All this exaggerating and speculation by CZ and Saylor is just to remain relevant and keep more attention focused on their businesses because to think of it, how is it even possible for Bitcoin still undergoing so much policy remaking just to fit into society, gets to surpass a precious metal like gold that has been existing even before the current fiat currency of your country became a legal tender?

I still don't know why people take him seriously. Look at his X tweets and posts, they barely get likes because of the losses many people have made from him, and since then, his mode of influencing is now talking about things that are speculations and yet controversial. We want Bitcoin to be up there with a market cap bigger than gold, but it is not as simple as it look, it requires almost all institutional investors to buy Bitcoin and because of the monopoly of institutional wealth, it will be difficult to overtake gold in the next couple of years, but it is not completely impossible.

Just like @MiaChioe pointed out, it's going to require a 20x return from its current levels a d not even in the next two bull runs for Bitcoin to achieve this feat even though the price might get to an ATH that's believeable.
For Bitcoin to get to about $350k in the next bull run, would require that its market cap should be around $6.9trillion which is about 1/5 of golds current size and that's being mathematically illogical according to my calculations.

We struggled to make a 100k appearance, and this took more than 10 years, if we are to make the same journey again, it will require many sacrifices that were done before. Assuming the country reserve we expected actually played out, it would have been easy, the more they buy, the more it encourages other people to buy and invest in Bitcoin, that is one of the easiest paths to achieve that coin market cap.

This guy is simply saying what people at the event want to hear, not what's actually happening. Just be realistic: it's unlikely for Bitcoin to rise that significantly in the next bull run. I'm not skeptical that Bitcoin could reach $1 million; it's just not going to happen anytime soon, but perhaps in the next decade or even longer.

Moreover, we shouldn't keep comparing Bitcoin and gold because they are different assets with different purposes. Bitcoin has its own users, and gold has its own users as well. He have said a lot since 2022 and I wouldn't be betting anything on him, CZ is somebody only when his exchange and pocket is involved , apart from this he is nobody, what he is simply trying to push here is awareness.

More money needs to flow into crypto space and this is a sure way to take him up to the next level in total net worth, take his advice with a grain of salt, you do you and focus on your own.

CZ and all the likes of him are all chasing their own money, I was misleaded by the likes of them in 2023 and I ended up losing a lot of money, it was like I wasted four good years for nothing.

Reading through the source you added in this topic, all the points that CZ used to make this analysis is not really enough factor that can make Bitcoin overtake gold just in the next bull run. We need more adoption and utility of Bitcoin for such result to be seen between now until the bull run and it's not going to be possible. I would have thought it to be possible if maybe some of the Bitcoin friendly country starts to compete amongst themselves who will purchase more Bitcoin and put in their reserve and also more institutions adopting the option to paying workers in Bitcoin, but that's not something that's will happen anytime soon. If you actually read the article very well, I doubt you will find any convincing fact that Bitcoin will surpass gold in this upcoming bull run.

This is why I don't trust CZ when it comes to bitcoin predictions. Because it seems more unrealistic for us. Bitcoin is still new compared to gold, gold has been here already 6000 to 7000 years ago. So I don't think gold's market cap will be easily beaten by bitcoin. I don't even think if it will be happening in the future years. Bitcoin might lost its value in the market, but gold will surely keep going.

I don't know what makes people so confident that Bitcoin will overtake gold. But honestly, considering current demand, practical utility, and adoption, I still don't see enough reason to believe it will happen.

The gap between the two is still huge, so its way too early to talk about Bitcoin catching up to gold, let alone overtaking it.

And even if bitcoin overtake gold, that would only put bitcoin at a bigger threat, especially from the centralized financial agencies.

If bitcoin will get to over $32 trillion in marketcap, it would have surpassed $1 million and going to $1.5 million in price.

That mean bitcoin volatility in the uptrend increased significantly in a way many people among us do not expect.

I find this hard to believe but not impossible to happen. Given the history of bitcoin, it does have the potential to surpass Gold but not quite soon.
Right now bitcoin has to go 32x which is surely gonna take a long time to happen and the thing is, Gold won't stop until then.
Gold will keep rallying upwards too, although at a slower rate but it will keep moving thus the point of contact will be a significant time from now.
It will happen but it's gonna take a good amount of time for sure.

It's sounds like a far fetched target.I do like the fact that we are always positive on bitcoins growth, but we have to stay realistic and on track.

In the next bull run? Gold is actively rising and the more economical crises occurs in the coming future, it's market cap continues to rise. Bitcoin will get there in the future but I do not think it I'll surpass gold in my bit. I like to view them as two different assets with an entirely separate market.

