10 years from now huh?

I'm assuming that institutions would want to hold bitcoin more than ever. More countries would have bitcoin on their reserves. Bitcoin adaptation would had increase as I expect 2 market cycle at that time. And maybe bitcoin can be really used for daily micro transaction, assuming that we can transact with a very low bearable fee and faster blockchain confirmation.

I listed all the positive things I want to see in the future. One negative thing I can think of is having some institution monopolizing bitcoin and would have the power to make a significant price changes based on their movements just like what microstrategy is today.

One thing that matters about Bitcoin is and will remain to be its use case as a store of value.

New and more financial institutions will want to be in possession of Bitcoin in their portfolio and countries will also increase the rate of their possession of Bitcoin as well. This will matter a lot of the Bears and bull market continues over these years, because this is what makes the market fun and attractive, otherwise there will be reduction in the rate of interest over the years to come.

In the next ten years to come, Bitcoin would probably be doing good for itself in amount, maybe almost times 2 of the current market price now. I feel so. Though there is no assurance about this, but the previous results and doings speaks positively about it's future doings or what long term investors should think or believe. Bitcoin is around $70-$80k recently, and we shouldn't be surprised if we see double of this price in the next 10 years or even more.. if we have money, we should just keep buying, and hopefully, there will be profits.

Am thinking that bitcoin will still act as a store of value, however this won't be the only use of bitcoin. More people are getting to know about bitcoin and as wide spread adoption is , that is also how people will find different uses for bitcoin. I believe there will definitely be new use cases for bitcoin and bitcoin hasn't gotten to its peak yet so the next 10 years is going to be exciting as bitcoin is going to soar high.

10years might seem like a long time but, it isn’t exactly.
If we are looking at Bitcoin’s market cap, it’s easy to say the coin has soared a lot in a short time but, if we are to look at it in terms of what it has archived in utility, I don’t think it’s done a lot and still wouldn’t expect much in 10years.

Bitcoin is still looking to go mainstream as a currency and that wouldn’t happen in the next 10years. It would rather continue to serve as a store of value especially, given the fact that volatility has reduced in recent times.

What do you guys think?
I think people will be less interested in Bitcoin in the next 10 years, except we're still going to have the Bitcoin circle thing going on. The reason a lot of people are still very captivated by Bitcoin is the fact that they see it as an asset that can be bought at its assumed low during bear season and then sold when it goes into a bull season. If the circle is broken, it will be hard for most people to find a bottom for entry that can give them nice ROI. I see altcoins blossoming more.
Altcoins doing better at what cost? You can never be so sure about the market price when nothing is guarantee, still there’s no much point to prove if people will no longer find interest in bitcoin in the next 10 years. The last time I checked bitcoin circle is still functioning well but, the question we should be asking is whether people are patient enough to wait for bitcoin circle? So far a lot of people are already taking advantage of the market price when clearly it’s not time so in this situation I don’t expect such people to stay longer in the market space. I’m certain bitcoin will do better in the next 10 years, basically people are attracted to high profitable asset and bitcoin happens to be doing well although 10 years is really a long period of time, if I’m not mistaking bitcoin might experience 2 circle within this period according to previous events.

volatility assets like bitcoin, it is not possible to give any prediction with guarantee. But at least it can be understood that bitcoin's position in the future will be better than before. You must have seen that for the last few years, there has been  war , political negativity , economics downfall in the world. Despite this, the price of bitcoin reached ATH. And along with the increase in the price of bitcoin, when many people start using bitcoin, that will be the improvement for bitcoin in the future.

For me, I’m feeling Bitcoin would more widely adopted. Just like you said, more people are getting to know about Bitcoin, and the more people get to know about it, the more adoption increases, and the more adoption increases, the more usage increases too, and that only means one thing, which is that the Bitcoin price will increase significantly. Which kinda means that those who are buying now would be happy they did in the next ten years, that’s if they continue accumulating.

Yeah right,  we have the same thoughts about this, the more people understand about bitcoin and actually start using it, the stronger the adoption could become over time... I think the most interesting part is that we are still relatively early, so thise people who keep accumulating and have a long term mindset could potentially look back years from now and be glad that  they started when they did. Of course, nothing is guaranteed with bitcoin, but the long term adoption story is definitely interesting and as we can see right now, the progress of this coin is definitely worth the risk.

You know one of the things that really makes Bitcoin more compelling is that long term potential. Real world use, early adoption and growing understanding can really make a lot of difference in today’s accumulation in the coming years from now. I believe the key is just staying consistent to the course but still not forgetting the fact that there are still some risks attached.

10 years from now, bitcoin is going to get close to $500,000 and be more widely adopted than we could ever imagine.
Don’t you think it’s too early to be making predictions on what bitcoin price will be in the next 10 years, I can’t even imagine what bitcoin price is going to be, but am expecting the price to be good in the next 10 years. I don’t know if bitcoin will be above $500,000 by then, or below $500,000. Let’s just keep on observing the price, and let’s allow the price move freely.

