Those receiving the context without verifying are the ones to be blamed, for blindly accepting what they didn't verified. This is while they don't last afterwards, information are everywhere and as a person it is your responsibility to do more research and verify before taking action, holding for long term requires being patient and not everyone can have this patient that's where the problem is,  and on hearing about short term profit, they become super excited and fall a victim of chasing short term profit which doesn't just happen as expected, no wonder some end up selling at lost that's below what they bought because of impatient.

A person with common sense wouldn't just jump into something without having a deep understanding of how it work or why it gives quick profits. They should have thought of it that if it's giving such quick profits why is everyone not rich by now? U think those set of people are just dumb and they are the ones they end up selling when Bitcoin price doesn't move as they expect.
Also since they lack knowledge they just invest wrongly, and their investment is usually influenced by success stories they often hear which makes them to believe with Bitcoin money can never lost.

I think people should start to prioritize learning and researching before going into anything even though it's Bitcoin because no investment can guarantee success all the time.

I don't think it will ever fade (quick-profit mentality), considering how streamers are showing their success in making money in just a small amount of time. Even my kids told me they want to be streamers, but I told them to finish school first.

Don't dream too high and don't expect too much too quickly. Basically, if you want instant results, it's definitely not in the investment realm. Whether it's crypto, Bitcoin, or other investment assets, nothing can make someone rich quickly. So, everything requires a process, and we must enjoy it, and not just focus on the results. Because if your initial intention in entering the crypto realm is simply to get rich quickly, I think that's a bad intention. Ultimately, it will lead you into dangerous trading.

So, just think realistically, because everything requires a process. Regarding long-term holding, I think this is a very good thing. They wanted fast profits, that is literally what everyone is after with crypto, Bitcoiner are not left out with this obsession of quick return too. I think the foundation of profits in crypto is always fast, the ICO tokens says alot about the journey of crypto, the profit was one of the reason people came and start hunting altcoins until many of them disappointed them and I can tell you that till now many are hanging around waiting for that profit to sell their bags.

Let me take you back in time, if not for lack of patience that many people had, I don't see any cogent reason why any person should invest in meme coins but even the Bitcoin investors were on the timelike shilling scam coins because their investment were not giving them anything. My opinion is that social media hype has blinded many into believing crypto is a get-rich scheme. When that doesn't happen as they were led to believe, they start calling crypto a scam, forgetting that social media feeds from all these influencers are the ones that fed them the wrong mentality about crypto. The root cause of these faulty mentality is mostly the information source, most times, these people get their information form the wrong source and that alone position them for  a very wrong start, if they have the wright information form the very beginning, the chances are that they will be of a very different orientation that will help them attempt investing better than they do now.

The motivation behind most entries is mostly from successful stories of others they find around without having to consider the build ups that led to that story, they only consider that it took what seemed like a short time for that success to be achieved and so they don't get the part of the story where the person who had such success had to go through several years of learning and preparations for that moment which they saw, so this could take years to learn and understand and then a few days or weeks to get the success, but you must have the whole process to get the success which most of these persons possibly miss.

Sometimes people don't live in real time; rather, they live more in an imaginary world and staying on that side always disappoints you.
