Just don't be too over with it or having of too much of it. And we have to balance all of these factors, emotions, knowledge, confidence. Too much of everything is bad.
I do agree with you on that, that’s why it takes one who can actually effectively moderate these things to be able to make informed decisions. Especially the confidence part, life has a way dealing with people who feel overconfident in themselves, their knowledge and their abilities. In life there’s always room for growth, even in the slightest way, and there’s always need to take a second glance at things, even when you feel you’ve seen it before over and over again, especially when it involves finances, and these are mostly the areas that overconfidence can mess people up, they become careless and sometimes land themselves in errors that could’ve been easily avoided if they had taken a moment to evaluate the situation again.

I want to add one: the address itself isn't the main danger. Once an address is public, scammers can craft targeted phishing emails that reference your real balance.

If you need to share payment info, use single-use addresses or tools that generate one-time payment links instead of exposing your main wallet address.

Let's assume I posted this as my wallet address:bcq1dhjjdkdkjajdjkejfjjdjfjfjdj and I asked you to to send some funds to the address, after confirmation it has 0.5 Btc as balance. How can you do that when you don't even know my email or details? Such scam to anyone is impossible unless they give you more than the address to the public.

I have seen this type of scam attempts and address is not sufficient but mostly, people with social media that have their details to public are the most exposed with this kind of scams.

Silent payment is a good option but I guess the adoption is low, you don't need to share address anytime you want to receive transaction from another person. You just generate a silent payment address to the sender, even if you do it on the public, your address remain hidden.

What many people fail to understand is that the safety of their wallet is just as important as the asset inside, if not more important, because if the security and safety is compromised, then there’ll be no more investment after all. Only those who really understand this are really mindful about their wallet’s security.
That's just the raw truth. Because if the wallet isn't saved from your end then what is of the funds that is in it, their is actually nothing to talk about what is in the wallet because it will certainly be cleared off . For instance, if a house isn't properly secured, then what is inside the house is also not save. I know that those that normally neglect security and failed not to preserve their asset from being hacked are mostly people that hasn't experienced any bad senero before, because if they have been in the shoe they will know where it hot.

But in this case, it is only the wallet addresses that are exposed, the wallet will remain safe as long as no other information is provided. If exposing public wallet address is risky, then many people will be at risk for long because some people have their wallet exposed and if they have their seed phrase and maybe private keys safe, nothing wrong will happen to their wallet.

The only threat is the email address that’s for people saving important and sensitive information in their email address; scammers can use the email to be sending them some links that will be phishing or attempt hacking the emails to try some attempts that if you are vigilant and knows how to secure your wallets, your emails will not contain any sensitive information about your wallet since the recovery seed phrases are advised to be saved offline.

In my own views, the only thing I do observed is that,  when it comes to mistakes in finance, it somtimes not lack of knowledge. But those that usually Claims smartness when acting towards any situations, experience is the best teacher and it actually makes our confidence more stronger. That's why it's better to cross check every address before performing transactions, know the decisions you are making, and also seek for another different views and ideas from experienced one can stop you from uneeded losses that may affect you. We just need to be very careful when making decisions, because making anyhow decisions can make you think longer before everything get itself.

This is more reason why we should be careful with our key phrases because scammers always there to ensure to hack into our wallets and we know the end story. What we do know about public address? It's very dangerous and risky as we might see it. We know the space is filled with volatility and also the public address become more riskier when our previous and current transactions history become discernable.

For us to be on the same page and more safer measures, we should be able to know what we want and how to manage ourselves when we're stuck in matters like this. What we do is to create new fresh wallet address and never to repeat using your main wallet address anymore since it'd been leaked to the public already. Taking actions against links by verifying wallet connection before proceeding to trade.

All of the things you, some are not correct. You can't share public key online and your wallet will be hack, it's not possible but your privacy can be explosd but still it doesn't mean that your wallet can be hack. Ther is only way you wallet can be accessed and that is if you don't hide your private keys and seed phrase. If scammers get hand on any of the two, your coins will be stolen.

Don't share your private keys online if they request for it, even if it's altcoins, there is no crypto that need your private keys. If you need connection, your address can help you do that for you.

