But I have come to realise that people actually gamble on a lot that I can bet I and most of us here don't know about

Yeah, this has been a thing for a while now, it's not something new, I remember someone here in the forum posted about this kind of gambling months ago(I think, maybe longer). In this day and age, almost anything can be bet on, and with the emergence of prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket, that expanded a lot more.

I think I have seen a similar betting pattern on this board being discussed. I can’t remember how exactly it was, but I think it was a walkway and how many people will pass it being bet on, but these types of bets are individual bets; it’s hard for you to see them appear in any sportsbook offer.

I seen this crap and tried it when it first came out on gamdom but it's actually trash. They expect you to bet blind, they give you a location and a range of cars, then you bet. There's a few different bets you can do but you don't get to see the traffic coming or anything until the round starts.

I guess if you're betting small it can be a little entertaining but IMO it's not worth the risk. Rather play blackjack.

I have been aware of this kind of gambling or betting and I must say it is not for me.
It is rather strange if you think about it.

Also, it would be possible for people with enough resources to mess and manipulate those kind of markets if they wanted to.

It reminds me the man who wanted win money betting on Paris weather and temperature, so he decided to run a hair dryer on one of the thermal sensor used by the city to register temperature.
