Let's be realistic, I would be even happy with 100K and if someone dare me to stop away completely after than win then I might consider it. Gambling is not my part of daily routine. I do once in a while just like many other things.

It is difficult indeed to get out of this circle even if we hit the jackpot and become millionaires even when our ambition and confidence are much greater we will always try and feel less with the winnings we get.

In some cases, I always find some of my friends ' behavior when they win is not to stop but increase the bet with confidence (hope) when they play with small bets they have won big enough especially when they play with big bets.  A pattern that keeps repeating some of my friends who still play slots and I'm pretty sure most gamblers will feel the same way as my friends do.

I am not that kind of person that will win a very huge amount of money and still lose the money back to gambling. That's a lot of money that could make one stay off gambling for a lifetime but there is never a satisfaction with many gamblers, there is always this feeling to make more even after winning enough. It could start with little considerable deposit that might not hurt to lose, then accumulated losses begins to settle in, and panic gambling starts, that when the most money is lost.

You would need a strong level of discipline to actually stop after winning such huge amount, though it was a commendable that he invested the money into building a house and setting up a farming business but gamblers would always want more, there is never a limit to how much money is satisfactory.

I'm almost certain that after a big win, no player will be able to stop, because once a player has won the jackpot, they'll always be thinking about winning, about how to win again. If they've been lucky enough once, they might even be able to do it again. Therefore I'm confident that players who win jackpots will continue to play forever. At first I am not gambling to make so much profits but that doesn't means that if I am opportuned to win such amount of money I wouldn't take it. Human wants are insatiable when it comes to money and greed has cost alot of looses to some gamblers because they refuse to pipe low or stay away from gambling and once they have won a substantial amount and they will want to double their wins and at the end of the day end up loosing everything they have won already because of selfishness.

Absolutely yes but the challenge will be that it's not just enough to decide that I'm going to stop gambling, it's going to be more challenging to actually stop it considering that the thought that I can win more will still come to mind.

I'm not surprised at this kind of story because I know of someone like that too but he didn't win as big as such a huge amount of money. He won something around 10 to 11 thousand dollars which is still a reasonable money because he bought about three cars and went into transportation and at the moment he is barely managing, the money went back to gambling few years afterwards. But the particular gambler in question took a very good step by building his own house and going to farming business. But if he ended up selling the house, that means he is a chronic addict gambler.

If you are an addict in gambling, it doesn't matter how much you win or how small the amount you use to gamble, you will gradually lose the money back.

It is only non addict gambler that will stay away after winning such huge amount. I won't continue if I win such amount because it is life changing and many gamblers desire to win that big. I'm not an addict, so I can be able to control my emotions to stay away.