I think the only way such scams can be executed is in the event they send a message with OP_RETURN and add a phishing link, if the address owner foolishly opens the link and connects their wallet to the site and approves any transaction, then their funds is gone. Just knowing the address posses no serious harm to the owner, unless the address is somehow tied to the physical identity of the owner, then there may be a risk of wrench attack.

I want to know something with this silent payment stuff, how do you reconcile it to your address, like does any payment sent to the silent payment address automatically reflect in your main bitcoin address?

Your address was leaked to the public the moment you received any coins with it, your public key gets leaked when you spend from that address. Bitcoin transactions are recorded on a public ledger, so all addresses that have recorded transactions are public. The reason we're advised not to reuse address is to reduce the possibility of being deanonymised. There's no risk as the address got public as regards to OP, he should use a new address to receive newer coins since his email was leaked alongside that address which had connected the address to that email, there may only be risks of attempted phishing scam for the exposed email and nothing on the exposed address.

With that way of learning through our personal experience and we're aware of the situation and yet, we somehow fell for it. It's regretting to be in that shoe because we have an idea but we have not adhere to early signs that has been shown. We make mistakes but with the obvious, we should be reactive and being overconfident doesn't have a space when threats are just all around and chooses no one as their victim.
Not that it’s actually wrong to feel confident, it’s very okay to be confident in yourself or your knowledge, but more importantly even in our confidence we must learn to draw distinct lines between merely being confident because we see good opportunities and allowing our emotions to cloud our judgement. Because sometimes this is actually the problem, even when it’s clear that it’s a red zone, our emotions still wants to push us into giving it a try, probably due to the potential benefits promised.
Confidence without established principle is same as nothing,  its of know use been Confident in whatever we do when we can not operate with boundaries and principles that helps direct once decision at all time. 80 percent of scammed people today are people that believed and are Confident in their selves that they are very good in it without knowing scammers go extra miles just to convince one to accept there proposal.
With how things are now i will say we need to be very careful and never confident enough in handling anything that we come encountering

Sometimes overconfidence is even deadlier than lack of confidence because it makes people believe that they already know and understand something and so they don’t often see the need to check or reconfirm it again. It’s very possible for a person with several years of experience to fall for a well organized scam if they rely too much on their own judgment and see no need to research or investigate further. So in times when confidence fails, it’s crucial to have a simple rule for verifying information before acting on them.

The question in mind is if your address is know to hold $7000 worth of Bitcoin and alternative coins is there is possible dangers that I should be on the lookout for?

Does wallet addresses alone carries some risks when they aren't empty and exposed this way?

An exposed wallet address can still carry risk, even though funds can't be stolen from only having the wallet address. The real risk here is that you could lose your privacy as transactions on a public blockchain is very open to the general public and anybody who has your wallet address can get to know your balance and entire transaction history details, thereby painting a target behind your back if the wallet address holds a large balance.

An exposed email adress gives scammers the go ahead to send phishin links to that email, trying to access and obtain personal information of the owner of such an email. If a scammer gets this info, they could be able to link the wallet address of a user and their real world identity, making them a target both physically and online.

I am more concerned about open email addresses, scammers can easily steal a person's personal information by sending phishing links. Everyone needs to be careful not to touch emails from strangers and the links they send.

If you need to share payment info, use single-use addresses or tools that generate one-time payment links instead of exposing your main wallet address.
Electrum wallet is perfect example here because it generates new receiving address for every transaction and this is done by default. I think blue wallet works the same way for standard wallets.  Using unique addresses makes it harder to trace and track transaction movement. But I think tools like transaction clustering and change-address analysis can still link activity together but tools like CoinJoin or privacy-focused wallets exist for people who wants stronger guarantee.

Exactly like you said. Actually, a wallet address that’s exposed to the public isn’t directly dangerous to your assets because the blockchain is transparent. So anyone can see the amount of assets you have and your transaction history, but without access to your private key or recovery phrase your assets remain safe in the wallet.

But the risk to a wallet only comes up if your basic security is weak, for example if you’re easily tricked by phishing links in emails, install suspicious apps or store your seed phrase insecurely. So, we can say that what really determines whether it’s safe or not isn’t just your public wallet address, but how tightly you protect your devices, your habits when using the internet and your privacy keys.
