What do you think, is this a potential problem?
Regardless of whether KYC is required later after a big win or after signing up, it cannot be considered a “no KYC” casino, because they still require users to fulfill their KYC obligations when asked. However, it’s a good idea to enter your real name in the name field, while you can just enter any random phone number. After all, all that’s needed for login is your email address, so that shouldn’t be a problem.

There are some casinos that when registering must require the contents of the basic identity to continue the process of creating an account, often I choose a random name as want to remain anonymous, it's just that it has not been until Ever incident in mintai KYC.
There's actually a possibility in this case: You do not enter the real identity name, can still be renamed by the casino when applying for KYC, or can also be a problem when doing KYC the same name that was filled in before is not the same, then I think this depends on the casino's own policy.

So I registered in a casino which is licensed by the way, and based on what I read in their thread, they don’t require KYC. They only ask for it in special cases like suspected cheating, abuse, or other common reasons. But I am just wondering, because during registration there are still some details you need to put, like name and phone number. Since they are saying it is a no KYC casino, is it okay not to put your real identity there?
My concern is what if one day I win big and they ask for KYC. Maybe at that time I will have no choice but to comply and give my real identity. But what if the details I put before are different, then maybe that can become a problem.
What do you think, is this a potential problem?
Asking for phone numbers is a step one KYC; it is something confidential as well, but I think it is just to get something to identify you as the owner of the account. It has not much information about you compared to sharing your personal details like ID for KYC, which some casino platforms do before you start using the platform. Many don't like it, but some casino platforms will request for KYC in the future because they have specified to you that they can request on special occasions; having a big win can be the occasion where they might requeste for KYC before you can have access to your money. Be ready to provide KYC or use a casino that is known for non KYC.

It's hard to really find a truly no KYC casino, from what I see with new casinos, it's a new trend to put up no KYC as a feature, while at some point the casino can suddenly demand KYC, I don't believe there is any casino truly no KYC, it's a common trap. It won't be a problem, already they knew many people are not going to put up their real name at first, most casinos only use usernames, which can be a nickname. When they ask for KYC, that's actually when they will need your real identity.

In scenarios like this, it is actually arguable, because you can state that what you used in registering your account was your nickname and not actually your real or full name. And it's left for the casino to confirm the ID which you just submitted for your KYC if it is authentic or not, and stop asking why you used a different name for registration or not. Because it is only a scam casino that do not want to pay you your money after winning that will have an issue with a minor case like this. Because inasmuch as the casino stated that you could gamble on its platform without KYC and it will only be requested in cases of suspicion, then they ought to have known or expected people registering without using their real name. So I don't think this is an real issue, because sometimes the names used for registration can still be edited on the casino profile.

The question you raised here is very important one for newbie. I would like to say to the newbies that No KYC Casino does not mean that they will never verify your identity. Most licensed casinos, such as Curaçao or Anjouan licensees, do not require KYC for small deposit or winning. But large withdrawals, typically close to $5000+ or suspicious activity have an obligation on them to verify compliance with AML laws. If your account is terminated due to incorrect kyc info then it is not the casino's fault, casino must do business according to the law. is it okay not to put your real identity there?
I was like straight up, no, it is not right any way. On one hand your winning will be at risk. Similarly in some jurisdiction deliberately opening account on financial platform with false identity and attempting to withdraw money from it can also be problematic, under the category of identity fraud, although this varies from country to country.

If the data requested at the initial registration is your real data, like your real name, of course it should match your KYC verification data later on. But if it's just a username, I don't think it's a problem. As for your phone number, that can also be changed, and the casino shouldn't make an issue of it when you're asked to do KYC verification. There will definitely be an email to confirm your account too. It does seem kind of complicated, but the casino is probably just following their procedures.
The person may not be able to change the phone number but I think I have been able to change the name before and which I do not really remember but it is possible he may also not be able to change the username. What the person would do is to contact the gambling site for the change and I think the gambling site will change it for him or allow him to be able to change the information. If it’s a KYC data verification situation for withdrawals, do you think the casino would allow you to change your details easily? The casino may suspect that the account has been transferred and that could be a breach of their terms and conditions. I’ve never had this kind of problem at a crypto casino. But I used to request a phone number change at a fiat casino, and it got approved. In the case I experienced, I had already completed KYC verification and had to change my phone number because it was no longer active.

Unless the casinos is shady, the casino supposed to understand and accept your KYC. This is the reason it is good to gamble only on reputable casinos. I have someone that had such issue in the past, they allowed the person to change the information, but the person is also on a campaign on this forum, when Stake later fully asked for KYC, he had to change some information. But not that he won huge amount of money but because he is in Stake campaign.

Let me tell you a story of my experience with people that claim they do not require KYC requirements during registration. This was not a gambling experience, but still shares thesame lesson.
When I graduated from high school, a bank marketing assistant reached out to me and my friends encouraging us to open an account with the bank and start saving. We were told registration was quick and easy; no passports, no photographs, no strict means of identification etc. Just your name, age and few minor details. Few years down the line, I deposited a huge amount of money in the account, the account was restricted and I was required to undergo full KYC investigation before I could upgrade my account and access my money.
Whenever we hear gambling platforms or any casino say that they don't do KYC checks, confirm to know if the no-KYC thing only applies during the creation of his account or same still applies even after every other activity. There are no real No KYC casinos. Casinos can only make their account creation process less strict, but KYC wil still come in the future.

