Some people develop certain skills, while others irrevocably end certain skills.

Technology promotes human production as long as its done the positive way around like using it to find solution to a problem, reduce human error and boost convenience and efficiency. But if its done for useless things, I don't think it will be seen productive. It could be productive on their own but it create negativity on the other people.

Learning technology comes with learning new skills and strategies, and reject those old human skills that are no longer proven effective and productive.

While In other hand some people don't rely on internet or technology for everything, they are skillful and productive outside internet. Both. The tech has a lot of benefits. We use technology in our daily lives, all the time, in smallest to biggest of areas. Can't deny that.

There were digital skills I acquired way before the advent of AI, which is basically one of the most significant technological advancement today. I was doing those skills very well, but when AI came into the picture, it kinda made my work easier, I no longer had to spend as much time as I used to in carrying out a single task, with the required AI tools, I could carry out my tasks efficiently and even with better results and still save time, which gives me more space to equally focus on other things. But did it make me lazy? Definitely not, because I still do my job, but these tools just made me better at what I do.

Technology advancements has cause more harm than good but that does not mean we should not consider the good that this technology advancement has done and I do not think it causes us to be dependent as we still do things without relying on technology when they should not be doing so. We can't avoid technological progress in fact almost every decade there's always a new technological development. And of course, with every tech advancement we can't avoid two possible outcomes both negative and positive but it all depends on how you adapt.