It’s too early to predict what Bitcoin will be in the next 10 years. If someone can have the confidence that Bitcoin will be close to that level in the next 10 years, that means the person can also predict what the next move will be in the market. Bitcoin is a volatile asset, and anything can happen in the next decade. Everyone believe Bitcoin will be greater in the future than where it is today, so let’s enjoy the moment and see what happens in future, whether it is going to be below or above the price.

Quote
People will also have more understanding of bitcoin, its relevance to them, and how it could be able to serve them for different purposes, as a digital currency, a means of making payments, or a store of value; maybe we would have seen as many as possible, several countries that we accept Bitcoin as legal tender.
In the next 10 years, we going to more stores accept bitcoin as payment method, bitcoin adoption is definitely going to increase, more people are going to be interested in bitcoin. People focus more on investment right now, in the next 10 years, we should expect more people to make transactions with bitcoin.

If you check it well, the price of Bitcoin was not at the same place it was three years ago, so definitely we may see it go above it last ATH. We are going to see Bitcoin adoption in many countries, and I hope my country should be among the countries to accept Bitcoin as means of payment in the future.

Personally thinking without repercussions, I think wildly about Bitcoin progression, I immensely think Bitcoin will dominate globally more than it has already done and at a larger end cause alot of problem for the fiat system, the major progression is globalization and it would take a larger part in overall world transactions. Mini business will even be able to effortlessly offer services with Bitcoin as a payment  choice everywhere and more than that, it trajectory shows us it's ability can be limitless.

Well judging from the current trend it is easier to predict a positive outcome for bitcoin in the next decade because bitcoin has shown significant dominance amongst other cryptocurrencies in recent times and there is high chances it will do far more better than what it is doing currently since more and more persons/countries are getting to know and accept bitcoin as a means of exchange.

However, widespread adoption of bitcoin doesn’t change the fact that bitcoin still remains a digital asset and as such is still prone to fluctuations because of it’s volatile nature, in as much as we propose a great future for bitcoin we should also invest with caution, 10years is a long time and a lot can happen, a major event, news or war could change the current bitcoin trajectory in split seconds, it is better for investors to regulate their expectations about bitcoin so they don’t put themselves in a tight corner should incase bitcoin doesn’t go as predicted.

Don't forget that Satoshi created Bitcoin as alternative, not to compete with or replace traditional monetary system.

Right now, Bitcoin and the traditional monetary system are still working side by side and serving different needs. So Bitcoin growing doesn't necessarily mean it'll become a bigger threat or cause more trouble for the fiat system, or vice versa.

Personally, I think over the next decade, Bitcoin will keep growing more as a store of value compete with other asset, rather than becoming the backbone of the global payment system. Stablecoin will become the next global payment system.

A lot of users are really interested in Bitcoin because of the bull and bear cycles, but if cycle changes I don’t think the intrest is going to disappear. Bitcoin now, is more than just somthing people buy during a bear market and sell during a bull run.
Altcoins may do grow more, but in market Bitcoin still has the most strongest recognition and also adoption in market. Next 10 years will show if the advantage stays.

Most investor pay attention to the cycles, but that's not really the main reason they're interested in Bitcoin. They simply want to take advantage of those cycles and make bigger profit.
As long as Bitcoin can still deliver big return, it doesn't matter whether the cycle keeps repeating or not.

At the end of the day, people come into the market for profit. So if Bitcoin stop giving them the returns they expect over the next 10 year. There's nothing surprising about them moving to altcoin if they see more upside there.

Ten years from now is a long time, in which people like Peter Schiff, the world's biggest celebrity, will kill Bitcoin several times in these ten years. Bitcoin will come back to life again. This is how it will go on year after year, for ages.
However, Bitcoin has created its own position and now different countries of the world are storing Bitcoin as their strategic reserve. Different companies are investing a large part of their annual budget in Bitcoin.
So in 10 years, some times there will be market corrections and some times there will be market pumping and in this way, as it has been in the past, it will go on in the future as well.

Yeah, I think the cycle of corrections and recoveries will probably continue. What I’m more curious about is how much Bitcoin’s use cases will evolve over the next 10 years, beyond just holding it as a reserve.

Bitcoin has been around for quite a while now and has already gone through several cycles.

Some people see it mainly as digital gold, while others believe it could become much more than that.

I'm curious how people here see Bitcoin evolving over the next 10 years.

Will it remain mostly a store of value, or do you think we'll see new use cases develop over time?

What do you guys think?
In a decade price will most likely be around 400K and by then price might only move around 10-20% for each bull market.

I'm curious how people here see Bitcoin evolving over the next 10 years.
I believe that Bitcoin will be more accepted with the countries more and more indebted with their devalued currencies. In ten years there will be alot of people regretting of not having bought Bitcoin that today is cheap comparing from here 10 years.
