That’s very correct Op, there’s nothing more exciting to a gambler than when he is currently winning a game and as at that time, players would even want to win more money and wouldn’t want to stop. After winning one and continuously winning, they feel that is the right time to keep playing more games to get more lucky, thereby taking higher risk by risking larger amount with the full confidence of winning. So the risk gets higher when one win, because most times when players lose, they get discouraged to keep playing.

This is something that has happened to me several times which I'm still trying to figure out why I usually end up increasing my stake whenever I'm on a winning streak, maybe it was because I felt it was my lucky day or I wanted to win big all at once and then walk away. It doesn't matter if you bet with large / small amount of money. It depends on how lucky you are. There some who will win multiple games with big amount whereas some might not even be able to get a single win with the small amount of money they have. I don't play casino games, my area of focus is on sports betting. For me it still looks easier to win in sports betting than in Casino games. Reason is because, if you watch the sports well, you can easily analyse and predict the outcome of the game. Where you might experience loss is if the team you bet on didn't perform well like they used to. Possibly, winning bet regularly can easily affect gamblers system of gambling, even when some gamblers don't win regularly they still gamble always talk more of when you win regularly. When a gambler wins regularly, the gambler would think he or she has gotten a regular source of income, and would like to continue gambling regularly increase their staking power , not knowing it could also be a trap for them, because it will make you to even loose more than you have won. If a gambler is winning, and he wants to gamble more, he can put a small part of the win back into gambling. If he loses, he won't still get affected badly.

It is not very easy for gambers to win and be using small amount to bet, I have tried it before and I do not like the result. There was a day that I won money on a contest on this forum and the gambling site credited my account that I have with them. It was $50 and I used it to gamble and win $108, but instead for me to withdraw, I started using small amount of money to gamble and it reduced to $70 which means instead of $58 profit and I having $20. It was that time that I just think I have to withdraw the remaining money and I withdraw it. If I gamble now and I win, I withdraw the money very fast.

This is the best option, exactly something I would have done too. The best anyone can do to secure the money he won is to take a break after winning. This is wrong or if you say gamblers rely on luck than their skills which is why they tend to lose anytime they gamble. I don't think there is any gambler that hasn't experienced luck before but you can't have luck often in gambling if you are not equip with a skill to win, you are only lying to yourself, when the time for luck don't find you anymore, that money you won by luck will be loss back to casino and not just that, you will lose everything you have back to the casino.

I don't think winning can make one uncontrollably. There are gamblers that know their capacity, they gamble like they don't have anything, some do it for the money and you know what's cool about their obsession? They win, they lose but overall aggregate, they make money they can't account from gambling.

I agree that discipline and self-control are extremely important here. But I wouldn’t say that  chances of making consistent profit are necessarily much higher in esport. If someone really understand a particular game, team, players and their current form, they may have certain advantage when it come to analysis. But bookmaker also take huge amount of information into account and build their margin into odds.

At the same time, even profitable strategy can easily stop working if gambler start breaking their own rule. After few win, there’s a temptation to increase the bets, and after loss, there’s a temptation to quickly win money back.

There are some games we may predict the outcome and it may become the same to what we may have predicted. But what I have to say here is that gamblers really need to always take charge. They shouldn't make themselves slaves to their emotions, rather they should always be in control anytime they are gambling so as to avoid cases whereby folks will deviate from their original set limit due to them being either on a long winning streak as well as a losing streak...
Folks should always know when to take a break from gambling and that's basis of self control...And when there is self control a gambler can know when to make a stop whenever a bet isn't favouring him or also in case where he is favoured(winning)...