Simply now he is trying to have something special for future because things are not going favorable for him last few months he needs peoples talk about him and his potential about crypto which is not worth right now this prediction can give him some boost through his exchange with he could be join next level of wealthy peoples as well but prediction is not going to be true in short term its needs enough time for having this.
 
Gold is currently at $32 trillion, and Bitcoin is touching $1 trillion. Everyone with a good mind can understand it's not realistic to just try to have something spicy on social media and nothing else.
Bitcoin's potential is amazing, but it needs enough time as well because having this figure quickly is not even talkable for anyone who has all his senses right. A few people are doing good things in the last few days, but it's just the start.

Everyone of us know that the bull run is coming and it came, but that does not mean people should always believe the people earning money from cryptocurrencies. All what they want is good, but they like to overestimate.

CZ predicted that there will be super cycle, but bear market came instead.

Of course.  I do remember that one time he guessed it right when it went over 100,000 Dollars but I never keep up with 'predictions' unless I inevitably constantly see them around Bitcoin Talk.  I know Schiff is REALLY bad at predicting, I know there was also this other guy I forgot the name of who had the market turn almost immediately upside down every single time he said it was going one way.

I would not necessarily take a prediction seriously from a Binance CEO, a Bukele, a Saylor or even a Satoshi.  Prediction is all about chance to me, it is however pretty entertaining watching them fail miserably most of the time.

What I believe is that bitcoin will get to all time high,  but bitcoin will not go above $350000 in the next bull run.

Bitcoin to do $150,000 next bull season, or rather $200,000 if I'm not mistaken, after the periodic cycle of 4-5 years from $60k. I don't know how many years have been spent when the bear started and so few years from now Bitcoin to record new ATH not now.

Some investors might be confusing the recent rally to be bull season, it's a retracement I'm sure which often times happens to restructure the market strength and momentum.

Let everyone be calm, and watch Bitcoin price go down below the current price and the do another new ATH, that movement won't be new to me.

Maybe it could surpass Gold but is it necessary for Bitcoin to surpass Gold in the next bullrun? The answer is No, these people are just capping, they are exaggerating everything to make people still believe.

Little did they know that even without them existing in this world Bitcoin still don't care, there is no timing when Bitcoin would do better than the rest of any available assets in the world today.

Do not make any decisions based on what CZ said, just DCA in Bitcoin you will be fine than majority of others who act only on what popular people said about Bitcoin.

Such predictions seem unbelievable to me, I don't think they will come true. Actually I don't know what they base such predictions on.

Now I believe that at some point in the future Bitcoin's market cap will exceed or overtake gold. But I don't think it will happen in the next bull run, we may have to wait a few more cycles to see. No one can say for sure what Bitcoin's price will be in the next bull run, but I wouldn't expect more than 250k.

I don't want to waste time thinking about whether Bitcoin's market cap will surpass gold, I'm waiting for Bitcoin to hit $1 million first.

The prediction from CZ is unrealistic because now time is almost over for Bitcoin to have 10x or anything like this. There is no doubt about its potential, but it's not going to happen. Like CZ is already talking, he is doing things like these only for having some good intention. Maybe he is working on any project or has anything that needs good intention, so he started through this. Everyone is watching differently, so how is this possible. Realistically, it's not going to happen as he is mentioning. Even I personally believe this will happen, but it's going to take enough time because the difference is huge, and it needs stability and an end to volatility, which is realistic for Bitcoin.

It would be absolutely bonkers if this had happens. I think there is potential for something like this to happen in the next 10 or 20 years but in order to happen now idk, there would have to be some pretty big developments in the space for this to happen. Anything can happen! Just be sure to HODL

I agree that overtrading is one of the biggest problems. What I find interesting is that sometimes the problem isn't the strategy itself, but the trader feeling like they always need to have a position open.

Unlike many people here, I prefer to be realistic. I don't even think Bitcoin will overtake gold, let alone in the next cycle.

The gap in marketcap and demand between the two is still too big. Gold is used across all kind of industries, not just for speculation. Demand for it is huge, and no matter how much new supply comes in, its still hard to keep up. Meanwhile, BTC is still mostly treated as an investment asset.

So until Bitcoin has much stronger real demand and start being used for thing beyond just investing, overtaking gold is still just a dream.

I'm not a fan of this comparison thing, not to even talk about comparing both gold and bitcoin, I mean, every sensible investors put there should have this both as their top asset to be accumulating alongside lands which should be a lot beneficial to them as their value appreciates with time.
Although, I'm keen to see what bitcoin achieves when it eventually becomes everyday money both in Africa and in all of Europe. In conclusion, I do not care about comparison, as much as you have got big bucks, these are the assets you stack up.
