I no go lie you Op you really try fir this wey u bring here, because even me myself don dey forget somtimes say rules they like this Wey moderator talk. This awareness sef go make people dey care if they read person thread, because I fit talk say we get plenty people for here wey no dey even read some messages wey the op dey pass,  them go just jump and begin they yanw talk, and some na to just go last person wey comment and read him messages and then answer am, without even reading the original topic Wey op create. Many newbies like us they do that thing sha, some of thier comments no go aligned with watin op dey talk. I fit agree with you say no Nigerian wey no sabi speak pidgin for south and western part of Nigeria, but in the north, you go discover say many people there no sabi English, talkless of pidgin. This is a nice one, it will enable people to know their stand just like the moment I saw the topic the first words "only pidgin" I almost skipped it because I feel my pidgin are funny whenever I speak and the same way when writing it, I can not tell but I just have that feeling even people around me confirmed that my pidgin usually sounds funny, that is how I was brought up though, i am not fluent in it, you know any language you are not fluent in even writing it becomes an issue, so it was when I looked through the topic completely that I understood the information Op gave after I read through the thread, and honestly I like it, it will prevent spamming as everyone will not be able to participate in the discussion.

It's a good one though, but I wonder why we cannot just all cohabit together in our replies, either pure English or pigin, they are still out language. I understand that some people cannot speak English fluently and thats there own problems, while other insist on just pidgin all through in the local board.

Nevertheless, the Choice is ours now. We can actually decide who you want to comment on your post.
But I still think this could be a barrier to knowledge in the local board. Some persons might come across a topic that he needs to contribute due to his experience or knowledge, and the topic is tagged 'only pigin', while the person can't communicate in pidgin, and so they just walt buy. It would have just been best to leave it open. Anyways, this have been concluded and we aren't going back.

The suggestion is good and a nice way to close the long argument of the language to use for the local board. This suggestion indeed retains the freedom aspect which Bitcoin signifies and that is right since we are in a Bitcoin forum, people should be able to enjoy the freedom of using which language they are comfortable with and avoid topics in which the author specified that discussion there should be strictly on pidgin. I have been a supporter of more pidgin to give us something that resemble identity but that does not mean that people should not be allowed to use English is the see the need to do so.