Seeking privacy and providing false info are not same thing. Real advantage of No KYC is that you don't have to upload your document beforehand. And your data is less collected. But that does not mean you should try to cheat system with false info. So my advice is to use correct name and data when register, even if the casino claim No KYC. If you win big in future, you won't have to worry about withdrawal. If you are concerned about privacy then you can instead transact with privacy-focused coin like Monero. Or avoid using exchanges that are directly linked to your real world identity. For example if you deposit directly from Coinbase then your casino profile and real identity will be linked. My concern is what if one day I win big and they ask for KYC. Maybe at that time I will have no choice but to comply and give my real identity. But what if the details I put before are different, then maybe that can become a problem. What do you think, is this a potential problem?
Now, you could withdrawing all your money from this casino then you can complete KYC. By doing this they will delete your previous wrong information i think.

A direct answer to this is, YES, it can definitely be a problem. When a casino say No KYC, what they outrightly mean is that they don’t request or require KYC at registration, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t request for KYC later on when the need arise. So if the need arises later, maybe after a big win or some other situation, they may still be able to request for it.

Any casino that claims to be no KYC but still lets you know that KYC can be requested if they find anything suspicious or any cheating has a high chance of asking for KYC if a huge amount is won in a game. When a casino assures customers that there is no KYC, they are supposed to stand by that and not ask for any details, no matter how big the amount is.
If the casino feels a user is trying to take advantage of the casino, which is against the policy of the casino, it is their right to take action. Casinos are expected to stick to what they stand for, and a genuine casino will do so. However, a casino that is not ready to be transparent will be seen through their actions.

Atleast , they already made it known that they can require KYC at anytime so you ought to have understand that it's a partial KYC Casino(even if they claim to be No KYC). That's still better than the ones that just hold your funds without any early warnings. The part that's a bit sketchy is the phone number, if they require phone number while setting up an account and you provide a wrong info , that could bounce back on you when there's need for future verification.

If the casino is truly a no KYC casino it will not ask about your personal details, and if you are doubting it don't make use of it, it is better to be safe than sorry. For you to prevent yourself from regretting later it is best to avoid it. If you didn't go against their policy, they will hardly ask you about it, unless if the casino is not legit.

Let me tell you a story, when KYC was not mandatory on Binance, I thought that since KYC is not required here, I could just give any random name during registration. As I thought, I opened an account using random name and address. As far as I remember, my account had about 10K dollars at that time. And the account was logged in on my phone. But unfortunately, my phone was stolen and I knocked on Binance support and explained everything and asked them to temporarily pause my account so that the thief could not withdraw funds using my phone. After that, when I recovered my email and mobile number, when I went to log in to Binance, they asked me to do KYC verification. When I went to verify with my ID, they said that my name and address did not match. In this way, I lost my 10K dollars forever. In fact, you should never open an account with wrong information, be it a KYC required platform or a pure NonKYC platform.

My concern is what if one day I win big and they ask for KYC. Maybe at that time I will have no choice but to comply and give my real identity. But what if the details I put before are different, then maybe that can become a problem.
What do you think, is this a potential problem?
You can use any name instead of name, you can use a pseudonym here. But phone number is a confidential document they cannot claim it. Since they are promoting themselves as No KYC, it is not fair to ask for phone number. Which platform are you actually talking about? No KYC is the title that is now seen on the Maximum Casino platform, through which they want to attract gamblers because maximum gamblers do not want to provide their personal documents for gambling. So if you are a responsible gambler and are serious about kyc, then read the ToS and then decide to use that site, and since they have mentioned some reasons for kyc, then they are not a complete no kyc platform. And I think it is not fair to ask for phone number during registration.

To avoid future trouble, since it was stated in their TOS that they may ask you for KYC if they believe something is not right with your gameplay. I will advise you to use the correct information for the details they requested when you create your account. My concern is what if one day I win big and they ask for KYC. Maybe at that time I will have no choice but to comply and give my real identity. But what if the details I put before are different, then maybe that can become a problem.
What do you think, is this a potential problem?
Yes, that will be an issue, which is the reason why i advise the use of the right information from the get-go, or else you'll give the casino the chance to confiscate your funds and lock your account.

What do you think, is this a potential problem?
I think it could be a potencial problem, because there could be some section on their terms of services, in which it is established that all gamblers are supposed to always provide accurate information about themselves when requested. It is rather a matter of common sense... When an institution which manages money gets people faking their information, then it is immediately assumed such people are into something fishy or illegal. So be careful with it, because if you win and your personal documents won't match with your registration information, it would be grounds for your account to get frozen and terminated.

First of all, the terms "licensed" and "no-KYC" directly contradict each other, which means that if a casino is licensed and regulated, even if it says it's a no-KYC casino, you shouldn't take their words at face value, because they can take a U-turn at any time, and then you will question your decisions more than their change of behaviour. Such casinos won't just wait for you to become suspicious, at times, they might even ask you to verify yourself if you go for a withdrawal that isn't very easy for them to digest even if they know that you haven't cheated or did anything suspicious or something that doesn't align with their terms and conditions. Now, about your question; it is of course possible for them to create a problem out of the fact that you used a different name when you were registering your account and the name on the ID you have submitted is different. Platforms, not only gambling but others as well, often take such things very seriously, because they wouldn't think of the possibility that the person might have used just fake credentials at the beginning, but they would think you are trying to verify your account with someone else's ID, unless they also have face verification, but even in that case, it could still be troublesome. So, I would suggest that you use your real details, just in case.

That is the real problem: you have no choice other than to provide your accurate information. They will definitely ask for the KYC if you win a big amount, but if you don't want to be revealed, then they would freeze your account. If you provide your accurate information, there would be no privacy, and you will be open to them. So, what should a person do at this time? It's so confusing you can't stay anonymous even at no KYC casinos..
