Yeah I think most people just find it fun/intriguing to predict certain stuff, and when it turns out to be accurate, it even becomes more amazing. So the point of gambling doesn't strictly rely on casinos and other platforms. At the end of the day you just have to implement certain rules and stick with it. Looking at the example you gave, it definitely looks like gambling to me, because real money is being staked here and the bettor has no control over the outcome. Only difference is that instead of any roulette wheel or slot machine, real-world traffic is random variable.

Anything where you risk your hard earned money to make more money can be considered gambling. The gambling you mentioned from the TikTok video in the OP is nothing but another example of a prediction market. This isnt particularly odd as prediction markets are slowly becoming popular all over the world. There are markets where you can bet on who will be the next president, how many eggs a hen will hatch in a day, etc.

With this The Road and Parking prediction game seems really unique and interesting. I personally hate gambling when predictions are involved, although I do sports betting. So, I dont know whether people should continue participating in these types of prediction based gambling or not.

I have seen such bets being made nowadays but I have never participated, but if I get the chance I will definitely participate in such bets. It is easy to win in such bets by using only previous experience and luck. Because it is updated constantly and it can be found out how many cars are running and how many cars are running in how many minutes. So I think I will definitely bet some money in such bets, because my luck will definitely be more towards winning.
