTC investment to avoid mistakes. However, if children invest in BTC by the time they are in their 20s, they certainly have the potential to generate significant returns. but in my opinion it seems that in this case it depends on the family's economic situation as well, such as underage children who are not yet able to earn money, it will definitely be difficult to invest in BTC unless the underage child is a child of a rich person who will definitely have the potential to be given a lot of pocket money and it will definitely be different from a child whose parents do not have any, so investing in BTC will likely be difficult because they are not given much pocket money.

You can invest in Bitcoin if you are of the right age, and if you have good skills and experience, and you can build the ability to hold Bitcoin from your student age. I have seen in this forum that many people have learned to invest in Bitcoin during their student age, and some people have been able to buy and hold Bitcoin even after saving their tiffin money. However, I think that if you make a mistake at this young age, you will definitely be able to correct this mistake later, so it is much better to get involved in Bitcoin investment now.

I know there are disadvantages, I will need y'all to list and write them down below. I'm only focus in promoting Bitcoin and the advantage of it.

I definitely think investing in Bitcoin is positive, because if someone plans to keep this Bitcoin for a long time to build their future, it is definitely the best for them. Therefore, in the current situation, creating the ability to build their own future is a good enough plan, so the benefits of investing in Bitcoin are more than the disadvantages.
