Or this could be the start of the bullish season as we have been dealing the bearish market for long time now.

What we have here are just pure speculations, as no one is certain what will be the next move of bitcoin. But one thing is certain, bitcoin will not stay at a bearish price forever.

I wouldn't say it's a price level for rejection or a breakout; it's simply the result of a series of massive purchases, and obviously the price has risen. Is it good? Yes, it's very good because it was around $64k, and suddenly it's up and almost at $80k, which is very good. Will it hold? I don't know.

I'm not entirely sure about this, but the current price of 80,000 to 83,000 is a fairly strong resistance level. So, if that level is broken, I think Bitcoin will continue to rise. However, if the current Bitcoin price fails to break through that level, I think it's highly likely that Bitcoin could return to a lower price or move sideways. So, for now, we just need to focus on that key area, and then we can make a more informed analysis. Speaking of the right breakout, I think if we look at it long-term,, daily and weekly candlesticks are certainly very strong indicators, especially if they're confirmed by monthly candlesticks, which would be even stronger. Big holders keep buying and positive news that would attract more investors spreading moreover touching $80k would give many retails the impression that it would hit six figures again so they wouldn't want to miss out but buying before it hit six figures again. Living in the market and predicting the market in short term is very hard, like $1k or $5k movement in price now either upwards or downwards can mean a lot during this time and this phase of the market. However months later or two years later, when Bitcoin is in a bull market of a new market cycle, $5k will become very small price change, in percent of price change I mean, because in the future with price around $130k or $150k or higher, the $5k change will mean very small.

However, we are still accumulating a zone either through DCA or direct purchase. So we won't have to regret it when we have a bull trend.

If we do investment, ignore trading, and we apply the DCA strategy, we will not have need of predicting the market in short term. Even we will have need of purchasing bitcoin, we will do it in comfortable way with DCA buying practice.

I honestly think this thread is about trading discussion but it is here making pages on Bitcoin discussion board. Anyways, this price was as a result of the announcement of US government trying to buy back their bonds, they want people to have interest in keeping the commitment of the contract and these makes market too react bit Bitcoin volatility was way more than how other market reacted but it does not mean it's a fake pump, if it was, the price would have plummet in the second daily candle.

There is another thing I will like you too look about the market, there is more leverage traders than the spot buyers, the open interest of traders has increased from that day, I'm not sure if it has reduced since that day and as long as that exist, it means trader are interested to see where Bitcoin goes next. You may wake up the second day and see Bitcoin trade above the retest place you are expecting, the market is sometimes beyond what we see on the chart.

We have seen huge increase in price of Bitcoin towards the end of August and now everyone is excited to see how Bitcoin behave in month of September. Price is now under 80,000$ and next few days are critical because they will tell whether Bitcoin will be able to cross 80,000$ or not. You're right, the $80k level represents a lot of investor confidence, but recent news may have affected BTC's continued rise. The effects of news from the Fed, Trump, and geopolitical events are currently impacting the price. Things might go down a little this month of September, but I'm sure everything will work out. Perhaps we'll see a value above $80k sometime during September.

Yeah, I see what you mean. When I mentioned DCA, I wasn’t talking about buying every dip.

The way I see it, DCA is simply putting in a fixed amount at regular intervals, regardless of what BTC is doing at that moment. You’re not really trying to catch the bottom or wait for the perfect entry. Buying a bit more during a bigger correction can be part of someone’s wider strategy, but I’d separate that from pure DCA.

If the market can hold several days above $80K, then this is a very good sign that we may be in a bullish state already. My thoughts on the price level of bitcoin being convincing beyond reasonable doubt for a long term bullish state is the market crossing above $100K. If we can hit $100K before the end of the year, I’ll feel more comfortable that the bullish market is back again. The state of the current market is not convincing for most people and investors, so we may just be hoping for a clear direction of the market for now while hoping the market doesn’t face a major downturn in the market again.

The bearish price of bitcoin has been talked much about to be probably coming to an end by end of the year. A bullish sentiment is foreseen for bitcoin by 2027, but not a definite month has been foresighted for that now. The market trading above $80K is still not going to make one feel persuaded that the bullish market is back and we are going to be recording another all time high soon. Well, we still haven't actually broken through the $82,000 barrier. As soon as we hit $85,000 or so, it’ll be clear that the next major resistance level will be $100,000. It was a major resistance level the first time it was broken, and I don’t expect it to be any easier this time around because it’s such a big, round number—too tempting—that many people are going to place sell orders at that level.
